I wouldn't know since I don't watch the Heat play often, and judging by Lakers play neither do they. The sad part is that Lakers shot 50% too.
-
Blah our defense wasn't there at all. And at the same time Heat didn't miss at all. I kept looking at Haslem for a miss from midrange but they kept going in. QRich made Kobe pay for constantly giving him space too. But I seriously hope you guys don't think that the calls were favoring the Lakers

Best Ever NBA Posterizations Mix
Lemon replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
Scottie Pippens and Corey Brewer are my favorites in this one. Gotta love how bad Fish takes it haha. -
This proves that D'antoni obviously doesn't know how to handle attitudes and egos. Not all Nate's and Marbury's fault. Though a lot of it probably was.

^ Yep I've noticed Kobe doing this lately. He also did this on Terry when he was called for a foul behind the arc.

Random NBA thoughts I was going to start off with some guard problems for the Lakers, but those are plenty and obvious. So i'll start with Durant. Durant's streak finally came to an end against the Spurs. And I was pretty much expecting it. With Pop's D and slow pace. AND on the tail end of a back to back against the fast paced phoenix? It was the perfect setup to an end.It was a good streak though. 29 games of 25+ which is close as anyone can get to that Jordan record. It's pretty amazing to see the kid score. I mean I was watching that Thunder-Knick game, and KD was great to watch. There was one moment where I had gotten a drink and came back with them coming out of a timeout down 3 with a few seconds to go. Durant had a very distinct look. He didn't at all look like Kobe's look of confidence and arrogance before he takes the game in the last second. He didn't even look calm like Jordan would while chewing his gum before that last shot. Instead, he looked determined. What was next was a great hoist that tied the game sending it to overtime and an eventual win for the Thunder. Exciting. I hope he improves all faucets of his game over the next few years because he can be Hall of Fame material. Or not. I also doubt that he will catch up to Lebron in terms of dominance. Then I remember he's only 21. Which brings me to a Laker, Bynum. This guy is the most polarizing guy for Laker fans. Everyone loves Kobe and respects Fisher. They even give Farmar slack because he's off the bench. But for Bynum, it's either that he's lazy and slow as hell or the guy has one hell of a post-game. Either way, he's only 22. And maybe you do or you don't realize that he will be one of the best centers in the league. He has the perfect environment to improve to do so. He had KAJ teach him alot in the post and then he has Pau to (hopefully) teach him how to pass in the post. Once he figures out the defensive parts of the game, he'll be pretty great. He'll never be as good in defensive rotations as Pau, but hey, that's okay because we actually do have Pau.

She's the devil. Lol but before you pointed that out, she looked pretty cute. Now this is just a weird picture all together.

If Roy plays hurt all year
Lemon replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
I would say so. They're a good group even without Roy. Also, Hornets are missing CP3 so I doubt they'll catch up. The other two teams that are in the playoff race are Memphis and Houston. Blazers are better than those 2 teams even with an injured Roy. -
It'd be great if it happens, but looking at the schedule it seems like there's a big test on Wednesday against the Spurs. If he can get 25+ on that he'll be challenged again by the Nuggets. If that doesn't stump him, then he's well on his way to breaking one of the Jordan records.

2/21/10 Alright so I bought two sets of headphones at a discount store and I felt I got a good deal on them. They were both less than $10 and I spend only 17 for both. I bought one so I can plug into my ipod since the ones i have for those broke. That came with two so I was expecting it to be whack. I bought the other one so I can really enjoy music when I can because my laptop doesn't have any bass at all. Those do have really good bass, but the treble was horrible. It makes my music sound so compressed. So if you can imagine me listening to Common's "Be," the jazzy bass line was going along great, and it would seem like I would love these headphones. Then comes the string section and I'm pissed. Oh well, that's what i get for being cheap. I'll get used to the sound.

I have to say this is a great Idea for a community this size. So here's my first blog. Music Music is my life. Actually it isn't, but it'd be great if it is. I'm a bio major going through my 2nd year at a university in California and if life was perfect, music would be my life. I was raised with a lot of music background. For example I played piano since I was around 8, marching band one year in high school, and I'm as good as any asian dude trying to impress a lady with the guitar. Don't get my wrong though. I'm not good. I play for myself and only myself. I've never even really played for my girlfriend of 1 and a half years. I believe that music is only for myself. Maybe that's selfish but my main thought behind it is that I never wanna show off... or be embarrassed . What does that show? it shows that I'm very self conscious in general but also with my music. But I do really wanna learn more about music because of what it does for me every time I get into it. Now I don't wanna sound like those stereotype douche poets, but music can get really intense with me. I'll play a single song on the piano for 2 to 3 months until i get tired of it. The first few weeks is me learning the piece, but the other months is me enjoying every section of song. At first I'll have one favorite part of the song then another time I'll have another favorite that didn't stick out to me at first. At times I won't even play the whole song, and instead I'll be playing just the harmonies (which for those who don't know, can be described as the parts that aren't the melody). This does get annoying though because I do get tired of playing a single piece over and over. And it's a shame because i've gotten tired of some of my favorite songs. It's just that there are songs that you just wanna really immerse yourself into in more than the sound. And I'm sure that alot of you guys have that feeling at times. So here I am wishing I was more of a music person. I'm not though. I'm taking some beginner music classes to try to improve, but those are just classes on theory. What I think I really need is some actual mentor or something that can help me out person to person. That would be great, but that's also too much to ask for especially if I'm not a music major. I figure that maybe I can try to get in a class later on in my life so I'm hopeful. What I really wanna learn is some jazz improv. I'll get there.

Yep. There were plenty that Brown and Gasol blew during the end of the 4th. But this just comes to show how great our back court is without Kobe.
-
Fish didn't come thru! aww man!
-
I really doubt that Kobe would shake ends or w.e. This was a tough loss and people take tough losses bad.
-
This was the first star vs star matchup that Lebron lost. I'd take it badly too especially in OT.
-
Yikes. Lebron certainly has the strength to pull a long one at the end of an OT. That's not even sarcasm either.
-
Melo!! You're finally clutch!!

The Clippers helped Cleveland...
Lemon replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
wishful thinking . It may be possible that Lebron leaves though since Ferry has surrounded him with a front court of pretty old people. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jamison acquisition hurt that situation more than it helped. Unless Cleveland somehow gets Amar'e, I don't see a dynasty even if Lebron chooses to stay. There's a good chance of 1 championship though. -
Update: Rockets, Kings, Knicks three-way
Lemon replied to Real Deal's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
The three team trade talks have been revived so it could have been a bluff to get more out of the trade from New York. It seems like Morey is just [expletive]ing with Walsh right now. -
Kobe Likely To Miss All-Star Game
Lemon replied to MainEv3nt's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Kobe would've made that buzzer beater -
I wasn't watching but this game said alot about the two teams. It says that VC can't be consistent and that Cavs are rolling.

Hey guys. Lemon here, formerly gogglesnapron. I just thought I'd give a proper introduction instead of postin from nowhere. I'm a Laker fan from California. But I like this place and I'll do my best to contribute.

Gotta go with Redick on this one. Brown is great, but he has a weird game. It'd be great if he was more of a slasher, but he likes the jump shot too much imo. If Brown was really aggressive then it's Brown hands down, but sometimes I wonder why he's afraid to attack the basket. Redick has the better shot, range, and handle which is great for that height. I can say though that Brown is really good at sneaking under the basket where a great passer, Gasol, can easily find him.

lol <3 Odom. He knows how to step up.
