UPDATE 2: Haslem fears his season is over
headliner replied to magicbalala245's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
Man that's a tough loss if he is out for a period of time. Bosh is going to have to take his game to a whole different level cause they have one less big on the roster. -
Oh God the raptors win! I didn't think this would happen but raptors come a way with a victory.
-
I think Barbosa was trying to foul there but manage to knock the ball out of Allen's hands
-
Weems has been taking some bad shots but he is still young the the toughest thing is consistency
-
You’re probably jumping for joy based on the fact you want a high draft pick
-
I don’t like evens at all he fidgets with the ball instead of passing it right away. I just think he hangs on to the ball to long after he rebounds the ball and he tries to make offensive moves in the post when he clearly isn’t capable of doing so. It’s like he doesn’t know his limits. He is paid just to rebound the ball and bring toughness not to be a scorer.

Bayless and Peja are not playing in this game. Their first game is going to be Wednesday against the 76ers.

It's going to be a very tough game for the raptors. They are going to get killed but Rondo is day to day and may not play today. To bad they raptors could have used Bayless and Peja now that the roaster is thin. This could be Weem's chance to play point guard for the the Raptors!

Explain to me what difference does it make if the raptors slowly incorporate Davis in every game slowly giving him more minutes as he feels more comfortable playing?

Peja, Bayless to TOR for Jack, Andersen, Banks
headliner replied to headliner's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
Well the raptors are 28th in the league in three point percentage and if healthy Peja can help in that area. -
Well with Anderson gone there is a good chance Davis wont be sent to the D league and he may get a decent amount of playing time.
-
I don’t know if you can have it both ways but I understand where your coming from for me I would love to see Demar just excel even if the team loses a lot. I want to see the offense run through him and his defense improve. Also like to watch the development of Davis which I can’t wait until he plays his first game.

Peja, Bayless to TOR for Jack, Andersen, Banks

Euro love is so over rated but I don't see Peja getting much playing time -
Peja, Bayless to TOR for Jack, Andersen, Banks
headliner replied to headliner's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
I think it’s clear that Peja is washed up and overpaid but that’s not the point of this trade if it goes down. The Raptors are losing Bank's $4.8 million dollar expiring contract and Andersen's $2.5 million dollar expiring meanwhile shedding Jack's roughly half million increase for the next season. This amounts to $7 million in expiring contracts if we were to keep the three players. If this deal does go down taking Peja's $14.25 million dollar expiring contract and adding Bayless' $0.7 million increase next season would allow the raptors to shed $13.5 mil in an expiring contract. Therefore we'd actually be lowering our cap space by about $6.5 million -
It’s a good thing if the raptors are winning personally I can’t stand watching a team lose the whole season just to get the number one overall pick especially since we’ve seen the lottery not won by the worst team in the league in the past couple of seasons. It’s not worth purposely tanking because the lottery could go the raptors way even if they’re 9th or 10th in the eastern conference.

Artest Wants Shot At NFL After NBA Career

What happen to Artest rapping career? -
Your team's most surprising and disappointing player
headliner replied to *Swish*'s topic in General NBA Discussion
Most surprising: I want to show some love for Demar but he still has a long way to go but Weems has been very surprising to me. Thus far he has shown that he is more than just a high flyer who can show his athleticism at will. He has improved his mid range jumper and he has also extended his range to the three point line. Sonny is shooting that three with absolute confidence and it's great to see. He ball handling has improved too. He is now able to take any defender to the basket and score. Speaking of scoring he has become a more efficient score to the point was he hit his first game winner ever in his career against the Magic. Most Disappointing: Jack has been disappointing for me. I think he is a total ball hog and he turns over the ball quite a bit. He looks for himself first and I really do think he has been playing some selfish basketball. He needs to become more of a creator for others do to the lack of talent on this team and I know he is capable of it. -
John Wall has been fantastic thus far he does have quite a few turnovers but that’s because of his lightening speed. He is playing in the toughest position and all he has done is impress and show everyone just how talented he is. Wizards have won more games thus far than the clippers so having Blake hasn’t made a difference as of yet.

Solomon Alabi D-League Tracking Thread
headliner replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
Absolutely agree, Solomon Alabi biggest impact will be on the defensive end and his length should make him a great shot blocker in the NBA. I just think his body needs to fill out and he needs to get stronger. He is just to skinny and he needs a lot more muscle. It’s great to see him start of well and I hope his confidence sky rockets. When he is ready to come back he will do the same things in a NBA game. -
I know Raptors fans want this team to tank but a win here and there isn't going to hurt the team in the very end. Raptors played an other bad team who is finding it difficult to win. I do believe come April the Raptors will have a top 5 pick.
