Expectations For Hedo Turkoglu?
headliner replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
I expect Hedo to help this team win a lot more games than last season and help this team make a run in the playoffs with his ability to shoot and create for him and others. I also expect him to be a leader on this team and I know it just going to be his first season but with his experience his leadership will to crucial to this team. I think he will be able to complement Bosh on the court and help Bosh be more effective on the offensive end. -
Chris Bosh Injured Hamstring
headliner replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
I think it’s something to worry about. If it’s just a strain it should heal in no time. The raptors are doing the right thing by resting him for the beginning of the camp. I believe Calderon’s situation was more serious then than this one so I would worry so much about it. It’s just a disappointment to hear about something like this when the season hasn’t started yet. -
Which Area Did The Raps Improve The Most?
headliner replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
It’s hard to say at this point when we haven’t seen this team even play. Now we have to look at how each individual player will affect the team or how each player address the team’s weakness. Last season this team lost a lot of games in the 4th quarters and quite a few games where 4 points or less which shows lack of offensive poise and lack of defensive intensity at the end of games. Hedo was brought in to address offensive poise by being able to create for him and for others. He is also a 3 point threat and he creates match up nightmares for opposing teams. I’m not sold on Hedo when it comes to defense but he did play for a top 5 defensive teams last season. Reggie and Wright both known for being tough defenders should help this team both in perimeter and interior defense. Rasho is also a solid interior defender who can also bang with guys like Dwight Howard. Amir Jonhson coming from Detroit learning from some of the toughest defenders could prove to be a tough defender. Jack brings overall toughness and he is an all-round solid player. I think the raptors brought in some solid players to help this team with overall toughness and defense. I think the raptors will be a better rebounding team because of the wing players that the raptors brought in I just believe they can do a better job of rebounding at their position. Guys like Jack, Demar, Wright and Marco can definitely help with long rebounds. The most important thing they improved on it talent. I just think that over the past few seasons there just wasn’t enough talent those teams and it just seems other teams were talented. Yes the raptors had a lot of skilled players but that did not make up for the lack of talent. I feel like we have a more talented group of guys with good skills and this team improved depth should cause good problems for the coaching staff and match up nightmares for other teams. Andrea, Chris and Jose should be much improved. I expect them to better than last season and I believe each of them have something to prove this season and it will be interest to see how well this team gels. However good or bad this season goes it will determine how successful BC was in rebuilding this team on the fly. -
Monta Ellis is a great ball handler and he has the great ability to get to the basket. He plays with great intensity and is able to create for himself and others. He is the type of player that other teams always have to worry about because he can put up big numbers against most teams in the league.

Nash: Players Shouldn't Be Judged On Titles
headliner replied to MainEv3nt's topic in Phoenix Suns Team Forum
I think if a player wins the NBA championship and especially if that player wins more than one it just justifies what they accomplished in their career. Meaning it gives their career more meaning. -

link No surprise here. They were heavy with point guards so I’m not surprise they waived him.

The spurs are the most consistent team in picking up solid players and to me this signing is no different. They picked up a solid roll player and he will help them win some games.

It's better than the green but it's still not that nice of a jersey to begin with

Artest: My fault if Lakers titleless in '10
headliner replied to magicbalala245's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Why is he trying so hard to put all the attention on himself? He needs to shut up and contribute to this team and try to repeat because everyone knows it’s not easy to repeat when every team is gunning for the Lakers. It’s should be about the Lakers not about Artest’s side show. -
It look fine to me but is this team going to change jerseys every two season or what?

I don’t think that Demar is the third best player in this draft but it’s hard to tell when none of these players have played a single game in the NBA. Demar does have the greatest potential in this draft class to be the one of the best players to come out of this draft but we will know for sure 3 years down the road when we look back at this draft. Some of these players may take the whole season to adapt to the league and a few players are able to contribute sooner in their first season. It’s a matter of the player being in the right situation and having the right attitude. Demar has the right attitude which is very impressive to me and Demar has a great opportunity to be very good this season because he is in the right situation and it’s up to him how things go.

Mom: LeBron James won't join Knicks
headliner replied to magicbalala245's topic in General NBA Discussion
If the Knicks were to get Lebron James I don’t see how it would be a bad move for the Knicks. It would definitely be a bad move for James to make because he would be leaving a team that has positioned themselves to contend for a NBA championship and if he were to remain a cavalier they would be contending for a championship for years to come. Lebron is just trying to put pressure on the franchise to get better and they have. Now it’s time to see whether or not it will work out for both Lebron James and the Cavaliers. -
Blazers sign Howard to one-year deal

Who hasn’t this guy played for? -
I’m on the same boat as you but I’m just going to take it one step further and just say he is insignificant until he gets on the court and back up what he is saying. When he is on top of his game he is definitely an exciting player to watch.
