  1. meh, i find all teams in the nba boring to watch unless its the wizards most times. with that said im looking forward to us playing: cavs celtics magic lakers heat knicks thunder. gil vs gil 2.0(harden) clippers javale mcgee will poster griffin again nuggets melo always tries to shine against the wizards because he knows the games are broadcast back here in baltimore
  2. haven't gone for a minute. maybe been two or three times in the past five years. when i was like 13 and it was summertime and i was bored, i would go to the library sometimes because it had air conditioning and i could get on the computers. anyways one time my computer was broke and i had to print something off a computer so i went to the library and it changed a lot. all you used to have to do was sign in on this sheet of paper for a slot to get on the computer but now you use some card and everything is digital. and you used to just pay the lady at the front like 10 cents for every paper you printed, but now you gotta have money on some type of prepaid card or something. there was all these kids in there, and i was just like [expletive] it and left.
  3. Alrighty, its pretty weird that our team has had the privilege to face the cavs three times in a row the last three years we made the playoffs. my question is, if the wizards make the playoffs would you rather us continue our little traditional feud with the cavs and play them in the first round, or play a different team eastern team in the first round. this is purely from a fans point of view. its pretty arguable that the cavs will have a top two spot next season, so that would mean the wizards would have to finish 7th or 8th to matchup against them, and i would be pissed if we don't at least make it to the fifth seed, so thats why this thread is purely from a fans point of view. if the wizards are the real deal(lol) and the cavs are still favorites to go far in the east than we could eventually end up facing each other in the ecf(i think, remember im not going by seedings for this thread), so facing the cavs in the ecf might be a more entertaining matchup than the first round like we have been accustomed to. im all for this feud and have and still believed that we have had the better team each and every time we played them, so it grinds my gears that i look back and we are 0-3 against them, and it would make me happy to knock them out of the first round on national tv. but, im still sort of sick of seeing lebron and his lackie's all the time, and wouldn't mind versing another team like the hawks, celtics, magic, heat, sixers, etc. just to see where we are as a team and see if we can actually compete in the playoffs. so would you rather us go against the cavs in the first round, or see whats it like to go against a different team for a change?
  4. befoer every season i always say, this is the season in which we get at least 50 wins, and make it at least to the ecf, but it never turns out that way. i believe we have all the tools in place to go far. i mean when we had freakin etan thomas, calvin booth, awvee story, chucky atkins, jarvis hayes, etc. on our team i thought we could do damage and now we are really upgraded over those scrubs. people didn't give us props when we were first in the east at the all star break, so i don't expect them to give us props especially after a 19 win season. all i gotta say is get ready for the bandwaggoners.
  5. no i was never a fan of pills. i don't even like takin them when i get headaches or when im in pain. one time i did eat like a whole bottle of gummy children chewable vitamins and felt sick. im not sure if eating like 30 of them was good for the body....
  6. i've known warren 2the G for about four years now. i've even been in his house before, but he doesn't know it yet..... just kidding. probably my main manz andreusito from nbad. well technically if it wasn't for bft i would have never joined a forum(didn't even know what they were until he messaged me on youtube), so probably bft the longest. but im familiar with ATDI, Real Deal, BFT, and Andre.
  7. q tip ft. raphael sadiqq- we fight we love. goat song.
  8. gives a gives a new meaning to the saying going to hell with gasoline drawers on.
  9. they really do. i'll see some of them on from time to time and just be like wtf is going on, when did writers and animators lose talent.
  10. if amare was out for the season, the suns would probably pull a wizards and decline greatly. he is a big part of why the suns have been successful and without him you lose a major cog in your system. not to overrate him, but for a big man his offensive game is really impressive although it still needs work. his defensive game is piss poor though, but he can get away with it in phx. lamarcus aldridge is not on the same level as stat, but if the suns somehow got LMA and outlaw from the blazer, i think the suns could pick it up and be a bubble playoff team.
  11. no im comparing drake to wayne because he has that lazy, screechy, punch line, arrogant flow that lil wayne has had the past few years, and if you listen to best i ever had without knowing who was on it, you would think it's wayne rapping. kudi just seems to be part of that phase of rappers that say they aren't going to be gangster, so i'll be weird, but they aren't really qualified for that. if you look at a few cudi youtube vids from a few years ago before he was famous, he can be seen rocking baggy clothes and acting "hood", but now he is this weird guy that wears really tight clothes.
