GM3: San Antonio at LA Clippers

:o Duncan on Griffin. That was disgusting. Wow. -
Lakers had to do everything right and scott skiles gave us a few free points with Fisher on Kobe. Game 4 is tomorrow and thunder is younger. I'm pretty skeptical but hopeful

Kobe needs to play smarter or take a backseat this series. they have him contained

GM2: LA Lakers at Oklahoma City

OKC isn't more than 8ppg better than Lakers.... so if OKC beat Lakers by 30, than the law of average is on Laker's side..... right? Honestly though, Lakers will bounce back. This game will actually be competetive. -
Clippers have a better chance than Grizzlies to knock out Spurs. The last competitive showing of these two teams, VDN finally decided to put K-mart at center to shut down Parker when they switched. They might just put Bledsoe on Parker, too. I'd also like to see Spurs variation of "make CP3 a scorer." It never gets boring to see the Spurs pick teams apart.

5 Reasons Why the Lakers Can Upset the Thunder
Lemon replied to Legacy's topic in General NBA Discussion
I agree with most points except for your 5th. Lakers have just won only 1 out of their last 3 games and 2 of their last 5. In comparison, Thunder took an all time high confidence that can propel them throughout the playoffs by sweeping the defending champs. Also, Denver took Bynum out of the series by doubling on the catch and denying him the ball. It'll be interesting to see how he'll bounce back. Which brings me to your #1 and #4 point. Bynum is the Laker's biggest X-factor. Perkins can cover him by himself, but we all know how easily Bynum gets frustrated. If he's not playing his offense, he won't have his head in the game. With the exception of game 1, Bynum wasn't playing at an all-star level. To compete with the Thunder's potent big 3, Bynum needs to bounce back. -
Greg Oden Discusses Injury-Plauged Career
Lemon replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in General NBA Discussion
If you guys took curry then you guys will definitely try to get this guy. Barring injuries, oden is the best center in the league so when he comes back , his top priority will be medical staff. unfortunately, he'll never have the same potential he had coming straight out of college, but many teams will take a chance on any skilled seven footer. -
Gasol needs to step up. I think he's just afraid to step over Bynum's secondary scoring option title and the expectations that come with it. But really Pau played his best when that pressure was on him, and he needs to show his presence on the low post. Because really Bynum can't do it. Denver took Bynum out of the series a long time ago. They double him on the catch, they front him in the post, they run him out of the game, etc. And it seems that Bynum is blaming all the lack of touches on the team. Pau needs to step up because Bynum has proven that he's not even ready for the secondary scoring position. Andrew's body language is insinuating that he's not happy. Not happy because of the lack of touches, and I believe that he'll keep that with him even if it cost the Lakers the series. Pathetic.

Championship performance. And McGee out plays bynum again and our shooters are crap again.

If you're the Lakers, and you go up 3-0...
Lemon replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Lakers are going to need MWP with the way Barnes is playing. Ebanks isn't that good of a SF either. There's a big hole there without World Peace, and that wont' cut it in a 7 game series against Thunder. -
If you don't want him, we'll take him. CP3 has been the most clutch this season. I'm just wondering now how Pop is going to try and contain him.
-
loooll that last play should've been for lebron. I don't know what happened in the huddle, but he should've spoken out. Congrats to Knicks for avoiding the sweep. Now Lin can push the knicks to win the series.
-
Great comeback by thunder but really, if you have a harden that can take Marion off the dribble towards the frontcourt of dirk and mahinmi, what do you expect? Then you have all these people thinking about free agency already. If I was adallas fan I would be pissed about how they closed. Crazy though how close this series really was.

Anyone watch it? It was good, but Mayweather took it by unanimous decision. Just when he started to look human, he picked it up.
-
Spurs offense is hands down the best in the league. So good to watch.
-
Cp3 was tremendous. That was amazing to watch. Unfortunately, none of these teams have shown that they'll be able to knock out Spurs.
-
McGee out played bynum baaad lol. We couldn't make anything either. Baaaaaaad

Kobe likes to try n take over in these kind of games. I'd like him to take a back seat

From Abro's article, the final 20 may be: Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Kobe Bryant, Tyson Chandler, Kevin Durant, Rudy Gay, Eric Gordon, Blake Griffin, Andre Iguodala, LeBron James, Kevin Love, Odom, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, Russell Westbrook, Deron Williams, Greg Monroe, Al Jefferson, DeMarcus Cousins, and Anthony Davis. I think that's 20. There's quite a few people he'll have to beat to be on the actual team. If he actually makes the final 12 it will say a lot, but I don't see it happening.
