Marquis Daniel Officially a Celtic
doobeedoo replied to magicbalala245's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
A steal. Daniels filled in admirably when Granger or Dunleavy JR sat out because of injuries. Doc can finally tone down Pierce's minutes. Daniels is not as clutch or a high quality shooter like Posey was. -
They both play similarly IMO but Davis is the better fit and is already proven
-
SVG better find Gortat minutes to justify matching Gortat's offer sheet. Otherwise move him after December, I hate to see someone being paid that much for 7-10 minutes per game.
-
Huh? I almost wish it was rescinded. Assuming Okafor's offensive game doesn't improve drastically this season, the differences between Okafor and Chandler talent wise seems too minuscule for me... and the Hornets are still a bit far from contending. Peja is starting to fall off, he needs to stay healthy along with Mo Pete and there's still issues with their depth.
-
Unbelievable success? He doesn't seem to really do anything but score. (At a rather low FG% too.) He's an OK player and even if he does taste the playoffs this season the Hawks will likely be swept. Sure it's good to have the experience but reminiscent of Shareef's career it was too little too late.

Cosign with the Foye pick. Foye had a small renaissance last season and was finally healthy. After all... how many minutes will be available for Nick Young with a log jam of guards? He'll most likely be a valuable trade asset. Of your list Blatche is my pick, as he was for the last 2 seasons. He really needs to find consistency.

Rumor: Bowen May End Up In Boston
doobeedoo replied to The Goods's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
Cosign x3. Bowen fell of the map and I'd rather have fresh legs that can sub in for Pierce/Allen. -
Rockets' season can be salvaged
doobeedoo replied to Heir Rose's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
I didn't like the Ariza signing much but Battier could serve as a valuable trade chip. A deal for Redd doesn't excite me either, I'd rather have TMac's contract come off the books next Summer and retool from their. -
C.J. Watson Wants to Leave Golden State
doobeedoo replied to A.K.'s topic in Orlando Magic Team Forum
CJ Watson can't shoot 3's but he has fresh legs compared to Anthony Johnson. I like it if the move happens. He scored a lot of points when soaking up garbage minutes towards the end of last season. (lol) -
Which Team Improved the Most this Off-Season?
doobeedoo replied to a topic in General NBA Discussion
The Spurs and Magic are about even at first. Buford's moves put the Spurs back on the map. The bench is deeper, Mason and Hill have improved a lot over the course of last season, and hopefully Ginobli's health is back. The Spurs are poised for a deep playoff run next year. The management in Orlando literally went above and beyond. Nearly every position improved. Nelson returns after missing half of his All-Star season. Carter and Barnes add versatility, depth and experience to the wings. Meanwhile Anderson, Bass, and Gortat have proven to be very efficient under limited minutes. Hedo will be missed but IMO his void has been sufficiently filled. Prove me wrong next season though. -
Biedrins, Ellis, or Randolph?
doobeedoo replied to Legacy's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
Build around all three of them... and trade away pieces for things that aren't shooting guards maybe? -
Tyrus Thomas: I'm the starting power forward
doobeedoo replied to The Goods's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
Like his attitude... It's about time Ty got enough PT for a break out year. We saw him making strides last season, hopefully he can unlock his potential DBZ style. -
Big 3 sent to recruit Rasheed & Grant Hill
doobeedoo replied to magicbalala245's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
No sorry, I'd prefer if Hill came off the bench. Doc needs to sub out Pierce some time now... And wait. If the Celtics are after Sheed & Hill, will they have enough money for BBD? -
Marbury believes days w/C's are over

Good. Ainge needs the money to sign Sheed & BBD. Anything is better than Dragic -
Amare Has Little Interest In Golden State
doobeedoo replied to magicbalala245's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
Amare is not a SG. I don't think Nellie wants him either. -
As I stated in my thread. I dislike what Dumars did. I wonder where his head has gone off too. Last season he signed Kwame, resigned Hamilton to a ridiculously bad contract, and traded Billups away. All of the cap space the Pistons had this off season got me over hyped I admit. But VILLANUEVA AND GORDON? I love Gordon don't get me wrong, but all he does is score and I can't help but to feel that he got over paid. Oh and he plays the same position as Hamilton. (Together they are the highest paid players on that team.) Charlie V still has holes on defense and is inconsistent. Could it be 'cause last year was a contract year? Maybe. The Pistons still have a hole at the 5 and I do hope Dumars is cooking something. Hopefully he can get someone stupid enough to take on Rip's contract. But then again. During their title run, they didn't get their fifth (Sheed) till mid February. We'll see.

Transformers 2: Rise of the Fallen

Terrible movie. 2/5. Don't go into the movie having high expectations.. expect a summer flick with cheap thrills. And a lot of talking. -
Thorn: Nets Can Offer Two Max Deals In 2010
doobeedoo replied to The Goods's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
New Jersey's odds in the 2010 sweepstakes are much better imo. A core of Harris, Lopez and Lee looks a lot more enticing than the scrubs across the river. -
Ariza verbally commits to Houston

What's so bad about Zach Randolph?
doobeedoo replied to Multi-Billionaire's topic in General NBA Discussion
I think we have said at least 100 times that Randolph is a cancer and black hole on offensive. but. to add onto the pressing issue of Zachary Randolph. The Grizzlies have no future with him! I would rather have a David Lee or Millsap than this old sack of crap. Imagine. A front court of Gasol, Thabeet and Lee/Millsap paired along high flying wingmen in Gay and Mayo. THEN a rock steady PG in Conley. Once again Chris Wallace, you have proven why you are the worst GM in the league. -
All of the trades have been lopsided talent-wise of course... and it's close but the Spurs got my vote because it put them back on the map. I don't know how I feel about the Magic deal since Turkoglu is walking. I fear the Magic have struck gold with the Turkoglu-Howard pick and roll. Can Shaq take the medical staff from Phoenix with him...?

Official Artest to Lakers? Thread
doobeedoo replied to The Goods's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
The official yet unofficial reason. Ron wanted to expand his rap career and get on the Lakers mixtape. http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_sports_nba_experts__27/ept_sports_nba_experts-481229980-1245950634.jpg?ymqaUeBDb3X3YKu6 http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_sports_nba_experts__27/ept_sports_nba_experts-85636576-1245950821.jpg?ymldUeBD.y70dYyQ -
