  1. Ouch this feels like lebrons first years in Miami. This team needs some work
  2. This HAS to be a win because a loss against a team starting Curry is bad news. What I'd like to see in this game is how well Lakers can defend against fast guards.
  3. It's hard to believe that Beasley could lead the Suns to the playoffs, and the Blazers lineup is a borderline playoff team on paper. A healthy Golden State would be the safe answer.
  4. I separated my original post to keep the discussion more generalized. Guards: Harden - With the trade to Houston, some would say that his value is unknown. Some questions would be if he can play with Lin or if he can handle the defensive focus. I would say the answer is simply, yes. He can play off the ball, and defensive focus isn't new him. He'll just be better than last year. I'm just wondering where it puts him now in terms of draft position. Potentially, his numbers can match Wade's last season. At the least, his numbers will match last season's. I don't see it dropping at all. Lillard - People already know, but he's going to compete with Davis for ROY. He plays with a lot of confidence. He doesn't seem shy at all, and I'd draft him just to give me another excuse to watch him play. Forwards/Centers: Asik- I seem to be the only person who thinks this guy is a sleeper. I liked what I saw in him in Chicago. Defensively I'm expecting his numbers to go higher than that off what we've seen in pre-season. Offensively, he has the potential to be decent if he can play the PnR nearly as efficiently as Chandler did with Lin. He's already shown a lot of what can do on the boards. Roy Hibbert - This guy always seems to be a sleeper for me. Of course, that could just be me overestimating him, but his numbers constantly improve every year. I doubt this year will be an exception. Everything about him is solid. Agree/Disagree?
  5. I would like to see Mayo have a breakout season, but there's something in Memphis that says he stays more or less the same. I'm looking for something different in his new role at Dallas. Klay Thompson seems to have improving his play pretty fast throughout last season. He just got better and better, and during preseason it seems that none of that went away. For Power Forward I put Griffin because let's face it, he's talented and hard working. His post game needs work, and he's been trying it out for quite a while so I'm thinking it'll be noticeably improved this season. Defensively, he's going to learn how to defend without flopping, and he will because he's a fast learner and he's strong.
  6. I'm sure you guys want to keep your secrets about fantasy basketball, but a lot of other people are in a league so why not talk about it.
  7. Looks like Miami is giving Wade time at the PG? and Ray Allen looks like the same Ray Allen. If Miller gets the touch like he did tonight, leave those two out on the floor and the offense is set. I'm not sold on Lewis though. Davis was good, but I feel bad for Rivers.
  8. Davis was making some ridiculous plays, and I can't be the only one that noticed that he bulked up.
  9. I liked what was going on with duhon with the exception of him shooting in transition. The rest of the second unit just look lost though. You know something is wrong when sacre is having to shoot the ball. Otherwise, the starters looked fun. Great defensive energy, but offensively you can tell they lacked chemistry. there was some rust, but I was just too excited to see dh with a laker uni
  10. Lol wtf did I just read. We already know basically what each team has to offer by 2014. Lakers have Howard and a big market. Heat have bosh, wade, and are at and advantage for being the team that Lebron is currently on. What can pat Riley do to the core to make it that much provocative?
  11. The season started out right where it left off. The kid is supposed top be more of a badass I guess. Great cliff hangers just as usual too.
  12. Utah @ Lakers Jamison is starting to look pretty comfortable out there. Offensively, he's able to find his spots, but he seems really focused in defensively. Of course, he's playing against a 2nd unit of a preseason team, but I like the focus. I liked how Kanter was schooling Sacre out there with different looks of moves and counter moves. Sacre needs these pre season games where he's being challenged on the defensive side, especially since he wants to be known defensively. On the boards and screen an rolls, he's looking to be very productive. Sacre has the potential to be a very good role player. People I'm still waiting on: Meeks and Pau.
  13. That was pretty scary. Loved how casually he landed though
  14. I kind of want to watch this new season but haven't watched the last one. Should I just skip over or is the last season actually worthwhile?
  15. I doubt Iggy would have too big of a trouble considering he's a great player who'll play under a great coach. Coach Karl will find a place for him. The article says that his skillset is redundant, but his athleticism fits in perfectly in what will be a very athletic and intimidating starting 5. One player that should be obvious is Jeremy Lin. He loses a lot of weapons going from Knicks to Rockets, and while those turnovers will remain high, the assists will decrease.
  16. I geeked out more than i thought i would seeing Nash in a Lakers uniform. Seeing him play, I'm even more excited. I wonder how it'll be when DH comes on. This'll be a fun season.
  17. Lol drop it asap. It only gets worse. Physics, gchem, ochem are all things you should avoid in college if you can. take up a non major bio class. I say non major because premeds mess up the curve in their major.
  18. Solid signings, great picks. He reliably comes through with new hope every season.
  19. Pretty cool of him to answer all these questions. Any franchise would be lucky to have Morey as a GM.
  20. i tried watching the season with David Tenant, and it all just seemed like they stuck to one formula. is it any different now?
  21. the word that's being tossed around is that apple has people on an "upgrade treadmill." I think it's because the iPhone is great and people just want to have the next upgrade. Even though there probably are some equivalent phones, Apple products tend to be more associated with words like sleek, popular, smooth, and even cutting edge by the population.
  22. Scoring champion - Kevin Durant Rebound leader - Kevin Love Assist - cp3 Blocks - Serge Ibaka Steals- Rondo, but cp3 had about the same chances NBA MVP - Lebron James Defensive Player of year - Dwight Howard Most Improved Player - John wall Rookie of year - the brow
  23. Bynum for Howard is, yeah, better and not way better. But add that with Nash replacing Sessions, adding Meeks and Jamison? That's adding solid foundation to a big gaping hole in the roster. That's way better.
  24. ^wtf? stupid pic. you high? The video actually shows a humble Rose that a lot of fans don't see from other players. Not many other players realize how lucky they are just to be playing for the NBA.
