Spiderman Franchise scrapped: Reboot coming in 2012
reno replied to Flash's topic in Movies and Television Forum
Good, I would ditch the whole deal after thatterrible third movie anyway. The 20 min emo scene deserves the whole crew to be canned, and not to add they completely missed a huge opporunity with venom in that last film. Its strange that they want to reboot the franchise so soon, but as long as its better ill be happy. The Spiderman movies always seemed a bit amateur to me anyway. -
Woodson decisively wins Defensive POY award
reno replied to ChosenOne's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
I don't know, maybe cause of more media attention? Certain analyst were kissing his [expletive] all season long *gruden*? I'm not saying woodson played a bad season, cause he did have a great season especially for his age, its just revis played better. -
Yes, why do you ask?

Woodson decisively wins Defensive POY award
reno replied to ChosenOne's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
Revis Deserved this award, not woodson. Revis played a true shutdown corner against elite receivers,of course hes not going to get the same defensive stats as other corners since teams do not throw his way. While woodson did play a great season, his stats did not help him much last week as he was getting torched by the cardinals now did it? Revis held almost all the number one receivers under 35 yards a game, that's just unreal. I'm really shocked that the voting was not even close, how did woodson get double the votes is beyond me. -
You can get a professor that's an easy A.

When they mess up your order, do you take it back?
reno posted a topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
When you go to a fast food joint, and for example you said no cheese or no mayo, and you end up getting cheese/mayo, do you go back inside the place to get a new one, or just try and remove it yourself? Personally, I will just remove it myself if its something minor, but if they goofed up my order completely I take it back. Also pisses me off how rude or careless some of the employers are, I know its a minimum wage job but still is it that hard to say thank you and be respectful? -
IF i was the eagles coach, I would start Kolb for the future, Mcnabb best days are long gone. Realistically, Reid will start Mcnabb.

By Samit Sarkar http://bulk2.destructoid.com/ul/160189-madden-innovative_header.jpg In a financial call with investors and press this afternoon, Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello went through a strong slate of games for the mega-publisher’s fiscal year 2011, which runs from April 1, 2010, through March 31, 2011. Among the list was a curious mention of “an innovative and new take on Madden.” What exactly that means -- whether Ricitiello was talking about this year’s Madden NFL 11, a possible successor to Madden NFL Arcade, or a new product altogether -- is unclear at this point. EA Tiburon’s Madden NFL games usually launch during the second week of August, so we could be seeing a radical change in the storied football franchise. Whatever Riccitiello meant, we’re willing to bet it’s the brainchild of Mark Turmell, who recently signed on as the Madden studio’s Senior Creative Director. Turmell will be working on both Madden and NCAA Football; in an interview on EA Sports’ Web site, he mentioned that he’s aiming to make the games more accessible: ... how to communicate rules/situations to the user, ways to make the game easier to pick up and play, how to make plays/moves more impactful and entertaining, and even the general pacing of a game to keep player attention. The industry and audience is changing fairly dramatically, and often times our customer is looking for a quicker, more streamlined experience. ... [H]opefully I can bring a little extra magic to the mix and our games will appeal to an even larger audience. Well, Turmell created Midway’s NFL Blitz series, so maybe he’s going to bring the rubber-band AI from those games into Madden. That’d draw in more fans, right? http://www.destructoid.com/ea-sports-bringing-an-innovative-and-new-take-on-madden--160189.phtml

I like how ea gives you the option to buy card coins...Who buys this stuff?

Favre is going to be in a rude awakening, 40+ years old and vikings have really misused him this season, his arm is going to fall off. Dallas is the better team and Romo is on fire. IMHO, vikings will be playing with uncertain emotion while the cowboys will be determined to prove the haters wrong. I expect this to be a really one sided game, where vikings will look flat on all phases.

Chargers have a lot of weapons, but rivers is a cocky [expletive]. Great defense>great offense, long as jets run the ball a lot and have zero turnovers, I am confident they can win.
-
Saints hit the wall and Cardinals playing one of their best ball. Im pretty sure the cards defense is gonna receive a lot of crap this week for their performance and will play much better next week. + how can anyone like saints fans and brees? Bunch of crybabies.

I love peyton but ravens will probably win. They had a close game if i remember back early in the season, but the ravens seem pretty hot right now. Hopefully I am wrong,If anyone, I would like to see peyton win it all.

Baltimore- I think they match up with the colts pretty well, and believe the benching of colt starters is gonna come back and hurt them especially after Baltimores big game against the patriots. Peyton will not look sharp and a bit rusty. I love peyton, but he has a knack of choking come playoff time. Jets- I really like the jets, one of my superbowl picks early in the season, I was impressed how they played the bengals the past 2 weeks. A good defense will always beat a good offense, as long as sanchez can remain turnover free, I believe we will have a close hard fought game. Ryan is an amazing head coach and is really bringing that bear defense to new york. San Diego has a lot of weapons, so its key sanchez does not force the ball and have turnovers, if this occurs San Diego will win, if not jets will. Arizona- Saints blow and have been garbage the past few weeks. Arizona is a hot team right now, and Warner is playing his top game. Dallas- Despite playing a weak uninspired giants team, vikings have been out of the slump lately. Cowboys have looked extremely sharp, and Romo is one of the nfl's top qbs. If the past shows anything of the future, favre will once again choke when the games on the line and throw a game ending interception, if the game even comes that close.

Well not saying you should get a bad gpa, its just college gpa in undergrad is vastly overrated. Unless you plan on going to a top grad school, a mediocre gpa will be fine as long as you know your material. A high gpa may help you with your first job, but who the hell stays with their first job for a long period of time? Once you build experience, you move on to a better higher paying job/position. 9 out of 10 times your employer wont bother with your college gpa, cause they could care less if you know what you are doing. Its all about connections and experience.
