Stephen Curry injures ankle...again
ChosenOne replied to Real Deal's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
Smh. So what else is new? -
I ended up watching the first quarter of this game before work last night and boy was it bad for the Nets. I believe they started the game off with 3 straight turnovers for points, and then continued to make the Celtics defense look great (what this preseason has been a bad defense). Was a bit disappointing to watch.
-
Well Smith has gone up against two very respectable defenses. He ain't gonna put up numbers against defenses like the Giants and Seahawks. You guys win due to that defense and running game and that's how you guys won today.

Contract year players that will break out?
ChosenOne replied to AboveLegit's topic in General NBA Discussion
With the squad that they have Curry could average 18-10 but his right ankle is always the issue. He really needs to stay healthy this year. -

Smith should also be kept out. He averaged 19-10-4 last year, and this year with JJ gone will only get more touches and looks. I expect 22-11-6 from his this year. But besides him it's going to be OJ Mayo. He's finally a starter and is actually needed to shoot and score for them to win. Mans gonna have a few monster game this year. Could easily see him averaging around 20-5-5 as long as he gets 32+minutes. -
Player You Hate the Most On Your Team?
ChosenOne replied to Sħãlïq™'s topic in General NBA Discussion
They are the two best players on your team. They are the only reason your team has attracted free agents. They are the only reason you guys ain't the worst team in the league still. Also you hate the two best players. You hate the organization as they have decided to stick with these players. So why are you still a fan of the clippers then? -
That looks sick man! Looking forward to seeing what comes out of it.

If you put these two teams against each other...
ChosenOne replied to kingfish's topic in General NBA Discussion
I don't know about the first team scoring 105 lol they really only have Howard that can score and even he is gonna be going up against a 7 foot Lopez. The rest a flat out garbage offensively. I also don't think team one would crush team two. They might win sure but the offensive players that team two has are good ass players. Martin, Love, and Maggette would find ways to score. And Love and Lopez would do just as much work on the glass as Davis and Howard. Really think it would be a double overtime game resulting in a win to team one. Davis hitting a half court three pointer ftw. -
Lakers eyeing LeBron in 2014?
ChosenOne replied to AboveLegit's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Well no one is against one player staying with one team. It's just become the nature of the NBA superstar to want to join forces with a couple other stars to win. And honestly you can't blame them for it, why would anyone want to stick with an organization for years and years only to lose and not improve? Take Kevin Love for example his contract is up after 2014 (i think) And if they still are a team that doesn't make the playoffs or are an easy first round out why would he stick around? Shit he really would be a fool to stick around. -

What are the chances of LA pulling this off? lets just say better than any other team in the NBA. Once LA sets their mind on grabbing a player the chances of them grabbing him are VERY good. Look at the Howard situation. -
Kevin Love out 6-8 weeks with broken hand
ChosenOne replied to Real Deal's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
Yeah I figured it was going to be something along those lines. Personally could very much see them holding him out till the beginning of 2013, as a precaution seeing he's super young and at this point there is no need to rush him back. -

NBA to limit pregame routines to 90 seconds

How do ppl even come up with shit like this? Does the NBA have a dumbass new rule quota they have to meet? -

Do the Raptors Have an Allstar?
ChosenOne replied to DunkinDerozan's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
I would have have to agree and say no one. Do the Raptors have player that can be all stars statically? Yes I think both Lowry and Bargs will have the numbers to be an allstar but as well all have seen in the past (monte, DWill, ect) only numbers don't make it happen. For anyone on the Raptors squad to become an allstar would require to team as a whole to be killing record wise, and I mean well over .500 and that I don't see happening. And when it comes to Derozan, I don't think he will ever be an allstar. Yes he's young and shows potential but his play just doesn't seem to be evolving. IMO I think he will never be more than a third option on a good team. -
Yeah idk about this. Irving will be a great pg when it's all said and done but idk about better than Rose. Seeing like Brandon mentioned he has an MVP already and has already carried his team into a top three record in the league. I don't see Irving being a pg that can carry his team night in and night out unlike Rose. With that being said I think Irving will be a top 5 pg next year (due to rise being hurt). Boy is gonna kill shit next year.

Rockets Coaches: Lin Needs to Work Harder
ChosenOne replied to NomarFachix's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Well im not saying this because of his bad game im saying this because by the time the season starts hes gonna be on his 7-8 month after surgery. That's plenty of time to healthy and back to form. -

That's not about responsibility, thats being business smart. He knew his payday was coming so why risk re-injury and less money. He also knew that the Knicks squad wasn't going no where so there really wasnt a point to step on the court. Any player in his shoes would have made damn sure to keep his ass on the bench in street clothes.