  12. ^^^basically mcguire is our james posey. the only amazing stat from him you will see consistently on a box score is his rebounds. a few seasons ago i thought out of our young three(blatche, young, and mcguire), dmac would be the first one sent packing. he lacked handles and a jumper, but he does so many other things on the court and his hustle simply made him better than the natural talent nick young and blatche put out on the court. in college he averaged like 3.5 blocks a game( i think), and defense is his most strong aspect. i know summer league is nothing compared to the regular season, but from the summer league of 08 his jumpshot really stood out as a part of his game, but during the regular season it wasn't consistent at all. he isn't ben wallace on offense though, and is learning how to cut and shoot better. in order for you to really get a grip of him, you would have to watch a wizards game(no torture), and you would see how he impacts the game without showing up on the score sheet. him and singleton from the mavs remind me of each other and had a nice little battle when we played the mavs last season. both are limited offensively, but athletic as hell and can rebound the ball like madmen. his confidence is rising, and with that he should be able to bring other things to the table. he is a sf, but multiple times last season he would play sg, or even a bit of poing guard. i currently see him lasting longer on the team than blatche or young.
  13. wtf i would have never imagined that the cavs had the third highest payroll in the league. lebron isn't even getting max money yet is he? wow for a team spending that much, the personnel just seems awful. im not really for the idea of the rich teams being able to sign whomever they want cough, gasol, odom, artest, kobe, cough, but the cavs just look really stupid if they are the third highest in the league and they only have lebron on their team lol.
  14. @bft^^^yeah, since weare weak at the sf spot, miller could slide there and provide relief to butler and that would create room for another sg to get minutes. iq wise nick isn't dumb as a brick, but he isn't too far off from gerald green, so he has to put it together soon if he wants to make it in this league. stevenson started all 82 games for three straight seasons and if he feels he is back in business, i think he would put up a fuss for his starting spot back, thus leaving foye and young to battle for minutes, which like you said isn't a bad thing.
  15. list some of your favorite cartoons that you enjoyed as a child. hey arnold magic schoolbus simpsons recess tarzan(lolz) jumanji(lolz) tom and jerry the old scooby doo roadrunner and wolf show. way more for me to list, but i'll keep it short for right now.
  16. if you want beef than bring the ruckus billt chamberlain ain't nuthin to [expletive] wit.

  17. oh man, thanks for that. this news makes my day lol. now that i know this project and the big l documentary are still on i can look forward to some good stuff in the future.
  18. im also concerned about our pf spots. jamison is a soldier, but if he goes down and we have blatche as the main option that doesn't sit easy in my mind just yet. i wish the wiz would have picked up wilcox or mcdyess.
  19. i was really pulling forh im in that three point contest so he could get his face out there to a wider audience but things just didn't happen the way i thought it would. i honestly thought he could go perfect in one round lol. crazy thing is that i used to hate roger because all he ever did was shoot, and would never drive the lane or finish around the rim and he just added those dimensions to his game in the season in which he helped lead us to the playoff berth without gil. spur are looking really good to have mason, gino, and jefferson as their swingmen.
  20. ah man i got so much respect for roger mason jr, and i was really pulling for him to win a ring in san antonio last season. great great shooter. his form looks as though he's never going to miss. he stepped up big in washington and i will always remember him for that. i think on that gil vs stevenson three point video, if you listen in closely at one point they talk about how roger beat gil in a three point shootout.
  21. ima go with one of my favorites and say the warriors. i think a modernized version could be good as long as hollywood doesn't have full control over it. the plot is simple enough to make another one. small gang travels a long way to a meeting in which chaos happens, they get framed, and have to make their way back to their hometurf while battling countless other gangs out to get them at all costs. i thought a remake was in the works that was going to involve actual gang members from california but im not sure anymore.
  22. i could care less who wins, all i know is that nick cannon is losing. hahahaha
  23. i had it beofe, and i didn't like it. everytime i went in the fridge and saw it sitting in that container i wanted to throw up.
