i don't know much about euro ball, but isn't this olympiacos team like the lakers of euro ball? if so, than that gives iverson a good chance to add something else to his career. i don't think it would be a bad idea for him to go overseas and win a ring. he's not going to win one this season, so he might as well pick up a bit of money and keep his fanbase growing overseas. hey maybe in a few years he can come back to the nba and suit up for a contender.

i know pech was never really anything special, but do you think under flip he could have become a good system player for the wizards? i never really thought to highly of tapscotts or jordans iq, so maybe some decent coaching could have helped peaches if he was still a wiz. my fault for the offtopic. i think miller will get the most time at sg next season.

Lee Now Open To One-Year Deal With Knicks
billt chamberlain replied to The Goods's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
knicks are stupid. if they make him and unrestricted free agent he can just walk, and they won't be able to get anything in return for him. lee is a good player imo, and i wish the wizards could get ahold of him or millsap to play pf. -
not really a fan of either as drake reminds me of a fake wayne and cudi reminds me of a fake kanye. i like cudi more though. i just wish he could get on a song where he is just straight rippin it up and avoids all the singing and drawn out words and such.

Ever watched a horror film that is scary?

i fell asleep on some movie about a hotel room like 1428 or something, and everybody else was saying it was scary. it bored me and made me sleepy. -

Mom decapitates and eats 3 week old baby

this women has obvious mental problems and i find it amazing that she was able to conceive a child, give birth to it, and then keep it under her own supervision. before this incident happened, there had to be some signs of her shaky mental state that someone noticed. she's either crazy, or really wanted to make some homemade chili's baby back ribs. -
thats what kills me the most about our team. i've been waiting for the longest time to see how nick young, crittenton, and stevenson would perform paired up with gil, but now we have a logjam with miller and foye. i guess its a good problem to have more than enough, but still... flip keeps a small rotation too. im guessing its something like gil, butler, jamison, haywood, miller, foye, blatche, mcgee, oberto, mcguire.

i've hit 100 before, and i don't really like the feeling. sorry if i sound like slowpoke. i hardly ever do the speed limit though. going 80 in my car feels really smooth and nice, but pushing it to 100 makes me feel unsafe and feels like i can't control it as well as i'd like to.

Ever watched a horror film that is scary?
billt chamberlain replied to andreusito's topic in Movies and Television Forum
the only horror movie i was really ever scared of was child's play 2. now i look at it and laugh at how corny it is, but as a child i was scared of that movie. movies like friday 13, nightmare elm street, and halloween never interested me much or scared me much either. movies like saw just confuse me and make me go wtf movies like hostel and other blood gushers just make me pissed off that they call it horror and all it is, is a gore fest with crappy acting. the shining was cool and kept me interested, even though i wasn't scared. looking back at that movie and its setting and characters it would seem like a snooze fest, but it was a good movie. my favorite horror movie is the hitcher(old one) though. its not full of action, full of blood, full of gore, or full of plot twists, but its just something about that movie that makes me like it a lot. -
i agree with the op. i don't know what it is, but i guess i just grew out of video games. i used to play them religously as a kid and teen, but now i don't care for them at all. i don't know what it is though, the technology is great, the graphics are great, and the features are great but im just not interested anymore. i find myself playing tetris on my phone more than i play my xbox 360. back when i was 16 and 17 and working, every check i got i would buy like two video games, but now i hardly buy them. my brother plays my 360 like five hours every single day, so its not going to waste though. at least i got to play sonic, mortal kombat, street fighter, tekken, mario, and ninja turtles while coming up.

your a cavs fan, of course you would want him gone. he was the first to publicly call out lebron for what he is, and now the whole league see's lebron for what he is. people keep saying it was a mistake and idiot move for him to call out lebron because he's not as good as him, and that would make him mad, and those people are pussies. what kind of person wants to see one sports player back down and keep his mouth shut against another one just so he doesn't make him mad and awake some beast. anyways its not like lebron was going to take it easy on us if deshawn didn't say anything to him, he already proved that when him and gil were supposedly best buds and he pulled that stunt at the freethrow line. stevenson put up 11ppg when healthy, and i wouldn't mind that production again from him this season. im not against trading him though. if we could get korver, kapono, brewer, or willie green for him i'd be happy.
-
i was expecting stevenson to be moved after we made that trade. if he is still around for the season, i hope he can get back to form in which he hits open shots, and plays above average defense. people may not like him or his attitude, but he brought some attention to the wiz that we lacked for a long time. i hope you recover fully Dsteezy.

bowen is old, and won't be able to lock someone down on every defensive possession. him playing on the sixers and stopping someone from scoring maybe three times, won't be much of a deciding factor in if the sixers win or lose the game because there will be many more possessions where defense inst the main emphasis. a team like the celtics that takes their defensive stops and uses them to effect the outcome of the game would be a more ideal situation for bowen. just look at how great of a defender michael peitrus is. sure lebron still went off in the playoffs, but michael played him the best out of most of the players i've ever seen play defense on lebron, and pietrus did the same with kobe. in golden state im pretty sure no one besides maybe warriors fans thought pietrus was a good defender because all of his defensive plays were basically nullified in that fast disruptive tempo in golden state, just like how bowen would be in philly. it also doesn't help that the sixers are limited when it comes to jumpshooters and rely mostly on athleticism, youth and speed to get there's, so there's another negative for bruce bowen.

kanye gets influenced by everything around him, while michael influenced everything arouhd him. there really is no competition. kanye doesn't know if he wants to be a gangster(sometimes), backapacker, producer, rapper, pop artist, singer, fashion artist, normal person, hated person, etc. most of the times. he changes up way too often and shows that he is just trying to fit in by being different(which doesn't make sense, but it does). too many people are trying hard not to be normal now by being different that it makes them normal.

