Croatia had a good team, too. They went on to finish third at the tournament, beating a good Dutch team in the process. It took a Lilian Thuram miracle for France to beat them in the semifinals. They were just better than Germany at that tournament. I don't see how they were a surprise, it's not like they were unknown, especially not to the Germans who they met in the quarterfinals of the Euro's just two years earlier.

I don't really think that was an upset. Croatia was the better team at that time. Plus the Germans went down to 10 men early in that match. Biggest upset has to be North Korea beating the Italians in 1966, or West Germany beating the Hungarians in the final in 1954.

Depends on how healthy the other guys can be and how effective is Deng going to be with that wrist which he's decided not to have surgery on. Only significant losses are Korver and Asik. Watson was garbage, even a washed up Hinrich is a better player. Butler should be able to fill in for Brewer, and will contribute more offensively. Robinson sucks, but he's better than Lucas. Can't forget that Hamilton barely played last year and Bellineli should chip in for some of that 3 point shooting lost with Korver's departure. Radmanovic and Teague probably won't play so they're irrelevant.

I actually didn't mind Lucas tonight. He was being aggressive and he made some shots. Problem is he can't really run the offense at all. He's a 3rd stringer, really he should only be playing in emergencies. Can't really depend on him in the 4th quarter of a playoff game. CJ Watson, on the other hand... Looks like Noah might have fractured his ankle.

Well that's been our problem going back to last year. We have one point guard on the roster. Those two scrubs aren't even point guards. Neither of them can run a team to save their lives.

If I have anyone else tell me that Derrick Rose was undeserving of his MVP I'm going to rip their head off. Look at the clowns this kid has to play with.

Overreact much? Dudes been sitting for the last month. You can't just walk in off the street and play at a high level. He needs to get healthy and get his rhythm back.

He's not getting MVP considerations. He's missed almost half of the season. And yes the injury is more serious than the Bulls were letting on. He's clearly got some sort of a tear in the groin, seeing he can't even run yet. Probably won't be back for at least another week, maybe two.

If you can make a clear upgrade to the team, ie add a legit superstar like Dwight Howard, then yeah. But otherwise no point in making a move just for the sake of making a move. You look at this team right now: 1st ranked offense, 3rd ranked defense, 1st in point differential and that's with your starting 5 playing only 98 minutes together all season.

Let's see him do this against some real teams that will actually try guarding him before we crown his ass. Props for 3 nice games tho.
