Could Tracy be back sooner than we thought?
Revis Island replied to Dash's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
T-Mac never has been and never will be the foundation or the face of the franchise, It's plain and simple, It's obvious that Morey has been attempting to build this team around Yao and make T-Mac the 2nd option, too bad T-Mac is too much of a selfish [expletive] to realize that's his best way of winning. -

Against the board? You mean against a bunch of delusional Tracy McGrady fans? Ha, I don't need to explain anything to you, go on any Mega-Rocket fan site and they'll explain the same [expletive]. Sorry, but T-Mac is a loser, anybody knows this, Anybody. I'm talkng about Real Rockets fan, unlike most people here. -
Who has been the biggest loser this decade?
Revis Island replied to Revis Island's topic in General NBA Discussion
Repped. B) This guy has been nothing more than an underachiever in this decade, but just like Allen Iverson, they are in love with his flash. Both of those guys are just modern day versions of Pistol Pete, both losers who are flashy but suck at winning. Oh and Should I remind that this idiot, took the Lakers to win the championship last season? Even if you do think the Lakers are going to win, there's no reason why you should actually pick them, over your team when they were still in the playoffs, when your lazy dumbass couldn't even get them that far. -

Nobody is hating on T-Mac, because everybody knows he sucks. Anybody who's IQ is above room temperature knows that T-Mac is more done than dinner and is a soft loser, but that is if their IQ is above room temperature. -
Best center in the league baby.

Yep, nothing left. Sorry, It's not my fault Tracy McGrady is just a [expletive] who doesn't know what the term winning means. -

You really think T-Mac had anything to do with the defense? It's obvious you don't watch Rocket games if you think that, He's a lazy [expletive] defender, When or when not healthy. I've already granted you that T-Mac wasn't healthy last season, but tell me when was the last time he even played defense? 2005? Because he was healthy in 2007, he just sucked at defense, wouldn't rebound and was to scared to attack the basket. Honestly, it seems as if you are just incredibly biased for Tracy McGrady, he's a soft loser and it seems you don't understand that -

How about the fact that, he doesn't hustle for [expletive]? Or how about he doesn't play defense for [expletive]? And how about the fact that he is one of the most athletic players in the league and most of the time he just settles for 22 foot 2 pointers, even Charlie Rosen called this guy a softie. He's soft in the same sense Vince Carter is soft. I've never seen this guy ever fight for the boards EVER, either. -

You're right, because Regular Season > Playoffs..... I'd take a healthy Vernon Maxwell over both, so I really don't care. -

You're right, It's all about the points, [expletive] winning, It's so 80s. -

Ron brings something that makes Kobe Bryant separate himself from each every other wing player in the 2000s decade. INTANGIBLES, TOUGHNESS, HEART, etc...... Ron has all of those 3 things, what does T-Mac have in those 3? Nothing, He has nothing in a Man's body, because he's a girl. Ron doesn't even need to impact the game by scoring or defending, he can impact the game just by his presence and intimidation, who the hell is intimidated by T-Mac? -

Maybe Top 5 Softest players in the playoffs. Sorry, but T-Mac obviously tries a bit harder in the playoffs, but it still doesn't help his team win so it doesn't matter. But if you want to take a look at his lack of killer instinct go see the 2005 Playoffs Game 7 or 2003 Playoffs Game 7. He plays harder in the playoffs, but I want a player showing up each and every night. -

Yeah, I doubt it. Ron and T-Mac would not co-exist. Especially since during the season, Artest called out T-mac for being a lazy [expletive] defender which he clearly is by the way. She-Mac is an utter failure. Sorry, but you have to earn to win. He has no killer instinct, easily the softest player in the game, actually 3rd softest behind Big Z and Chris Bosh. -

I'm sure Morey also felt good about Francis' progress...McGrady carried to every single playoff appearance? Yeah too bad he failed miserably in the end and he ended up crying, I've had it with this loser, I'm done with his stupid constant antics and his stupid bull[expletive] of him talking out of his [expletive]. There's nothing weird about why the Rockets managed to get to the 2nd round without him. -

His heart hasn't either since 2003. -

And by healthy you mean his prime? Sorry, but his best days are way behind him, healthy or not healthy. -

Nope, You can just say I have been disappointed for a long [expletive] time with him. This guy is nothing more than an underachiever if you are a Rockets fan, you would know. I don't know if you are or not, or whether you are some Tracy fan, but he is just a loser plain and simple. I'd honestly say Tracy McGrady is just a modern day version of Pistol Pete, somebody who can't win but puts up flashy numbers and puts himself on Sportscenter frequently. -

No that's more like you. I'm not from Houston, Ok. And.....? His Greatness is and he's not even a Rockets fan. Sorry, but unlike you I actually know how good T-Mac is and he sucks. T-Mac for MVP!!! -

He has heart, I remember in those Kings-Lakers series, he was willing to guard Shaq. That's balls right there too, If that was T-Mac he would piss his pants and fake an injury. -
Before anybody rips on Barkley's defense, Let me get this straight with you guys.... The reality is he could play defense when he was inspired enough to do so and motivated enough. Obviously, Barkley did not have the best attitude and the best plan to stay in shape, but as far as abilities goes, he could play defense. If you see Kobe Bryant today or Tracy McGrady a couple of years ago, their defense was exactly like Barkley's, somebody who could play defense whenever they felt like, but most of the time they were just lazy and had too many responsibilities to do.
-
Not really.....I mean wouldn't Kobe lock down Turkoglu on defense if he really wanted it? Just wasn't so much of his job. I love how people constantly make excuses where Kobe Bryant can be the best defender in the league when he feels like, but when people defend Shaq for being a good defender when he wants to be, that's not allowed for some reason? Not hating on Kobe, because you like him, but if you understand my point. You shouldn't punish another player for having very good capabilities but doesn't use them because of too much responsibility.

Yahoo's Top 10 Defenders of the Decade
Revis Island replied to Erick Blasco's topic in General NBA Discussion
Pretty good list, though Shane is too high, I love him but he's not ahead of Timmy D.
