good defensive game by the lakers. offensively, they did a good job in getting to the paint except when Kobe wanted to take over in the 4th. Next games I see the Thunder going more to Westbrook and Durant being actually playing better. Kobe still doesn't have his shot back, but his overall game was great especially defensively.

A bit late, but this movie was actually stunning visually. Imagine Avatar with Shrek-like graphics. I really liked the movie, and it's definitely been overlooked. Watch it in IMAX 3-D if you can.

You're right, it isn't as bad as some people say, but it does affect his handling which is why he's mostly dribbling on his left. Thunder should make him go to his right. Great power shown by gasol

right off the bat, i love how they're aggressive about getting the ball into the paint. Hopefully they can keep that mentality throughout the series as that is the obvious answer. EDIT: also Thunder look nervous about their debut.

damn. smith-melo 1-2 punch right here. Nothing Jazz could really do about it. Then again, this was on their homecourt. This may turn out to 7 games with each team winning at their own home court. EDIT: Actually, I take that back. Nuggets in 6. Jazz played a good game too but didn't match up in the end.

If anything, I think that Laker fans' voices seem smaller since there's a lot of us. As for teams that are in the minority, you represent your team so it's assumed that you know your team a lot more than I do. The reason why I come here is because I want to know basketball in all perspectives, not just the Laker side.

What I'm saying is that one game doesn't determine the better team. That's why playoffs series are 7 games. I don't like the way Blazers are going either. Oden is a wild card and Andre Miller isn't going to be there forever. Thunder has a more stable core with a lot more potential, and if they get a solid, young free agent big then the only thing they're missing is experience. The way they're building has been just about flawless. Blazers have ton of depth ya, but if they're going to stick with Oden I just don't think they'll be elite because that's relying on an inconsistency.

Bobcats are crazy athletic and they can turn this into a 7 game series. Bobcats won their last encounter at Orlando without G Wallace, but Magic have good momentum going into the playoffs. Another fun series to watch along with the Lakers vs Thunders.

Great matchup. We have a good chance to win, but more importantly the Thunder will force our team to play better. Now that sounds obvious, but with a solid defensive SG, good team defense, and 2 explosive scorers, the Thunder will really make us have to improve our overall game. The Thunder are capable of an upset, but out of the bottom 3 in the west they're less likely to upset than the Spurs but more so than Portland.

Mikie. Don't know what you guys see in Miranda. Her head seems really unproportional and quite honestly makes her look a lot younger than i'd like.

The biggest concern for the Cavs after signing Lebron is Shaq who as you said would be a big part of winning this year's championship. Shaq will be 39 and he's just about done. After that you'll once again have a weakness in defending big men. Hickson and Varejao can't do the same thing Shaq does. They're not even close to being as physically dominant as Shaq is even at age 39. They'll out hustle the big men, I'll give them that, but as far as being able to push them around, they won't can't at all. When Shaq leaves, Orlando will once again be a scarier team. They have more depth and they have better big men. After Shaq there's a concern with Jamison. He won't stop scoring, but he'll stop being a reliable second option. Then it's back to Mo Williams as a second option, and well Lebron can honestly do better. In the time that Jamison is a good 2nd option I would say you guys can get 2 championships max. Honestly, if Lebron wants a dynasty he'd go to New York or Nets. They have the market right now to build a potentially greater dynasty with Amar'e, Joe Johnson, David Lee, or whoever. If he wants to be the greatest in history and a billionaire, he's got to go to the bigger market.

There was security close enough to help at any sign of a finger to the ear. They would've gotten him before he ran off. I'm not saying that it's some monumental racist move either. The guy deserved an apology after that because the customer service lady caused blatant dissatisfaction. And i understand that the apology was probably left out of the guy's little video blog, but it's something that no valued customer should go through even if it's routine. It really is offensive.

She was obviously threatened if she went to signal for security. If she wasn't threatened she wouldn't have signaled security. Ya, no small talk can put someone under suspicion but there was no other indication that the man was a threat. He said he was wearing a jersey and some shorts. That doesn't sound like a threat at all. Say if he were grab the laptop and run, there's obviously security there to stop him. This is an example of a quick trigger that shouldn't have been pulled. And if nothing is really wrong, why is the customer offended?

The girl felt threatened because the guy who asked for the mac was black. That's racial profiling. If it had been a white guy, she wouldn't have overreacted the way she did. I imagine that the girl wouldn't admit she's racist, but the fact that she was threatened proves that she's implicitly racist. She was probably embarrassed after this happened as she should be. Really though, racial profiling is offensive and until you have authorities come up to you just because people feel threatened by your presence, I don't think you'll understand. Wasn't Apple's fault either, it was just one girl's fault.
