  1. The league misses Yao. I'm hoping for a complete season from him.
  2. Same here. Everytime i've seen granger he was useless. Iggy, Durant, and Gay have all proven to be better SF, but due to Granger's size and the lack of size in the team, i'm pretty sure he's staying. Also, I'd edge Gordon over Curry because his defense is so much better. If you've seen the USA vs. Lithuania game you'd know what I'm talking about.
  3. Also from that thread. from 92-23 season win percentage. There's more seasons in the thread. EDIT: I was a little mislead at first, but it looks like Bavetta is constantly showing the worst record when reffing the Bucks compared to other refs.
  4. LOL! I liked when the worst comment was made by that asian girl and she got that foot lonng knocked out of her hands. lol at "cmon CB" too. This wasn't recent though cus he still has his hair in this video.
  5. lol! but dick bavetta's stats for the whole league should be included as well to show a good comparison. Maybe he just doesn't like deer.
  6. Who's filling in the PF position for Pacers? That's some pretty big shoes to fill. Maybe Tyler Hansbrough gets some playtime this year. They also have plenty at the SG/SF position so maybe they're moving Dunleavy?
  7. Hopefully they fix 2k10 my player mode. I wasn't able to finish a playoff series because it froze. Stops right before the finals, too. Hopefully it isn't bad omen for my team :/. But Jam vs Jordan is tough... especially since Elite really improved on their gameplay. I'd say in the end, Jordan will win because people buy these games for a complete NBA simulation, and nothing's more complete than playing as the best team in NBA history.
  8. I was pretty scared for the kids' lives in there. They could've been stepped on at any time during the game. Also in the video: Green Ranger wins an MMA match. Pretty worth watching just for that.
  9. After reading more on the case, it seems that Kobe wasn't proven guilty nor innocent. So I was wrong about him being proven innocent. The case was dropped by the prosecutor. Obviously she could have been payed off, but looking at some of the evidence, the prosecutor was the least consistent and credible side throughout the whole case. -Sherlock Back to the topic though. Lebron is the most hated because he really hasn't developed a self-censor. When the media asks a question, he's not supposed to give his personal opinion. He's supposed give the most respectable and generic answer there is. He's not supposed to do a 1 hour special on his free agency signing, he's supposed to put out a 2 page "thank you" in a Cleveland magazine even if the profits of the 1 hour special were for charity. In the populations' eyes, you're either a role model or a bad guy. He's the most hated because it turns out he has the biggest spotlight and he's not a role model. He'll learn eventually though that he's supposed to be a role model and he'll develop a self-censor.
  10. It's funny how much wrong info spreads because people hate on kobe. The "rape" was proven to be consensual so it wasn't rape.
  11. 4 years younger than Bell and plays tough defense. Also a good hustle player that we've been missing since Ariza left. Cheap, good guard foward off the bench. Not a bad 3 pt shooter. Great pick up. Actually, if the source suggests that Barnes is going to shoot down a multi year offer for a one year offer, it looks like he's using the Lakers for leverage. It all depends on Cleveland.
  12. People already forget that Delonte West carries around a shotgun when he's on his motorcycle. If that's not cool then I dunno what is.
  13. Cleveland wasn't the problem at all. They got what they could to help Lebron get a chip. They brought in Shaq to dominate the block against the elite teams' bigs, and it helped against the Lakers and the Magic. They brought in a better 2nd option in Jamison for practically nothing. They also produced the 2nd best 3pt shooting team in the league. Credit Lebron for the open looks but it still takes a team full of sharpshooter to get that kind of results. Just because the Cavs weren't successful for another year doesn't make the team a failure. They were actually building well as a team. The problem was that they didn't have the right players to counter Boston's tough defense. Only the Lakers proved that they had that, and that was by a small margin. Without Bosh on Cavs, they would again be favorites as they were the last two years. Lebron was just pressured to finally win the title and the absolute best option to do that is at Miami. You can't ignore though that Cavs were title contenders and even favorites for the past two years going into the playoffs. But the article isn't only about that. It tells what Lebron was really looking for.
  14. If you're tired of reading about the recent free agency signings, make this your last one. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AkLouVXjb6QFFaEyKmpdWVq8vLYF?slug=aw-heatfreeagency071610 For those who don't know Woj, he's a yahoo sports writer who knows a ton that happens behind the media and in the front office. News that comes from him is most likely true. This article is basically what he knows about Lebron's free agency. And it's a lot. Keep in mind though that he's probably capitalizing on the Lebron hate coming from everywhere that's not Miami.
  15. Dalembert should start in front of Cousins.
  16. This. I didn't have an idea what I was doing for the first year and a half. But classes were fun and interesting. After a while, I lost some interest in the fun classes like psychology, music, and math then really tuned in on my major. There's enough time to try out some of the core classes of both computer science and physical therapy and some. But Biology is my major.
  17. Right. It's hard to compare a well put together core vs a mash up of all stars. But i'd compare this Miami team more to DrJ and Moses Malone in Philly. Both were at their prime when they were brought together and both were super stars. Even Bobby Jones can be compared to Bosh because they were both all stars. The only difference is that this Miami team has been brought together at a much younger age. And interesting enough, there was an article out comparing Lebron to Dr J. So this Dream Team idea isn't new.
  18. This movie was made a long time ago. I don't think this movie would have the same effect now as it did years ago where cinema wasn't as developed. I remember watching this movie when I was young thinking how scary it was. I watched it about ten years later and it really isn't that scary. It's more "crazy." It's even kinda boring to watch now.
  19. After Dan Gilbert's letter, it can't be anything else.
  20. Jordan Dynasty vs. 2011 Miami. That would be a sick matchup. 2k bought Jordan at the perfect time. Jordan vs Wade Lebron vs Scottie Rodman vs Bosh Bulls would still win imo.
  21. It's true though that going to Miami makes them favorites to win the finals. Joining any other team would still make the Lakers favorites. They're probably going to mesh well too. I'm pretty sure that a lot of other free agents are dying to get to the Heat now for a free ring.
  22. Projected 65 wins up from about 56 wins with just bosh and wade. Though the projection is usually conservative and Miami can easily beat the record 72 wins.
  23. Depending on Drew's health in the future, this could be a good or bad trade. I'd hate to trade away drew after all the potential and efficiency he's shown offensively. Even defensively he's shown that he could utilize his length well. But it's about time to stop betting on potential. Also, looking at Drew's salary, he's scheduled take a 3m increase after the 2010-2011 season. This could be a good incentive for the front office to trade him away.
  24. The East should be fun if this happens. Bron and Bosh on Bulls, CP3 and D12 on Magic, and Flash and STAT in Miami should make the league epic.
  25. Wooo! Glad for the win! This game was horrible to watch as a Laker fan from the beginning till the start of the fourth. I'm surprised we got out of that one alive, but it seems that Lakers outlasted the Celtics! Good seeason.
