lol I love how Joakim Noah plays. I think he scared LO to [expletive] in one play and when he drew a foul he yells "thanks you!" to the ref. Gasol is playing great though.

I'm impressed with Darren Collison in this one. He showed good decision making towards the end of the game and actually showed flashes of good defense. One play in particular was when he had the ball in clutch time and instead of leaving it to Devin Brown who was kinda demanding it, he utilized his quickness for a good layup that sealed the game. Also only 1 TO for the rookie that came from a scramble after he stole the ball. Good win for NO without CP3.

Wuut no one else is watching this game? The announcers are really boring but Peja just shot a 3 from space and now rookie Collison threw down another 3 after Phoenix failed to convert.
-
Phoenix was controlling the tempo from the getgo, but Stojakovic is just having a stellar nostalgic night plus rebounds and minus zombie. If Phoenix loses here, rebounds will be the story. I like the energy that rookie Marcus Thorton is bringing.

Can't wait to see the offense with Gasol back in it. Odom back in the second unit, Gasol doing some low post genius, and who knows maybe Kobe will join in the paint too. The whole thing makes me smile.

Lol well ya, you're right. Didn't think about the Mav's side. It was a good win by them. Dirk came through as always.

This would've been a great win for the Spurs without Parker and Ginobli. Oh well, Duncan did all he could.

wow TD is still clutch

Kobe impossible over the shoulder flip shot vs Pistons

I don't think they're bad. I've heard worse though. Regarding the shot though, he's shot many of kind of shots and missed. Those are the shots that you don't remember. He just throws it up there whenever he thinks he got fouled. So ya I think it's mostly luck. -
4th quarter. J Johnson and/or J Crawford should start to click for a hot hand.

Right, but compared to a guard in this league 33 isn't that old at all. I can see him already getting slower in defense, that's been in decline for a while. Otherwise, Duncan isn't known for his athleticism at all. He still is a threat and put him on PF then his defense isn't as much a liability as people think it would be(it isn't). Then you can compare his defense with CB's, who isn't exactly a monster on that side of the court, and you can see Duncan is still better defensively by a lot. Offensively, Duncan is still very experienced, substantially smarter, and infinitely more skilled. EDIT: I made it sound like the gap between the two offensively was big when really it's pretty close due to CB's athleticism.

List 1 good thing for when Gasol comes back
Lemon replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Kobe out of the post and back as a shooter threat. Don't get me wrong. He's good there and I'm sure he'll go there from time to time, but recently he's been abusing the spot and in all honesty he hasn't has as much experience in the area as a big. Once he gets doubled at the post by a good defensive team he's very vulnerable. Also, as a team we're missing his outside presence. We're still the best offensive team in the paint when Gasol comes in, but we've been missing Kobe's play making abilities from the outside. -
Duncan easily. He's just better all around. They don't call him the big fundamental for nothing. And people forget that he's only 33. It's not that old for a big.

Mavs and Suns can give trouble to any of those three teams. Houston is still the team that can push anyone to 7 games by shear willpower. But imo, it's way too early in the season to tell where these guys are placed in playoff rankings. I agree with the article though. Even if Lakers were with Pau Gasol, we still may have lost. The Nugget's bigs weren't the problem, it was the scoring of Smith and Anthony while the team played good defense. All together, Nuggets are a Western Elite. As far as NBA elite though, I'd say they're the Portland of the West in that they're almost there but they're still missing something.

Wow. Who would've thought Frye was a marksman. He's proving to be a much better center than Shaq in this system. Two of the best offenses went head to head here and the home team barely won. Gotta catch these two teams go at it again.
-
lol. I've never expected much from the guy. Even if he's the top scorer on the Nets in that game, they're probably going to lose and I expect him not to get over 24pts even with a hot hand.
-
Lol Sasha. He had no place in that argument. Kobe had it under control.

Cleveland played great last night and I think it will carry over. I really haven't seen Miami play this season enough to make a good prediction, but just judging by the way the Cav's offense is flowing right now, I'd give it to them. I'm expecting Mo Williams to have another good shooting night, close to 50% fg.
-
Lol it should. It was made 10 years before.

I wanna play this game. I remember playing Beatmania which was kinda like this but had a synthesizer with 5 keys (C-E) and one turntable. I dunno if anyone remembers it but that game was really fun. This game looks more complicated but still a lot of fun.
-
I think this one goes to Lakers after Suns pulled off a 40 pt 1st quarter last night. Then again, sometimes Steve Nash never seems to get tired.

Who will be the Bucks leading scorer?
Lemon replied to Jenneral's topic in Milwaukee Bucks Team Forum
Wow, Brandon Jennings is playing phenomenal right now. He may not be experienced in the NBA but he's been in a pro league before averaging 5.5 ppg and 2.3 apg. He's right when when he said that he has sort of an advantage over rookies for this experience. Btw in googling him for his euro stats I read someone say this and I chuckled. -
Right. This one was robbed. I feel for them, even more so after tonight's loss against Toronto where they ended flat during the 3rd and 4th.
-
Judging by his stat line, Ben Wallace is still underrated and he loves it in Detriot.

i'm not watching, but is Hinrich trying to do some pretty passes to get those Turnovers?
