Yes we would.We gave him a qualifying offer, so unless another team offers him a contract, he stays with us. If another team does offer him a contract, we have the right to match it, depending on how much he's offered, he'll likely be a Celtic next season unless a team offers him full MLE and we dont want to pay him that.

Whoa, hold ur horses. The NBA is a business, if the Celtics have "no class", then who in the NBA has class in that case? Im sure every team has done this at one time or another, it in no way shows that they dont have class. Leon clearly understands why we didn't offer him the qualifying offer. His agent is the one who said Danny said that, and im pretty sure he exaggerated what Danny said to make us out to be some bad guy..

Detroit wont go after him IMO. Memphis might go after him, but they wont be able to offer much because they can't offer him more than the MLE because BBD is an Early Bird Rights player. It's nicknamed the "Gilbert Arenas Provision" - which prevents teams from offering huge contracts to other teams' 2nd year RFA's, and caps the max offer that a team can make to a player in that situation at the 'average salary', the MLE. So if Memphis offers him the MLE, then we're [expletive]ed, because i wouldn't want to pay him MLE. We'll see. In all likelihood, he'll remain a Celtic.

I dunno, The playing time will be ample, and his 20+ shots will be there, so that makes sense. However, the Cats won't be contending for a title any time soon, so i don't see why AI would wanna go here(besides Larry of course). Who knows at this point.

Sheed will get his 20-30 minutes like Posey did.It would be perfect as he'd be limiting KG to about 30 MPG as well, keeping him fresh for the playoffs. Im sure he wouldn't mind coming off the bench if he's winning and getting 20-30 MPG.. He and KG are good friends, so i doubt there would be anything to mess up the team chemistry. Anyways, i take this "gut" feeling with a grain of salt, Tangay is HORRIBLE.
