The new season is starting soon so lets get some predictions and discussion going! It's probably too early and irrelevant to do awards predictions, we'll hold off on those for now. Use the code to list your predictions. Predictions for the 09-10 Season Players to lead the league in... Points: (1), (2), (3) Rebounds: (1), (2), (3) Assists: (1), (2), (3) Steals: (1), (2), (3) Blocks: (1), (2), (3) 3 Rookies to watch for... Player Name: Stats Prediction: Player Name: Stats Prediction: Player Name: Stats Prediction: 3 Sophomores to watch for... Player Name: Stats Prediction: Player Name: Stats Prediction: Player Name: Stats Prediction: 3 Player to watch for... Player Name: Stats Prediction: Player Name: Stats Prediction: Player Name: Stats Prediction: 3 Teams to watch for... Team: Team: Team: Okay, so I will start things off Predictions for the 09-10 Season Players to lead the league in... Points: Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Danny Granger Rebounds: Dwight Howard, David Lee, Emeka Okafor Assists: Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Rajon Rondo Steals: Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo Blocks: Dwight Howard, Chris Andersen, Hasheem Thabeet 3 Rookies to watch for... Tyreke Evans: With his set of skills, I don't see why he can't beat out Sergio Rodriguez and an injured Beno Udrih. Sacramento is clearly at a rebuilding stage and Evans should have a big year along side Kevin Martin. Stats Prediction: 15 PPG, 4 RPG 6 APG, 1 SPG Jonny Flynn: No Rubio? No Problem! Jonny Flynn might only be 6'0" but his athleticism should serve him well to go along with Minnesota's very thin depth at the backcourt in terms of talent. I see him being a serious contender for ROY. Stats Prediction: 17 PPG 2 RPG 7 APG 2 SPG Blake Griffin: First overall pick. Anything less than a rookie of the year award would probably be considered a disappointment. He should have a big year as Marcus Camby will once again be in and out of the lineup and I suspect Chris Kaman to be traded. Stats Prediction: 15 PPG 9 RPG 1 APG 2 BPG 3 Sophomores to watch for... Brook Lopez: It's pretty much just him and Devin Harris now in New Jersey. I see him having an even better year than his rookie campaign. Stats Prediction: 18 PPG 11 RPG 2 APG 2 BPG Derrick Rose: Ben Gordon is gone. I see Rose having the ball more in crunch time and jacking up a few more shots. I also expect quite a boost in his assists department. Stats Prediction: 20 PPG 4 RPG 9 APG 2 SPG Anthony Randolph: He will be the Warriors' starting PF this season. His athleticism reminds me of Josh Smith, and Golden State plays uptempo basketball so he should have a pretty good year. Stats Prediction: 14 PPG 9 RPG 2 BPG 2 SPG 3 Player to watch for... Rajon Rondo: He was amazing in the 2009 NBA Playoffs. Look for each one of the big three to shoot a bit less and watch Rondo work his magic! Stats Prediction: 15 PPG 5 RPG 10 APG 2 SPG Gilbert Arenas: Will he regain his form? I highly doubt he will be anywhere close to 25 PPG and I'll even be surprised if he makes it to 20 PPG. With Randy Foye, Mike Miller, Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison all healthy, I don't think there will be enough shots for Arenas to average over 20 points. Stats Prediction: 18 PPG 3 RPG 7 APG 1 SPG Elton Brand: Another one coming back from injury. Brand is really a question mark here. The Sixers started playing better and found an identity when he went down with an injury. I see Brand slowly fitting in better this year. He probably won't have a monster season but a respectable one. Stats Prediction: 17 PPG 10 RPG 2 BPG 3 Teams to watch for... Washington Wizards: With a healthy Gilbert Arenas and Brendan Haywood, I see the Wizards making a complete 360 degree turn around. Haywood provides an interior presence on defense once again for them. Something they lacked badly last season. Toronto Raptors: This season will most likely answer all questions about Chris Bosh's future with the squad. The Raptors added around 12(not exact but close) new guys. If all goes well I see them hovering around the 4-6 seed in the East. If nothing clicks, it will just be a repeat of last season. Phoenix Suns: Shaq is gone and that means Amare will be happy again with more shots to throw up. No longer is the Big Cactus clogging up the paint meaning the Suns can go back to run and gun. However, I see Phoenix falling short of a playoff spot once again.

Hate how PS3 is always late.

Sorry I'm not really taking requests at the moment cause I haven't been using Photoshop for awhile and I will need time to get back to where I left off. Thanks!

Mo Williams stats last season as the point guard: 17.8 PPG 3.4 RPG 4.1. APG Monta Ellis stats last season as a combo guard: 19.0 PPG 4.3 RPG 3.7 APG How is Mo Williams a better point guard when he averages 4.1 assists per game while a combo guard who's not even playing at 100% averages 3.7 assists. Correct me if I'm wrong but he doesn't seem like a much better point guard to me. Monta Ellis is clearly the better player. Before the injury he was one of the fastest players in the league and a prolific scorer with an unstoppable penetration game. He also doesn't fall in love with the three ball like every other player in this league.

Really? Well these were all made by me quite awhile back, so maybe you saw it when I posted them at other forums too. I'll give it a try when I got time and I also need to get back into PS groove.

Damn, that sucks. Its been couple years since I've posted at an actual basketball forum and I'm so lost. RealBallers and most of the other popular forums are all gone now.

Thanks for the welcome. I remember this forum used to have a lot more members than the current amount, just wondering what happened?

They should move the Coyotes franchise back to Canada. There's a strong fan base almost in all of Canada but the problem in this case is that Hamilton is too close to Toronto and Gary Bettman has always wanted to turn hockey into an American sport.

Just wanna let everyone know I haven't been connected to forums for 2+ years, and haven't been using Photoshop as much as I used to so most of these sigs are out of date. http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg11/aLmightydesigns/Signatures/chrispaul-2.png http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg11/aLmightydesigns/Signatures/amarestoudemire.png http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg11/aLmightydesigns/Signatures/alexovechkinv2.png http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg11/aLmightydesigns/Signatures/geraldwallace.png http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg11/aLmightydesigns/Signatures/caronbutler.png http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg11/aLmightydesigns/Signatures/stephencurry.png http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg11/aLmightydesigns/Signatures/hedoturkoglu.png

Reggie Even becoming the team's enforcer?
aLmighty replied to headliner's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
He can be the new Jerome Williams. But on a serious note, he can potentially help the Raptors' poor rebounding. -
Hi, I am new to this forum. I've been out of forums for 2+ years and I've ran couple of forums and sites before, so maybe some of you may find this name familiar. I am just looking for a casual community where I can be at every now and then.