Eminem-The Warning (Dissing Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon)
billt chamberlain replied to MainEv3nt's topic in Music Forum
i like how em doesn't front and can even diss himself when dissing other people. too many rappers nowadays act like they never messed up in the past or got embarrassed or something and act like they was born as these popular guys that held [expletive] down soon as they dropped out the vag. anyways his opponent is a way past her prime, singer that isn't relevant anymore, but damn he went in. i like how he kept all the nick cannon lines short and sweet while still killing him. eminem is probably the last rapper alive that you would want to beef with on a lyrical level especially if he has dirt on you. this song > relapse album. -
my older brother and people a few years older than me were big wayne fans when i was younger, but i am more of a wayne from the carter one to the drought 3. it seems like wayne has always had a following though from kids that range in age from 14-19. i was a fan of his in high school when i was like 16-17. iirc my older brother was a fan of his when he was like 15-18, and now he is more mainstram, but still has a following of teenagers. he gets older, but his fanbase stays the same.(must be nice) he still has the ability to make decent songs, but i don't follow his music anymore.

7 Year Old Boy Takes Police On Chase
billt chamberlain replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in YouTube Forum
thats amazing. his turns weren't wild or dangerous and he keep the car relatively steady on the road. i doubt he has driven cars before, but he probably has previous experience with other motor vehicles in which his parents probably taught him how to drive. i love how he pulls into a wooded area and bails like most people do on cops when getting chased by the police. i thought it was going to be some huge big for his age seven year old, but he was just a normal little twig kid. -
if he went to philly that would be a waste of both(the franchise and bowen's) of their times. bowen would benefit from a reduced role on a team that has a good coach, some veterans, and some young upcoming stars. he has declined but can still play D, but it would just be wasted on a team like philly that plays at such a high tempo that defensive stops don't really equate to the outcome of the game. im not a big fan of george karl and i feel that billups has bailed him out and made him look like a better coach then he is,but i think the nuggets and bowen would be a good fit. he wouldn't have to do much besides come off the bench and provide some defense and some potential scoring(not much) and he would be on a contender. or maybe if mcgrady and yao could ever stay healthy he could be a healthy fit as a backup in houston. philly isn't a championship contender and they won't be one if they add bowen.

Well yesterday i made up a thread about how deep a team we really have that had a lot of thought put into it, that take a bit of time, but when i hit the post new topic button my computer acted crazy and i lost all of it. now i'll just have to give a shortened version of what i wrote. basically the wizards have the potential to be one of the deepest teams in the league with players such as crittenton, foye, miller, young, blatche, mcguire, and mcgee all playing as backups. some might say who the hell is nick young, crittenton, blatche, mcguire, or mcgee, but if you are a wiz fan you know what they can bring to the table. nick brings a poor man kobe's scoring game to this team. when he's hot there's no stopping him with his mix of speed, strength, size, athleticism, and offensive capabilities. of course he also has cons to his game like lack of defense(although its improving), iq, and shot selection that got revealed last season when he got playing time, but he won't be a starter this season, so that shouldn't hold him back too much. crittenton is a highly athletic pg that hustles and looks to make the play for his teammates instead of shooting(nice opposite to gil to have as backup)i would say he is a better version of antonio daniels, but doesn't have his savvy yet. daniels was a horrible defender, and crittenton has made strides on defense. he won't kill you with his jumpshot, but he has the handles and speed of other young dynamic pg's like rondo and rose. i don't know much about foye, but the guy averaged 16 and 4 last season, so that obviously means he can score and create for his teammates. miller is a guy that led the league in three pointers for a season just like gilbert has. he is a proven veteran that knows how to play the game. mcguire can play the sg-pf spots. his jumpshot is shaky, but he is a really solid player that rarely makes costly mistakes. last season he played the bulk of his time at sg on offense, and defending the other teams best players and also defending sf's and pf's. he is strong, has a crazy work ethic, and very versatile. im hoping he has a breakout season like trevor ariza did with the lakers. blatche is still blatche. mister inconsistent, but now he doesn't have to battle with minutes and now he has a coach that isn't an idiot. if you look at the numbers from blatche's career closely, you will see that when given the time on the court he can produce solidly. he plays more like a guard than a pf which frustrates me most of the time, but he is 7 feet, and i think can be molded to play more like a pf under flip. mcgee and oberto are still question marks to me as backups at the center spot, but hey its better having them as backups than a combo of etan thomas, micheal ruffin, and calvin booth. in conclusion, we may not have the most well known bench in the nba, but its definitely filled with players taht can make an impact on the game. our last season was horrible but at least some of our backup players got to see what it took to be a starter in this league and that will help them next season. if you put crittenton, nick young, mcguire, blatche, and mcgee on the hornets, the hornets would probably seriously compete for a championship. this is just a little representation of how strong i think our bench possibly is. a team like the hornets with chris paul is great, but they lack enough depth to go far in the playoffs, and with the right backups they would compete. now im not saying the hornets are bad, but their starting five isn't all that impressive after cp. we got gil, caron, and tawn to work with. what do you all think about our bench?(hopefully some non wiz fans will respond also)
