Stephen Curry is more efficient on the offensive end of the floor. His shooting percentages in every category is amongst the top of the league. He is not as turnover prone as expected (unless he does his one handed passes). He is a better play-maker as well, but he is a point guard while Monta Ellis is a natural two-guard. Ellis is highly underrated on his perimeter defense. Like Brandon said, he still does gamble alot but his actual defense is at a good solid level right now and he seems to be improving on it. Call me crazy, but Ellis should be an all-star at least a couple of times before his career ends. I'm not saying he will be due to his lack of popularity and losing record, but he should be considered just as good as any of those all-star shooting guards not named Kobe or Wade. As for two years, I think they will be at the same level. Both will excel in different categories, so it's really hard to pick which one will be the better player. However, I would rather build my franchise around Curry because he has potential to be a better player in the long run.

Golden State is nearly out of the race, from what I've read by beat writers on twitter. Unless we do get a legit center signing within the next few days.

[expletive]ing Warriors lose their chance cause of New York. -_- This will def make the Knicks even better and more of a contender now.

If we lose this game and if Denver wins, looks like the Raiders are in trouble. Most likely a loss here, although I could see an upset if Oakland plays with desire like in their other wins this season. It would be so much easier if McFadden was playing though.

Smart move by the Warriors. I would hate to see Paul walk away and not have Curry as well. I want a guarantee before we actually trade Curry. At the same time, I feel like Golden State needs to make a big move for once. I would love to be risky, but we have to play this smart.

We're so close to getting Paul, omggggg. I would love for the guarantee re-signing though. I'm a little skeptical about that and whether he will actually stay with Golden State. A duo of Paul and Monta will be sick, but the defense will be probably just as bad as a Curry/Ellis backcourt. Once we sign Chandler, I think it should be a done deal with Paul in Oakland.

I loved that trade we could have done a season back where it was Mayo, fillers, and a draft pick for Monta but the Warriors were too stupid to pull the trigger. I would much rather have that than a Ellis for Gay straight up.
