  1. I voted Dwight. Shaq brought the Magic franchise to people's attention when we still new to the league, so I guess that's worth something. He made the finals, where he got swept. Dwight has also become a face of the league and is a popular player, and we made the finals with him and didn't get swept at least. He's more reliable, already having been here 2 years longer than Shaq was here. All you people saying "Shaq. Easy choice." Really? Is it that easy? I'd like to hear your reasons.
  2. Playing great right now, couple nice lobs to Howard and VC.
  3. Doug Christie Fran Vasquez.. if he counts, lol.
  4. Glad we at least put up a fight. Wish Carter wouldn't wait til the last 30 seconds of the game to make some shots. Looking forward to our next game against them in Orlando.
  5. I wonder if VC will give Kobe trouble like he has in the past. Although with his injuries, he might just have another bad shooting night. I hope we're prepared for this game.
  6. 5 movies I watched lately: American Psycho, Funny People, Man On Wire, Jackie Brown, The Virgin Suicides. They were all good, probably around 8/10's.
  7. Why is our bench better than our starters..
  8. Reminds me of this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chWQqk8OKyU
  9. You guys.. where is Love?! He has the best efficiency of any sophomore this season. ROOKIES: PG - Brandon Jennings SG - Tyreke Evans SF - Omri Casspi PF - Taj Gibson C - DeJaun Blair Bench: Stephen Curry, Ty Lawson, Johnny Flynn, Jonas Jerebko, James Harden SOPHOMORES: PG - Derrick Rose SG - OJ Mayo SF - Michael Beasley PF - Kevin Love C - Brook Lopez Bench: Marc Gasol, Russell Westbrook, Eric Gordon, Danilo Gallinari
  10. Only got to watch a few minutes before the stream went out. Seems like we'll just squeeze by with a win, hopefully, unless we play better in the 2nd half.
  11. Probably. Dwight always gets a lot of rebounds and blocks though, but offensively he has trouble against Boston.
  12. It made me sick when people would genuinely think he was the MVP of our team last season. It kinda sucks it's not working out in Toronto for him. I watched an interview with him a few days ago and he was saying how he asks his teammates "Give me one good reason why I'm here." and saying he hates the cold, idk, just seemed like he's accepted that he isn't gonna win many games and is just enjoying his money.
  13. If you're looking for comedy, honestly dude, Arrested Development is a great show. My favorite of all time. It's a smarter show than normal sitcoms, really clever stuff. Hulu has all of season 2 up. http://www.hulu.com/arrested-development
  14. Welcome, good to have another Magic fan. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a6/eyehatepop89/Random%20Pictures/Animated%20Gifs/SilentBobHeadbangGif.gif
  15. Game was pretty much decided in the 1st quarter, refs made some bad calls against us in the 1st. No excuses though. We should've been able to handle a depleted Pacers team. If only Vince could stop building brick houses during the game.
  16. Feel like the refs are against us this game. We'll see what happens though.
  17. Yes indeed. Good game. I can't believe VC led us in scoring, seemed like he was missing almost every shot. Nice to see Jameer back and playing well again. Ryan Anderson had a sick put back dunk, maybe the first time I've seen him dunk lol.
  18. Yeah I'm bout to go watch right now. So glad my bro has NBA TV since I'm staying at his place in ORLANDO. Maybe I should go sneak into the game.
  19. I found the quote... Wow, really offensive stuff. Honestly dude, are you kidding me? There isn't anything wrong with saying "He's a better pick-and-roll defender, probably, than Alonzo"
  20. What did he say? I thought I remember him saying something, but I thought I remember it being really complimentary, so if you could clarify...
  21. Idk.. I'm not seeing the same thing that other people are seeing. The cgi doesn't look very special to me. I don't like too much cgi in movies.
  22. I'm failing one class for sure, then hopefully a D in one class, and a C in another class. Damn I really sucked this semester.
  23. Let's just sit quietly and consider how ridiculous that statement is... We've only played one game with Jameer and Rashard playing at the same time, since right when Rashard came back, Nelson went out. Yes, J-Will was a good replacement for a while, but he's 34 and he's running out of steam. So we've been playing Anthony Johnson more these last three games, who is 35, and is ok at times but you never know how he'll play. Jameer coming back is a very good thing.
  24. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPNc2IeuW4w 1. Devin Townsend Project - Addicted. I've just gotten into this album the past few days and it is top to bottom a great album. All the songs are heavy and catchy. And the female vocals, which are on every song I think, are really feminine and powerful at the same time. I find some of the short lines in the lyrics to be really powerful and inspirational. The rest are close to each other: John Frusciante - Empyrean. A good album, listened to it a lot when I first got it, now barely listen to it. Not one of my favorites from him but still has some good stuff on it. Devin Townsend Project - Ki. Only listened to it once through, but it's good. It's a clean and calm sounding record in comparison to Addicted. I'll get into it once I'm ready to move on from Addicted. The Mars Volta - Octahedron. Haven't listened to it fully yet but from the songs I've heard it's been quite good. They wanted to do an acoustic pop album, and the songs are pretty catchy in my opinion. Mars Volta are always doing interesting and creative music.
