Damm... Fun game for Kobe and bynum. They were toying with the clips. At least they were able to punk pau
-
I thought this was a pretty dope take. In one play It shows what sets him a part from others.
-
lol kobe is such a troll
-
Looks like Thunder are the new favorites for winning it all. They're peaking at a great time. The only thing that may prevent them from winning is Russ getting cold.
-
lol what the shit we played 2 quarters.....
-
Wow. Bad game. Not only that but coaches decided to bench Kobe until 2 in the fourth. This won't go well in the locker room
-
Lethargic

Kobe will be looking for his shot tonight. Hopefully he gets it or this game may be harder than it should be

From what I've seen this season, when heat look lazy in the first quarter they'll be lazy for the most of the game

Jason Smith's Flagrant Foul on Blake Griffin
Lemon replied to ChosenOne's topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
Griffin has been through worse. He puts himself through worse with some of the flops he's done. -
Truman show/ Eternal sunshine Truman show blew my mind when i was a kid and eternal sunshine was pretty mind blowing too.
-
Kaman is trying on this one. He had two clean blocks on two string Griffin dunks and showing his usual technique on the low post. He's good when healthy
-
Interesting how they let lin close over melo even tho he had a bad first 3 quarters

Warriors fans boo Lacob during Mullin ceremony
Lemon replied to BadgerFan's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
maybe kd for oden? Monta may be less like Durant and Bogut is less like Oden, but the same themes are there. -

I don't blame golden state. They traded Monta. That was their guy. That would be like trading away kobe or wade for a greg oden. Yea probably not the right time to do it, but as fan and given that circumstance, I would boo the owner too. -
That was bad... Couldn't close out on the threes, couldn't box out, Kobe sat too long. We definitely missed Bynum out there. I would've considered putting J. Hill over Pau at that point. 4 rebounds for Pau.

I mean... this technically isn't flopping but http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b334/pkflyers/2009/paulPierce1.gif Flopping is definitely a talent.

Niners may not have either Smith or Manning? Would they be in the running for Tebow?
-
damn it kobe. So stubborn
-
i have no idea how we are up. With the exception of Bynum and Pau, we're playing baaaaaaaaad.

You guys are okay with the "sell the charge" flop? I can see that. But all types of flops have been increasing to a point where it's a part of the game. It's at a point where those who flop are awarded more than those who try to draw fouls truthfully like bft was saying. Right now it's an asset to any team. The only thing that the league can do now that I see is keep it the way it is or call lesd fouls

Fun game. I'm surprised Vinny went with nick over mo in to close. A few other things - DJ seems to be slumping. I wish he played better because he's one of my favorite Clippers. -Greg Monroe was destroying Blake Griffin in the low block. Griffin has to develop some post defense. -Chris Paul can close. But everyone knew that. I wish though that he can take over on more occasions. As a PG, i understand he has to involve everyone, but no one can do it better than him. -Tayshaun Prince still has it. The whole package. -Jerebko is a good 2nd round pick. -Clipper Darrel was there with his suit. -I saw Blake flop liiiiiiiiive lol.

Attending this one. I geek out lol

Anyone else noticing how much flopping has been integrated into the game? How do you guys feel about it? and where do you see it going? Personally, I'm slowly accepting some aspects of it. Taking the charge for example is really risky, and players HAVE to sell it in order to get the call. Otherwise, the other option is getting hurt and a blocking foul. Pain to injury. The real crazy flops (you know what I'm talking about) get real tiring though. They're calls that shouldn't be called. It's annoying. It is turning into a option that forces a turnover, and some people have the skill (D.Fish), some don't (Kobe). If they're good, they know when to flop. If they see an extended arm, they'll exaggerate the reaction. I've even seen DFish try to rationalize his flops to the ref. It's all a shame because some players that flop normally (Ginobli, James) are great enough without it. It seems though that refs are trying to prevent it. Sometimes. Players like Blake Griffin are getting reputations. I've been seeing that he's not getting a lot calls that he would've gotten earlier in the year. But you have to admit that they're tough not to call given the speed of the game. I've seen refs be spot on with the no calls. To be honest, they're rare. One possibility is that the games will be called with less fouls leading to a tougher game for guards. Games like this have been the most exciting to me. I think most people would say that flopping shouldn't be valid defense, but right now it is. What now?

Kobe comments on Fisher trade
Lemon replied to Be Like Mike's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exLBauvLxXY He'll always be a Laker. Ya, it sucks that he doesn't get to retire here, but we weren't going to win anything with him as our starting pg. Fish is just 37 and not a starter on a championship team. But I'm not worried about Fisher at all. Like Mitch said, anywhere he will go he's going to be successful. I hope though that one way or another, he'll make it back to this organization. He earned each and every one of those championships he won with Lakers. So the difference he makes will be noticed. Especially in the locker room. I can just imagine a grim scenario in half time of a playoff game. Who's going to step up and be the voice to lead a charge? No one would be able to do it better than Fish..... lolnostalgia.
