"That Miami Finals really was a tough one to swallow," Jackson said before the Lakers won 96-91 on Saturday night in Dallas. "I think Wade averaged about 25 foul shots a game. You couldn't even touch him. That was really tough to swallow and I think he understood there's kind of a pecking order in this league and you keep your mouth shut at times.'' http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/nba/news/story?id=6211182

What a nice halftime ceremony, "when a bulls team goes to the finals, they just dont show up, they win it." MJ- "Don't be surprised if you have 6 more coming" I agree, this is a special bulls team, I can see a dynasty about to unfold for all of us.

jazz just seem lost, bulls on fire specially from the 3s.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of their first NBA Championship in 1991, the Chicago Bulls will welcome back former players and coaches from the 1990-91 season for a recognition ceremony during halftime at Saturday’s game versus the Utah Jazz. Bulls’ legends and Hall of Famers Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen will attend and participate in the celebration, along with John Paxson, Horace Grant, Stacey King, Craig Hodges, Will Purdue, Scott Williams, Cliff Levingston, Dennis Hopson and Assistant Coach Johnny Bach. Former Bulls’ broadcaster Jim Durham will emcee the halftime ceremony which will be broadcast live on WGN America. The 1990-91 team finished with a 61-21 record and won the NBA Championship on June 12, 1991 by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 4-1 in the NBA Finals. http://www.nba.com/bulls/history/20anniversary_199091.html http://www.nba.com/bulls/sites/bulls/files/jordan1_110312.jpg http://z.cdn.turner.com/dr/nba/teamsites/release/bulls/sites/bulls/files/team1991_110302.jpg?1299102863 http://z.cdn.turner.com/dr/nba/teamsites/release/bulls/sites/bulls/files/20thjordan_110302.jpg http://z.cdn.turner.com/dr/nba/teamsites/release/bulls/sites/bulls/files/20thpippen_110302.jpg http://z.cdn.turner.com/dr/nba/teamsites/release/bulls/sites/bulls/files/20thgrant_110302.jpg http://z.cdn.turner.com/dr/nba/teamsites/release/bulls/sites/bulls/files/20thjackson_110302.jpg

and a half a game from boston :glasses: we could really benefit from all homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs.

lol @ that study, be hard to enforce those test conditions. Anyway, I'm more of an ass man.

what a second half, d rose for mvp! That was insane.

Silly you, you should know better. Kobe always gets fouled, never fouls people & only loses games either because of his refs, his broken fingers, Pau Gasoft, Bynum, Blake, etc. This game it was pretty obvious the lakers lost due to the refs and bynum, once again. If it wasn't for that the lakers would probably be 82-0 every season. Damn stern, why does he always want the heat/other nba teams to win against the lakers, its not fair.

"[Dwyane] Wade fouled the s--- out of me," Bryant said with his feet dipped in a bucket of ice water after the game. Bryant was referring to the 3-pointer he attempted with 1:06 left and the Lakers down 90-88. "It was clearly evident," Bryant said. "They missed it. ... He fouled the hell out of me, they just missed it." Wade was credited with a block. "I couldn't make that, he hit my whole arm," said Bryant, who had made his previous two 3-point attempts at the time, including a long 28-footer to tie the score at 88. "That's why I went so short. ... I should have been shooting three free throws." Bryant said even Wade assumed he would hear a whistle after the play. "He was surprised they didn't call a foul," Bryant said. "He came out and said, 'I fouled the s--- out of you!'" Wade said after the game that he didn't foul Bryant. Said Lakers coach Phil Jackson: "They didn't see it and they didn't call it. What can you say?" http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/news/story?id=6204941

Well yeah, thats what I actually meant to say;p I can see this argument being true with other diseases/illnesses such as cancer/heart disease/diabetes, but dunno. "To prove his unorthodox belief that HIV is not the cause of AIDS, a Florida doctor Friday pricked his finger with a needle carrying blood that he said was infected with the virus. "This is not an act of bravery. This is an act of intelligence," said Dr. Robert Willner, who practiced medicine in North Miami Beach for 30 years until his license was revoked last March. "I'm not afraid of an innocent virus." Before a gathering of about 30 alternative-medicine practitioners and several journalists, Willner stuck a needle in the finger of Andres, 27, a Fort Lauderdale student who says he has tested positive for HIV. Then, wincing, the 65-year-old doctor stuck himself. Willner, who says he also injected himself with HIV-infected blood in Spain a year ago, claims to be one of many scientists who now reject the theory that HIV causes AIDS. " http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26vbwILsLsY just saying, i thought that was interesting, this was the third and final time he stuck himself with the needle, tho he ended up dying from a heart attack 6 months later..

Nah you're correct. Prescribing pills for life brings in a far greater revenue than what a simple one time procedure/cure may bring. If this is what really is going on. I'm just surprised that after 20+ years, their is still not one official document that says hiv causes aids, despite the health complications people experience.
-
I know there has been some courts throughout the world that declared hiv does not cause aids, and there has not been one document that proves hiv causes aids. There actually seems to be a big controversy on this subject online. Seems to be two groups, one group believes hiv causes aids and that you should be taking the proper medications, where the other group believes hiv does not cause aids and the main reason people die is due to azt and the hiv medications. They also believe big pharmaceutical companies are out to make the quick buck and dont want people to be cured, as they make a huge amount of money subscribing pills for life. Some say the reason the aids epidemic is big in africa is not due to hiv, but due to the sanitary/food/unhealthy living conditions people are exposed too. In the u.s, before the meds hit the market in the 80s, it was due to high risk homosexual sex/drug use/bad unsafe health habits. HIV testing also is not that accurate, and its seems many people are misdiagnosed. You can go to one clinic in California, be tested positive, and go to another clinic in canada, and become negative. There was no real FDA regulation on this testing either. Nether less, I'm not really sure i buy into this argument. Ive read people claiming different stories on both sides, how husband A took azt and is now dead, where wife who also has hiv+ never took the meds and is living 27+years. On other hand, people who don't take any meds end up really sick as their c4/t cells drop considerable and end up dying by opportunistic infections. Anyway, whats your thought on this? Does hiv cause aids? Or it a secrete way for the government to kill you?

I agree, just waiting for lupe to release a mixtape.

Jerry Reinsdorf: Bulls can win atleast 4 rings
reno replied to The Regime's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
right now, maybe, but within a few years im not so sure about that. Lakers/boston/spurs will be the decline. Only other teams i see that can put some good competition will be miami, knicks, okc/clippers. I also feel the heats have a shorter time span than what they would like to believe in. Knicks depending on what they can get and how this superstar trio works out. But as always, a lot can change in a few years. -
