  1. It's Curry. Leads the league in real plus/minus. The team is drastically different without him on the court. I've watched every single Warriors game this year and a handful of Rockets games too. To the national media, the Warriors bench and supporting cast is amazing. In reality, it's overrated. Thompson has been inconsistent, Green isn't a reliable scorer, Barnes sucks, Bogut can't score like most centers in the league. Warriors also swept the Rockets in the regular season, which should make Curry's case stronger. And 67 wins in the West and to dominate the way Golden State has, I can't see how it's not Curry.
  2. Hawks and Cavs both sweep. Raptors in 7. Bulls in 5. Warriors in 5. Rockets in 7. Spurs in 7. Grizzlies in 6.
  3. Rooting for Michigan State at this point.
  4. Supposedly that injury KD had(has) is career-threatening and could be with him for the long term. I've always thought Westbrook had more of a killer instinct but Durant was the better player. Not sure anymore, though.
  5. Good stuff, man! Where was this at? I was stoked when I met Steph Curry for the first time.
  6. Well... this hasn't turned out too great, lol.
  7. Supposedly this injury isn't as bad as the previous few, but man... can this guy catch a break? It's been sad to witness. I really hate comparing any situation to the Brandon Roy one and I hope Rose doesn't fall down the same path. Although he's been hurt, he was able to have some good moments this season and put up a few good games together when he put away the rust.
  8. Warriors didn't deserve to win in Cleveland. Missed way too many free throws and didn't do well defensively for most of the game. Tough back end of a back to back now in Toronto facing a Raptors team that obviously wants to put an end to their struggles. I'll be surprised to see the Dubs win this one.
  9. Who do you guys have? Steph, Harden, LeBron or Westbrook?
  10. Everyone seems to have disappeared.
  11. I doubt we can get back to the level we were at instantly. With most people that were regulars not having as much interest and with social media like Twitter, it is harder. I still love the concept and hope we can grow back to what we were.
  12. Going to be hard for the Patriots to overcome the momentum that the Seahawks gained by winning in the way that they did against the Packers. But if any team can stop them, it's New England. I have Seattle by a TD, if that.
  13. Raptors vs. Warriors at Oracle Friday night in what can be a shocker NBA Finals preview lol.
  14. Josh Smith and Dwight Howard? Yikes. Can they both stay on the floor at the same time late in close games? Neither can shoot free-throws at all.
  15. Andre Iguodala’s statistics do not stand out. In fact, he’s averaging career lows in most offensive categories. It’s easy to write him off based on stat sheets and by looking at his player-friendly contract. Many people do it. Go ahead and get mad at him for passing on some shots, making a few questionable passes, and his horrid free throw shooting, but you can not deny the significance he has had and continues to have on the Golden State Warriors. Despite starting in over 800 games during his electrifying 10 year career, Steve Kerr has decided to have Iguodala play the 6th man role for the Dubs this season. Harrison Barnes was benched last season in favor of putting Iguodala in the starting lineup; Barnes struggled heavily. Going through a massive sophomore slump, the Warriors were worried that keeping Barnes on the bench again this year would further stunt his growth. Coach Kerr made sure that did not happen to the former North Carolina star. http://www.sportsonstc.com/?p=13431
  16. Will we see Steph Curry on it?! Haha.
  17. 16 in a row feels good. So does 21-2. But I don't expect Golden State to win in Memphis. Struggles against them and on the road without David Lee (again). Congrats to Kobe. Been a pleasure to watch him growing up and it'll be a sad day when he decides to retire.
  18. Pretty shocking considering the Kings have done well this season, compared to their expectations.
  19. They will get in as a 7 or 8 seed. I hope the Warriors do not face them in the first round..
  20. Thanks! I know Lee could be an option for you guys and would be a nice expiring contract in a year too. The Warriors were shopping him earlier but not sure how the contracts would work. I posted an article on the Raptors Reddit page in the offseason saying the Raps needed a legit PF but everyone was getting pissed at me saying that Amir is a legit starter lol. I'm still not sold on him. I know a lot of fans have been wanting Milsap. He would be ideal.
  21. Controversial was the most popular word to use to describe the moves the Golden State Warriors made and did not make this offseason. Those talks have simmered down. The media, fans, and half of the Warriors front office were all eager to team up Stephen Curry with disgruntled star Kevin Love. That did not happen. The players were so into Mark Jackson that everyone expected the Warriors to retain him as head coach. That did not happen. Instead, Klay Thompson was kept and eventually given a max-contract while Steve Kerr was hired prior to the season to lead the Dubs to heights they were not able to reach under Jackson’s reign as coach. While Thompson is emerging as the best two-way guard and overall one of the better shooting guards in the NBA, coach Kerr has the Warriors cruising. Jackson built a good foundation for a team that is filled with talent. Kerr is now utilizing all his tools. That would explain the Warriors 9-2 start a month into the season; the first time that’s happened since 1972-1973. Their two losses? One in Phoenix against the Suns on the back end of a back to back without Thompson and one against the defending champions, the San Antonio Spurs. They are second in the Western Conference and third overall in the entire league. But they aren’t just winning games, they are dominating. The Warriors are winning games by an average of 10.5 points per game. They are among the top of the league in points, rebounds, assists, and most shooting percentages. http://www.sportsonstc.com/2014/11/22/steve-kerr-warriors-cruising/
  22. Check out my article and tell me if you guys agree! http://www.sportsonstc.com/2014/11/23/5-reasons-toronto-raptors-legitimate-title-contenders/ I think they are at this point. A big that can score consistently inside would make them dangerous.
  23. That Napier cross on D-Will was nasty. No Dubs game until Friday. Unibrow vs. Boogie tonight is a must watch.
  24. Who is the better player? My cousins and I have been debating this for the past two years and I need answers, haha.
