  1. Lame, I had the sixers winning this one, but this one was yanked by a perfect lob by Rondo to KG. Were the Sixers playing small on that play, too? That's what it seemed like. The play just seemed too easy for Boston. But I feel bad especially for Iggy. He was making all the important shots. They were impossible shots, and leave it to Iggy in the clutch to make those. He's a different player the last few mins of close games.
  2. Going to push D Howard again. He's been consistently great while also improving.
  3. Wow. I was actually losing confidence on this team's clutch ability before this game, but after 2 consec steals by Artest, great plays by Kobe, and F(in)isher, it's there again. LOL!
  4. Lol Hibbert howd u miss that so bad!! Bogut with a miracle touch.
  5. I thought it was pretty funny lol. Once he went to the bench, everyone had that "wtf" face on.
  6. I love how the refs missed that. Props to Griffin for keeping his head straight. Don't think he stopped pushing Miller because of that. There was 7 mins left in the 4th. Miller just stopped overreacting. Honestly though. The baseline ref really missed that.

  8. Seems like a lot of people are set on Chris Paul, which I would understand if it was back when the Hornets were coming off of their big start. But right now, the Hornets have fallen back down to Earth and so has CP3. I get it though, Paul was on pace to being MVP with how well the Hornets were playing, but lately they've been doing pretty bad. All fingers point to CP3 for the slump too. Looking at his 4th quarter stats from Nov 13 to Nov 26, Paul tends to slow down and let his team slip. Courtesy of http://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/MessageTopic.asp?p=22931970&Pg=1 Chris Paul has been a ghost in the fourth quarter in those 6 games where it mattered. I don't know about you guys, but that's not an MVP performance. After that? He was outplayed by Russel Westbrook recently last Monday in the 4th quarter. Chris Paul choked. Furthermore, I'm even going to go as far as to say that D. Will has been the better PG this season. Check out D. Will's performance against Indiana last Friday. 24 pts on 15 tries, 16 Assists, 0 turnovers. Pair this performance with how well Utah has been doing lately and you can see that the battle for best PG is closer than some of you guys think.
  9. Dwight Howard. Best defensive anchor in the league. His man defense isn't the best, but when you're getting your team to 2nd in defensive efficiency while having par to subpar defensive players, like Rashard Lewis and Jameer Nelson, it speaks volumes on how important Dwight's defense is. Plus, his offensive game is improving. He's introduced a midrange shot this year which isn't efficient, but he's still the most efficient offensive superstar in the league averaging 21 pts on 13 tries. He's always overlooked in the MVP race i guess for not averaging more pts, but his impact is undeniable.
  10. Hah, I remember spending half my game time on blitzball. That stuff was fun. Brother and the main character were all you needed to win lol. Then they had that manager mode in X-2. That was fun too.
  11. And Joe Pesci at the bottom right. Looks weird with glasses.
  12. lol. I'm definitely going to watch this. When's it coming out?
  13. 1996. Just the role players are some of the greatest role players of all time. 2 of the best shooters of all time and 3 great defensive bigs. Who wants to get past a prime Ben Wallace, Jermaine Oneal, and Marcus Camby? Actually, make that 3 of the best shooters of all time. Peja, Nash, Allen.
  14. Probably gunna be the most watched game this whole season. Pretty sad.
  15. Well this makes the Lakers loss a little better. Good to see one LA team playing defense.
  16. Definitely. Ginobli was fouled at least twice that time going to the rim.
  17. I saw this online lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWbLOFGSEDo
  18. Same story as with TJ Ford, Darren Collison, and D Will: Mike Conley.
  19. Looking at the replay, I see what Kobe tried to do now. The defense did collapse toward Kobe, and it was actually a good idea to pass it out to Artest because he was in the short corner three position. He had after all just made his last three. What happened though was that Kobe's pass was slightly to the left, forcing Artest to reposition. The time spent repositioning gave Gay enough time to recover and make Artest 2nd guess the first shot. Still Kobe should've just done it all. Think we're just kind of spoiled though after last season where we won all of these types of games.
  20. Last 3 game skid: 3/7/10 to Miami, Charlotte, then Orlando. I thought it was before that. This is the 2nd 3-game losing streak since we got Gasol. And Kobe should have shot that. It was right at the freethrow line, his sweet spot. Even if Mayo was playing good D, he would've made it. He was probably expecting the Memphis D to collapse on him, but Gay was able to close well on Artest. I really doubt Kobe planned to get the ball back from Artest.
  21. Our PG defense problems continue. When was our last 3 game skid?
  22. http://www.silverscreenandroll.com/2010/11/29/1831666/how-does-a-player-affect-the-teams-perfomance#storyjump Saw this bit on SS&R. It's interesting quick read on the 2009-2010 season. Some samples (games without the stars) are kinda small, but it's enough to suggest a point.
