Golden State Warriors guard Acie Law got dinged up during a local basketball tournament Sunday.Law collided knees with another player during the 24th annual Dallas Fed X Pro-Am Basketball Classic. The Dallas native out of Kimball High School said he felt soreness in his knee and decided to sit out for his team's final two games Sunday out of precaution."I didn't want to keep playing with the situation in the NBA and then have something small like this grow into something big," Law said.Law played during the majority of the tournament despite playing in just 51 games last season with the Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies because of an injured right wrist. The former Texas A&M star underwent surgery to remove bone spurs in April that shelved him for the season. Former NBA star Alonzo Mourning will be cited by police for leaving the scene of a traffic crash in Miami Beach last week.The Florida Highway Patrol issued a report Monday saying Mourning is being issued a notice to appear in court for the second-degree misdemeanor of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
