Does your car get damaged at all with that much snow on it?

It's been tougher than usual for the Golden State Warriors this season. This team has been been injured like no other team this year. With nearly 300 games missed and counting due to injuries, this team has not had the time together on the floor to reach the potential that they are actually capable off. With all of these injures, this team of youngsters have made themselves one of the worst teams in the league and have earned a shot of drafting John Wall. Despite the record, some players have had exceptional seasons, while others, not so much. Here are the Warriors' mid-season grades: Monta Ellis - Has turned into a monster after the loud-mouthed Stephen Jackson got traded to Charlotte. Nearly no one in the league can stop Ellis from getting to the rim. Ellis is sixth in the league in scoring and has done a good job on defense, as well making himself the best defender on the team. He has taken the leader role well. Monta might lead the league in turnovers, but he is asked to do a little too much at times which is the main reason for that. Other than the turnovers, Ellis has had an all-star season. Grade: A Corey Maggette – Finally transformed into the player the Warriors were hoping for this season. Maggette has played small forward for the majority of the season and has been effectively efficient. He started the season off horribly. He took horrible shots and was getting booed by the home crowd. Ever since he told the media the boos bother him, he started playing good. Maggette is clearly the second best player on the team when he plays like he has for the past month. Grade: B Andris Biedrins – Biedrins missed many games this season because of an injury. The games he has played ever since he came back have not been kind to him. The little offensive game he had last year seems to be gone and he looks out of position in the post most of the time. Besides rebounding and shot blocking, Biedrins has not been the same, but has looked better in games during the past two weeks. He is slowly getting back into form and he should be back to his old self soon. Grade: C- Stephen Curry – Rookies are supposed to hit the rookie wall around this time, but this has not been the case for the son of Dell Curry. Stephen has been the second best rookie this season behind Tyreke Evans. People thought that Curry would not last in the NBA and that he would be a back-up player, which has not been the case. He has been a great shooter, good rebounder, and a much better passer than advertised. You could see Curry in an all-star game within the next few years. Grade: B Anthony Randolph – Randolph started the season off poorly. Don Nelson and him were feuding again, but once they got on the same page, Randolph started playing better. Unfortunately, he got injured during a game and it looks like he will be out for the remainder of the season. If he could bounce back, he should be the starting power forward next season. Grade: C Ronny Turiaf – Like Biedrins, Turiaf has been out for a portion of the season due to an injury. He has not looked the same this season and it looks like he regressed. Most likely, it is because he has just come back from an injury. He had a jumper last season, but looks hesitant to shoot it this season. While he is not a good rebounder for his size, he is one of the best shot blockers in the league. Grade: C- Anthony Morrow – Morrow is the best three-point shooter in the league, yet did not get the invite to the three point shootout. This guy is shooting 44 percent from beyond the arc and is considered a slump for Morrow. Besides shooting, Morrow also improved his shot off the dribble. He might be slow and not have great ball handling skills, but Morrow is the type of player that a championship team would love to have. Grade: C+ C.J. Watson – Another great shooter on the team, but could be streaky. Watson needs to stop gambling on defense for steals and play his man straight up. Watson is a shoot first point guard, but can make others around him better when he wants to. Grade: C Devean George – A good guy in the locker room, but the Raptors ripped the Warriors off in the Marco Belinelli for Devean George trade. George has had to play more this season then he expected due to so many injures on the team. Even with bad knees and not being 100 percent, George goes out and gives it his all. Too bad he is past his prime and is probably on the verge of retiring soon. Grade: D Chris Hunter - After a few promising games, the Warriors signed Hunter for the remainder of the season. Ever since the signing, Hunter has been lost in the rotation. His productivity decreased and only plays well against huge centers. Hunter is too slow to play for the Warriors and it does not seem like he will be back after this season. Grade: D Anthony Tolliver - Tolliver has just been signed for the rest of the season, making him the second D-Leaguer the Warriors singed to remain with the team for the year. Tolliver had a good streak when the Warriors first signed him, but has not produced as well as of late. His rebounding has not been good for a power forward and his shooting is not at the level that Don Nelson would like. He is a good energy player, but nothing too special. Records shouldn't matter for an all-star game. All-stars are the best players, not the best players of the best teams.

Ellis actually has been playing good defense this season. He would have more assists too if his teammates could finish.

That was a hella good game. I also loved the one against Boston where Baron hit the game winner. The one against the Lakers on ESPN where Baron hit the kiss of death dagger three. Any of the Mavs/Warriors games that Golden State won. Also the two games against the Kings last year at Oracle. I went to both of them and they were both crazy, high scoring games.
