  1. Westbrook has been monstrous during the past few games. Nice to see the Thunder defense back in action too.
  2. I'm not a fan of the video. Everyone is picking apart Spoelstra, and this one is far from the best. I also find his nickname for the coach, "Slowstra," pretty ironic. First off, the first play that he suggests, the curl, is perfect for Ray Allen, and not for Lebron or Wade. It puts Ray Allen in perfect position to do what he does best, which is to shoot. What's Lebron and Wade good at doing? Making plays. In the curl, you see that you have two bigs in the lane. That in itself limits their playmaking abilities. What he is right about is off ball movement. It's the problem that everyone has been alluding to when they're not criticizing the coach. It might be the coach's fault for not emphasizing it, but it's ultimately the fault of the players. This was the reason why Haslem was an important component to the team. He did all the dirty work. What's funny is that now that Haslem is out, it's Spoelstra's fault that the team isn't getting their defensive rotations right or good offensive rebounding position. The stars need to go back and learn the fundamentals.

  4. This game was very much winnable without Bynum. Hibbert would've been a force with or without Bynum defending him. He's proven it before. Obviously another big would be nice to have, but again this game was winnable without him. When I say that we lack heart, I mean that this team usually comes back with redemption after a loss. We saw that last year, but it hasn't shown at all this season. It shouldn't take a second consecutive loss to wake up.
  5. Second two game losing streak of the season already. That's pretty big for us. What I see is that this team is lacking some heart. That's to be expected for reigning back to back champs, but it needs to be there eventually. Time for Fisher to call a players meeting.
  6. From what I hear, no one wants commit to N Korea in this type of war. They're like that dumb friend who did something stupid to someone and you feel obliged to help, but you know he's just wrong. That's why China hasn't made an official statement on their position yet.
  7. Ya I was thinking about this today because a few ppl are starting to say that Gasol is the Lakers MVP. People who say that haven't been watching the Lakers because even if Gasol is a really big cog in the system, he's not the type of person you build around. To sum it up in one word, the difference between Gasol and Kobe is dominance.
  8. Except we're still backing S Korea, and N Korea has some nuclear weapons. They're nuts. But I do agree that it won't spark anything.

  10. wow who wouldve thot that cp3 would choke. he should've been way more aggressive throughout the whole game
  11. http://bballbreakdown.com/ there's his other stuff
  12. He's so much better than VDN at this point, defensively and offensively. Chicago was already pretty good defensively with vdn tho so the biggest concern with Thibodeau was his offense. Offensively, Chicago was one of the least efficient teams last season even with Rose and Deng. Actually, they were the 3rd worst efficient team in the league. Then comes Thibodeau with an offense stressing ball movement, and now they're around average. They're definitely not last anymore. I would even say that they're still learning the offense. I remember when they were goin against the fast paced Knicks, and they were throwing the ball away just trying to run the offense. Once Boozer come in, they'll definitely become a greater offensive team no question. Their defense may fall a little bit without Taj Gibson, but the upside is worth it. Also, on the Jazz Boozer didn't have a good defensive Center to help him out, and that's what made his defensive game get exposed. With Noah and Tom Thibodeau, the defensive hole will still be there, but it won't be as big. Taj Gibson will also still be an option.
  13. I have Kobe as #6 1. Jordan 2. Kareem 3. Wilt 4. Bill Russell 5. Magic 6. Kobe 7. Oscar 8. BIrd
  14. Ya, I'm a little surprised, but we shouldn't be. We've seen what a Duncan n Pop team can do for a while now. They're good. More than that tho is that they know that their window is closing after this year. I'll bring up a quote from Tony Parker real quick: http://www.slamonline.com/online/blogs/the-links/2010/06/links-qa-with-tony-parker/ So they're playing motivated, and it's not a surprise because a healthy Spurs have always been capable of taking out any team in the league . The real surprise tho is NO.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTEwP2j9MCQ There's probably a few more from that game lol
  16. i know what spinmove ur talkin about. it was the one on amar'e that was reminiscent of the "Dream" move against Patrick Ewing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuSMjUTGQTg&feature=related Hopefully I can find a highlight of Griffin doin it.
  17. Tough loss for the Clippers especially with Griffins crazy game. But their young core has amazing potential. Too bad the Clippers are cursed. This reminds me tho of when I was hoping OKC got the #1 draft pick in 09, and now i'm just imagining what okc would be like if they did get him lol.
  18. Knicks keep pulling away. Credit Gallo for stopping all of Clippers momentum in the 4th quarter. Everytime Griffin had what seemed like a game changing dunk, Gallo squash it. Then cap it with a dagger dunk by Amar'e.
  19. gordon n griffin hah. Griffin's spinmove is getting him turnovers tho. its getting too predictable. definitely gotta watch the highlights for this game. about 4 times where griffins head reaches the height of the backboard.
  20. lol ppl shuld watch this game. the Gmen are goin hard at the rim here in the 3rd quarter.
  21. STAT vs. "Spin-move" Griffin. Sick matchup of PFs.
  22. wow rudy gay. that was a sick shot. and heat didn't foul?
  23. excellent screen by zach randolph to clear the lane for mike conley.
  24. 1. Playstation 2. Playstation 2 3. PC 4. N64 5. mm... Gameboy. The original I guess. Honorable mentions: Sega Genesis, PSP, SNES The original gameboys were huge lol.
