  2. Yahoo! Sports reports that the Bulls and Knicks are discussing a trade that would send Tyrus Thomas and Jerome James to New York in exchange for Al Harrington. Several sources believe that Gar Forman would sign off on such a deal but Donnie Walsh is so far not ready to include Harrington. "Nothing is imminent, but both sides would like to figure out a way to do this," said a league executive who was briefed on the discussions. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/63182/20091204/bulls_and_knicks_discuss_tyrus_for_harrington_trade/

  13. The Mavericks may not have played the toughest schedule so far, but they have played one of the busiest. As of Sunday, only Portland had played more games than the Mavericks. Dirk Nowitzki says the Mavericks 'haven't really scratched the surface yet' due to injuries, but the 12-5 record is nice. Starting today, and throughout December, things get a little more normal. After six back-to-back sets in the first 17 games, the Mavericks only have two such situations from now until the new year. "We're definitely ready to make some hay," Jason Kidd said. Read More

  15. Prior to Sunday night's loss to the Lakers, a number of Nets players stepped up and took the blame for coach Lawrence Frank's firing. New Jersey fired Frank just hours before the team dropped to 0-17, tying an NBA record for consecutive losses to begin a season. "I do [feel bad]," guard Rafer Alston said. "He wasn't dealt a royal flush. It's almost like he had a pair of twos and he had to fight. Full Story
  16. Celtics forward Rasheed Wallace was fined $30,000 by the NBA on Sunday for comments made following Friday's win over the Raptors. Wallace, who called Toronto's Hedo Turkoglu a "flopper," expected the fine but certainly doesn't agree with it. "I'm definitely taking this one to the appeals board," he said. "I knew it was going to happen, but I don't know why (it did). I didn't talk about no refs. I'm going to get that one back for sure." http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/63091/20091130/rasheed_doesnt_agree_with_$30k_fine/
  17. Philadelphia head coach Eddie Jordan says that he hasn't talked to Allen Iverson about signing with the team. Jordan went as far as to say that he hasn't even discussed the possibility of signing Iverson with anyone inside the organization. "It's something that's probably more in the media than it actually is," Jordan said Sunday. "We're just going about our daily operation of practicing and trying to win a game. But certainly I have not talked to anybody about Allen Iverson." The 76ers have entertained the idea of signing Iverson, who reportedly retired last week, but sources told ESPN.com on Saturday that the guard's return to Philadelphia is not certain and that no face-to-face meetings have been scheduled. "We have not talked about adding anybody to our team because we still have a good roster," Jordan said. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/63075/20091129/jordan_hasnt_discussed_signing_iverson/
