Smh at JR Smith, what kind of teammate is that -_-. Good to know Melo's alright tho. Edit: Actually, everyone on the court, dude wasn't moving and no one called a TO.

Who is the most overrated 3 pointer shooter?
Celtics3420 replied to ChosenOne's topic in General NBA Discussion
Sheed isn't an overrated 3 Point shooter, cause well, he's not a good one(Average at best). He's a chucker, who doesn't realize he sucks at shooting 3's and should just stop for the benefit of his team instead of being a fat lazy [expletive] to talks smack without thinking for a second of how awful he is playing this year. -
Yao Could Opt Out This Summer
Celtics3420 replied to The Regime's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
I agree, teams will be reluctant to give the dude a huge pay day with so much uncertainty of his current health and ability to stay healthy. Getting that huge amount would be what he's better off with. Then if he can stay healthy and get back to his old form, then he'd be good. No one is signing a Fragile center coming off a major surgery to a big deal, regardless of who they are(in this case, arguably the best C in the NBA when healthy) -
Pierce Suffers Shoulder Stinger

Just when we were starting to play well/get fully healthy......you've GOT to be kidding me -_- -
They shoulda chosen a better song from Big for the "Intro" beat, cause the beat is so deep, shoulda chose a song like Juicy, or one that was more reminiscent of his struggles IMO.

I wouldn't be posting much, if at all, but i'd be at RealGM lurking the Celtics board there.

You're solid. Strategy is nice, holding down one are of the map. I used to run n gun, but you'll more likely than not die in this game like that(die alot that is). I call this a defensive play style. Camping is sitting in a corner with your sights aimed waiting for someone to run by. You should post a nuke video though, that would draw a ton of views and/or subscribers.

Wade, might as well take the best player in the group. Both are unselfish players, so yea..

[Completed] Greatest center in NBA history?
Celtics3420 replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
Bill Russell Arguably the best defensive anchor in NBA history. Led a dominant Celtics team to 8 straight rings, and an unprecedented 11/13 as a player/coach. You can argue wilt, but Wilt also played against russell and Russell's Celtics always beat up on Wilt's sixers. Could go either way, but my choice is Russell. -
[Completed] Greatest point guard of all-time?
Celtics3420 replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
Magic will probably win(and deservedly so), so i'll go a different rout lol. Honorable mention. Bob Cousy From a stand point, he wasn't much of a shooter, but he was easily one of the greatest play-makers of all time. He averaged a career 7.5 assists in an era where the guy you passed to HAD to shoot right away for it to count as an assist. so thos numbers are very impressive IMO. Also, not my vote, but i have to mention his name since it would be wrong not to do so. John Stockton. -
This is pathetic smfh..... I hope that Doc [expletive]ted on them after this game, cause this doesnt look like a hungry team at all.

Would it be more interesting...
Celtics3420 replied to HornyWetPenguin's topic in General NBA Discussion
so if a team won by 20 in game one, and the other team won the next 5 games by a combined 10 points, then the team that wins by 20 moves on? Terrible idea. -
Wait what? Rondo is a top 5 PG and if he can develop a more consistent jumper, he'd arguably be the best PG in the league. Westbrook is solid, and a top 10 for sure, but in 2 years, i don't see him ahead of Rondo, Paul, Williams, Rose, Evans IMHO. He'll be right behind those 5, but i dont see him overtaking them any time soon. Who's to say Rondo doesn't have potential? Dude is still 24 and a lot of his game can still Improve. Neither he or Westbrook have a good jumper(correct me if im wrong, i dont watch too many Thunder Games), and aside from that, Rondo is either the same or much better than Westbrook. Scoring- Rondo is MUCH more efficient, and scores merely 2 points less on 4 less attempts per game(less FT's as well). Rebounding- Westbrook is bigger and stronger, so he'd be a better rebounder. Rondo is nio slouch though. Playmaking(assists)- I dont know if RW is dominant with the ball, but Rondo nabs 10 assists a game without the ball being dominant with the ball the entire game. Defense- Even. Rondo gets more steals, but RW is a pretty good man-to-man defender. So while RW still has potential to grow, so does Rondo, and you can't honestly say Rondo has reached his ceiling when dude is only 24 and has alot of areas in his game(shooting, man D to name a couple)that can improve. Also, please dont bring up playing w/the Big 3. I think anyone who watches a Celtic game can and will tell you that Rondo has easily been the best player for the Celtics. Rondo now and in 2 years.

This one. They have more overall depth/talent. You can't factor in the 60 wins they had that year either as this Mavs team was put together after the All Star break. They've also won 11 in a row IIRC.

D'Antoni: My System Will Produce Title For Knicks
Celtics3420 replied to The Regime's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
I don't think so. until they stop banking on FA and trading all their picks away, i dont see them building a title contender IMO. David Lee/Danilo is a nice core to build around, i just dont see this 2010 thing panning out. If they get lucky they might land Joe Johnson, and if they do it might turn into Amare as well, but that's in a dream world. shoulda stuck to drafting and building through youth(and maybe flip a few for a star ala Boston). But hey, i could be wrong. Until they prove so, they've had nothing but a few mediocre seasons after trading high picks for Big Name players who were mainly "Me First" players(marbury, Z-Bo, Eddy Curry, Franchise etc) -
Trade With The Best Impact So Far?
Celtics3420 replied to MainEv3nt's topic in General NBA Discussion
Milwaukee went from Borderline team to 6-8th seed team. Dallas went from Potential sleeper(as a title team) to surefire contender. I'd say the Dallas trade had a MUCH bigger impact. Milwaukee's trade should be in consideration though, but on a 2nd tier type thing IMO. -
Link Sure i guess. Nate, Finley, Quis, Sheed, baby bench sounds good. More rest for Pierce/Allen

nice to see a blow out win for a change.
