Like others said, you would have to rule out anything that could potentially injure a player. No block, no steals, etc. Blocks have the potential to knock someone's head off. Steals have the potential to knock someone in the balls. If player A is face-guarding and hits player B, then it's a foul. It's against the rules in most of the lower leagues because you have to limit the players from themselves a lot more than the NBA players.

I don't think Joey is a bad referee in all senses. He's good at making difficult calls. I'd say he's one of the best. He'll make mistakes just like anyone else but I'd say he gets the majority correct. That's all you can ask for. His temper is well documented, but it's something you have to live with sometimes. I think Stern needs to reign in that part of his officiating, but everything else is above par. Since I've refereed for 4 years of my life I know what it takes to do it. For the most part he gets the job done.

I don't think it's interference for these same reasons. Since no one had possession it isn't necessarily a shot attempt. We'd have to check the rules on that, though.

Truthfully, we have to see what LeBron does in the next two-three years to really know, but for now he'd definitely be the sidekick to both. Not like he would be that much of a sidekick anyway. As B said it'd be like two Batmans.

Mavs and Spurs shouldn't be left out for sure. Mavs with Kidd, Marion, Dirk and Spurs with RJ, Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, Parker, and McDyess. This discussion really benefits the older teams of the league no doubt.

It'll be LeBron, and I don't think it'll be close. Durant is playing more of a Reggie Miller type game right now on offense. Running off screens and trying to get open. As far as running the team's offense, he isn't there yet. LBJ can and does do everything. And he'll do it at a more efficient rate in 3 years. He'll still only be 28.

Can't wait. Hopefully they keep it simple and make it another great one.
