If you could wish an injury upon a player on your team
Big Penny replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in General NBA Discussion
if it had to be a serious injury, and on a starter, i would wish for d-fish to miss the whole reg. season so he is rested and ready to make some clutch shots during the playoffs -
basketball by miles only other sport i remotely care about is american football. i dont mind playing (english) football video games (only because i can play as my home team). ill watch just about any sport on TV tho.

i would wish for DJ mbenga or tony gaffney (no offense to either of them, just the ppl who get the least PT) to get a strained ear lobe or something so whoever it is misses about half a quarter. -

lest pretend that pheonix held onto their top players. imagine this: PG. Steve Nash SG. Leonadro Barbosa SF. Joe Johnson PF. Shawn Marion C. Amar'e Stoudemire with Raja Bell and Grant Hill of the bench? that team would own... quite a small team, but they would be running so that may work to their advantage :o

Big Penny replied to Sun Tzu's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
"He's a natural there. He's just small," Nelson said. im not to sure he understands the term "small forward" -

work on offensive awareness + defensive awareness... that gets your OVR rating up and then teams will want to take you on.

"now, can you tell me which team managed to get to the conference finals, despite playing on the road the whole way?" "and that doesn't hide the fact that the team got to the conf. finals whilst bieng lead by a rookie QB and playing every game on the road?" i posted them aswell, guessing you didnt see 'em
-
but what about last season, where they did well too? i know what your getting at, i chances are willis aint gonna finish first, but right now, he is. and you gotta live for the present B)
-
so if some rookie QB throws for 0 TDs and 10 ITs and leads his team to a 0-3 record that means we shouldn't assume hes a bad player? yeah, right. and that doesn't hide the fact that the team got to the conf. finals whilst bieng lead by a rookie QB and playing every game on the road? and when do these achievements start counting? is there a certain week or something? leading the league in TDs scored, desipte not even bieng a starter is impressive... even if youve only played 3 games. and in just over 24 hours Joe Flacco will have lead his team to a 4-0 record in his 2nd season. http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/8076/raylewiswacko0.png
