  1. surprising to me that the knicks are 4th O_O
  2. I agree, better to play it safe at this point in the season. It's prolly lingering from his injury from the 06-07 season.
  3. I like the court down in Orlando for some reason lol.
  4. actually, speaking of Marbs, this situation is similar except Nate's situation wasn't as blown up as Marbs' was lol. Marbury actually "behaved" and even showed that he still had some gas left in his tank(especially in that Orlando series even if he was inconsistent). If Nate landed on a team like Boston, LA, Cleveland, Orlando, or the spurs (contender basically) i'm sure he wouldn't be a punk or a cancer considering the talent level and leadership around him.
  5. I don't see a trade happening anytime soon, we don't have anyone but quise to match contracts with nate, and i highly doubt we deal quise for him. Also, word is that he might get bought out, not sure if we even have a roster spot, but i'd def cut giddens to sign nate. He's like house w/out the effort on defense apparently, however he's more than just a shooter on offense. Iunno, never followed nate, so i dunno. Can knicks fans fill me in on how his ball handling is? I'm sure if he was here, he'd try on defense because if he didnt, the entire squad/coaches would be all over him. So he's be a low risk signing. If he can handle the ball, provide scoring off the bench, try on defense, and limit his TO's, he's an excellent pick-up, if not, we'd just end up cutting him and fall upon house/hudson.
  6. you should send me the PSD so i can totally jack it and turn it into a Randy Moss sig
  7. I won't even discuss the Kobe>MJ thing lol... As for the 2nd one, how is he not? It's not like Kobe is 10 times better or something. Last i checked, LBJ is damn close to Kobe right now, and in a year or 2 will overtake him as the games best. KG/Duncan arent top 5 players anymore IMO, at their positions, yes, in the league no. As a celtic fan, i could care less what they're showing in the commercials. They could be comparing Paul Pierce with Jamario Moon and it wouldn't matter to me because well, i just don't care about commercials...
  8. I just noticed what happened. This has to be the most pathetic....words can't descrine how sad this is. Damn i feel sorry for the Bulls fans smh.
  9. They're showing the rivalry between the two best players in the league right now. What they accomplished so far doesn't come into factor here lol. Obviously it's for money making purposes, and it's not only for LBJ to get some media attention(like he needs more of it lol), it's for kobe too.
  10. The Celtics of course I'll gladly catch a "fever" the day of the parade to miss work
  11. No: Do NOT want to repeat that Minny/Dallas trade that created that dynasty. Maybe: Depends on what team i am. Thomas/Hutch
  12. last i checked we were still 20-5 and atop the east, so getting out rebounded hasn't shot us in the [expletive] yet apparently.
  13. We got bombed overnight w/like a foot of snow smh.
  14. IMO, all out rebuilding. Try and see if they can get rid of arenas for some expirings and maybe some young talent or pick(s). If you're able to, do it, just rebuild.
  15. im not mad or anything lol, but i don't see why it was necessary...
  16. He's talking about each team having their own D-League team. And also read what Erik said about every few home games have the D-League team play on the parent team's court. It'd give the fans a chance to see the team's youth(especially for winning teams). I don't see where that 2nd part was necessary.....
  17. Linkage I think this would be interesting. I actually really like the idea even though it'd never happen. Thoughts?
  18. I'll take Rodgers. He's playing really well despite his terrible offense line play. Someone mentioned Rodgers has gotten sacked 40 something times this year and blaming him for holding the ball too long. Well, when the line barely gives you any time in the pocket, it's hard not to hold onto the ball to avoid throwing a wild pass that could end up being intercepted. I've never liked comparing players with playoff success, so lets please throw that out the window, cause if thats the case then Dan Marino<Ravens QB in 2000(Bollinger right? or am i wrong, someone correct me lol). But yea, Romo is good, but i just think Rodgers is better, give dude a solid O-Line and i bet he can be argued along the lines of Brady/Brees/Manning IMO. Not better than those dudes, but def. on their level.
  19. Thank god that storm missed us up here. I'd be damned if i was shoveling snow on saturday -_-
  20. The main problem is our rebounding, namely offensive rebounding. We get beat on the boards alot, mainly the offensive boards, which leads to 2nd chance opportunities. Idk whats up with that, hopefully we improve on it.
  21. Get rid of Goodell, he's [expletive]ing up the NFL. Props to Chad for doing this.
  22. While i agree w/your statement about the MVP being the leader/most important player on a team, i don't see how you can say "Maybe" Lebron is a candidate when he also fits that criteria. He's clearly the Cavs best player, Leader, and most productive/playmaker. There aren't many, if any(too lazy to check) other than Lebron averaging 7+ assists for their team. Add to the fact that just because the player isn't the actual leader, that doesn't mean they aren't the most valuable, because i see Melo as a MUCH more valuable player for the Nuggets than Chauncy. As for the MVP, I see Kobe, Nash, Wade, Lebron, Melo, and Dirk as candidates, but i don;t see anyone as a clear cut favorite yet IMO. A guy that won't get consideration, but IMO is probably deserving so far is Gerald Wallace. "lol, he said Gerald Wallace". But hey, Charlotte is doing MUCH better than i expected, and im almost positive that w/out G-Wall, they'd be in a situation similar to New Jersey/Minnesota. Instead, they're in the hunt for a playoff spot. 17/12 as a wing player speaks for itself.
