Do you believe in extraterrestrial life?
billt chamberlain replied to JWaLL's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
also, isn't there some type of thing in which because of the speed of light we may see other planets how they have looked thousands of years ago, but they currently don't really look anything like that. i just remember hearing or seeing something that says how we see either the sun or another planet is how it looked like years in the past because of the distance light has to travel to earth before we can see it. can someone shed any light on this? it would be weird if we could actually see a planet that looks dead and empty, but thats a view from thousands of years ago and not its actually currently sprawling with lifeforms. sorry if im not making sense to some of you. -
yes, this is what the nfl needs. give the paying fans some entertainment sometimes.

uhmm, shave it i guess. that guy in the first post needs to brush his teeth.

sine this is an update thread, i'll post a few questions i have. is it just me, or does everyone have to hit the edit buton twice just to edit a post? and does it take long for anyone else when they click in the fast reply box before it opens up full size and you can actually start typing? not really big deals though.

^^^^haha yeah, that will show him and stop the circle of online [expletive]s....... -
i never said you was dissing my thread, and who'd get upset over a thread? if you really look closer, you will see that i took the clear cut best player from each draft class(durant, rose, griffin) and just filled in the blanks around them. this wasn't some masterplan to pick the best players available at every position. 09 is still a crapshoot because none has played in the nba yet, but i still picked the players anyway. and just because nba.com says someone is better than another doesn't mean its fact. i could see people disputing this thread if i left out one of the players like rose, griffin, or durant from a draft class though and put someone else in their place.

lebron. he doesn't deserve to be it, but he is already treated like he is in the same conversation as hall of famers. kobe hasn't been the face of the nba for a while now imo. ever since his incident in colorado it seems like the nba has tried to ditch him and even make him look like a villain at one point, but with his undeniable talent he always in the conversation among fans. in 06 lebron was still more popular than wade, but i felt like they were trying to make wade the posterboy. but right now its lebron regardless of all the negativity surrounding his actions lately.

because i made the thread. and really are conley, stuckey, and sessions that big of upgrades over acie law? the guy hasn't even had a decent chance to prove himself yet because of his old horrible coach mike woodson, but he is talented. anyways 08 seems the clear choice, but i think with the exception of rose, the 09 class could become better. all based off potential i can see them like this brandon jennings- baron davis, steve francis, stephon marbury james harden-mith richmond, gilbert arenas, demar derozan- vince carter blake griffin- amare stoudemire hasheem thabeet-mutombo

Washington Wizards Fanbase
billt chamberlain replied to Real Deal's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
Year You Became a Fan:when i was like 6 and i got a bullets jacket and gloves in the wintertime, but officially in 00-01 Why You Became a Fan:local team, loved basketball, didn't know much about the nba and thought it would be a good chance to finally learn. oh yeah michael jordan Favorite Wizards Player, All-Time:tie between gilbert arenas and jahidi white Favorite Wizards Coach, All-Time:don't have one. :/ Favorite Wizards Moment:when gil dropped 60 on the lakers. a prime defensive beast kobe was guarding gil that night, and gil just shredded the lakers up that night. no one could guard him. i also like it because before that gil's career high was 48 points and i was like man i really wish i get to see the game live when gil breaks 50 points and i did, and he went for 60. that night kobe dropped 45, but gil was the better overall player that game imo. Amount of Wizards Games Attended:none, but i plan to change that this season. i gotz a car and dc isn't far from baltimore. -
if you were a gm right now, and you had the opportunity to be able to pick any one of these squads to choose from to build a new franchise around in five years which would you pick and why? obviously some might say in five years the 07 draftee's will have had the most experience, but that doesn't neccesarily mean they will automatically trump the other squads. oh yeah, don't get all technical and ask where are the bench players and blah blah blah. 07 draftees pg-acie law sg-corey brewer sf-kevin durant pf- al horford c-oden 08 draftees pg-rose sg-oj mayo sf-beasley pf-anthony randolph c- brook lopez 09 draftees pg- brandon jennings sg- james harden sf-demar derozan pf-blake griffin c-hasheem thabeet

wow, he isn't talented as pau, but i've been a fan of his since i first saw him. he's a bruiser. i wouldn't mind giving up mcgee and oberto for him. he def looks more toned now than in the past.

Who should start? Miller, Foye, or Deshawn?
billt chamberlain replied to JWaLL's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
exactly. foye is sort of in the same mold of arenas, in which he's a scorer that needs the ball in his hands to be effective. you can't have gil and gil jr both starting and expect the chemistry to be right, although i wouldn't mind seeing gil at the 2 and foye at the 1 in some situations. if we can depend on stevenson to play pg and gil play sg(done it plenty in the past) than im sure foye can do it. im a big supporter of jcritt so it pains me to say this, but i think our second unit should be something like this. pg-foye sg-young sf-mcguire pf-blatche c- oberto. that doesn't leave much minutes for critt, so maybe we can twerk it and have it like this sometimes pg-jcritt sg-foye sf-young pf-blatche c-oberto -
man i thought this thread was about the fast food restaurant that got closed down years ago.

Are you shy in real life?
billt chamberlain replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
always around new people. its not because i'm scared, its just that i don't have any history with you. once i get to know people im not too shy, but that has been the type of person i have been forever. i just hate it when im just minding my business and people call me shy though. -
Who should start? Miller, Foye, or Deshawn?
billt chamberlain replied to JWaLL's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
why isn't he a better scorer than foye? foye's third year in the league he averaged 16.3 ppg, and miller's third year in the league he averaged 16.4 ppg. i wouldn't say one is hands down better than the other, so there's room for discussion. miller's career high in points is 45, and randy's is 36. still not that big a difference, but its not like randy has him beat. millers personal record for field goals made is 16, while foye's is 13. miller's personal best for three pointers made in one game is 9, while foye's is 6. for his career miller is 46% from the floor 40% from three and foye is 42%from the field and 37% from three. for you to just write lol foye is a better scorer with no justification just really doesnt make any sense -
Rockets to workout Peter John Ramos
billt chamberlain replied to Zero's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
^^^i'm not really sure, but i find it weird that a 7 footer couldn't prove himself to get playing time over brenda(back then he didn't deserve the "n" at the end of his name) and etan "same height as ben wallace, but only 1/50th of the player" thomas. maybe it was poor coaching decisions or maybe he just wasn't that talented. maybe another wiz fan on here can inform you about him, because i really don't know much about him. -
pg-j kidd. would be nash, but he's clueless on defense sg-rip hamilton sf-shane battier pf- tim duncan(no competition) c-shaq.

too bad things never worked out with him and the wizards. well he has height, and the rockets will be without yao, so i hope he can bring something to houston.
