I'm starting to think Chris Paul is the best PG of all time...
Lemon replied to Poe's topic in Player Comparisons
It's not impossible, but even if he was the greatest PG of all time he wouldn't be recognized for it unless he begins a dynasty. Looking at his team right now, they'd be lucky to get to the Finals. That's because he doesn't have the team that Oscar, Stockton, Isiah, or Magic had. Magic was a great PG because he had one hell of a team, and CP3's team doesn't even touch it. -
^exactly. Both teams seem tired and for me... it's kinda boring despite being this close. Besides that last play by Roy, no one has the energy to drive to the lane resulting in mostly jumpers. It's just been more lucky for OKC.

Lol yea. I thought that was pretty funny. Camby doin alot of dirty work for his age.

lol at least he's finally playin his ball. good trade imo.

What I like about Kobe so far this season is that he's letting Pau facilitate the offense more. Kobe isn't at all dominating the ball like he was last season. You can see it in the numbers where Kobe is averaging 3 less fga than last season an Pau is averaging 5 more fga than last season. This is probably because Kobe wants to save his energy and the coaching staff wants Pau more involved, but I like the balance. I think though, that as Kobe gets more serious like say against the Heat or in the playoffs, he'll want to dominate the ball more. That's good if he's clicking, but he'll have to know when to run the offense.

Kings have some mouths on em. Hopefully the confrontation makes Kobe explode last 6 mins.

Exciting half. Had to be an oop thrown to at least 4 different players. Kobe did everything right and Barnes played perfect with the starters. The bench needs to step up though. Cousins seemed like he really wanted to show his post game to the best PF in the league. He was having a competitive one on one in the post with Pau until Pau starting schooling him defensively.

why does Collison and Granger have 15 cominbed FGA while Hibbert has 3?
-
Same reason Miami should win. Everyone's expecting the Heat to send a big message to back the 7 championship talk.

How do you think Roy Hibbert will do this season?
Lemon replied to a topic in Indiana Pacers Team Forum
Last season he averaged 11.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg, and 1.6 bpg. With Troy Murphy gone, you can bet his rebounds will go up and he'll be 2nd option depending on how Collison fits. Hibbert was never a great rebounder even with his height tho so in his 3rd year I predict. 14 - 16 ppg, 8 ~9rpg, and 1.8 bpg. A lil less than your predictions, but I recall him saying that his weight loss actually made it harder for him to rebound especially around the bigger centers. I'm hoping for him to have a break out year though. -
I hate that people will believe it just because the guy made a video. Really, it doesn't need to be said that it was a clean win.

Honestly multibillionaire, it sounds from ur name and what ur saying that you just came out of a get rich seminar. Maybe even a pyramid scheme.

Yep. Rich is subjective. To me, upper-middle class is rich. You have a nice house, 1 or 2 real nice cars, and you can afford lots of luxuries. Also upper-middle class depends on where you live. 250k should be upper class in LA, but it's upper-middle class in Manhattan. That Bill Gates, Oprah, Kobe money should be considered upper-upper class. Don't even touch on that.

A lot of friends i know hate Lakers and ride Boston. Sometimes it's because they just wanna be different. Sometimes it's because they don't like how the team runs. Sometimes it's just Kobe. It's annoying, but ppl have their reasons. I lived in CA all my life and I don't like any of the CA football teams. If Chargers somehow moved to LA, I probably still wouldn't like them.

From what I saw, Shannon Brown looks lost out there defensively and offensively. He'll never get good at running through screens. With the exception of Steve Blake, all the new additions look lost offensively. As far as rookies go, Ebanks is actually getting the offense pretty well. Caracter needs to do a lot more work on his offense. Overall tho, this team is just rusty. At least we got to see what the rotation is going to be during a season game. We also saw some team chemistry between Fish & Pau, Blake & 2nd unit. I'd really love to see Blake play with the starters.

I'd feel bad for these guys if they weren't all rich frat boys.

I'll go with Utah in that they may be better off without Boozer. They still have a solid back court and a solid front court except this time, I doubt they'll get swept in the playoffs again. I also agree with Wizards being a surprise. Out of all the teams that haven't made 500 last season, Wizards are the most likely to do it this season. Golden State can get there depending on how Coach Smart does.

Noah will not be dealt in any trade's for Carmelo
Lemon replied to magicbalala245's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
I wanted them to keep Noah so good. They need role players, and Boozer can't play center. Hopefully Bulls can get him in the offseason IF they can get rid of Deng's contract. Big If there because that is one bad contract. -
Not necessarily. All that is saying is that Dirk is a better scorer. Pau will never be a better 1st option than Dirk, but Dirk also will never be a better 2nd option than Pau. When all is said and done, Pau is a top 10 maybe even top 5 second option of all time. How good will Dirk rank as a scorer at the end of his career? If he's in a top20 then he's barely there.
-
The argument with Dirk vs Pau is that one can put a team on his back while the other has a better overall game. Dirk can't touch Pau's near flawless all-around game, but Pau could never toughen up to lead a team to over 54 wins.
