I was a little worried about West Virginia at the beginning, but they made a little run in the last two minutes are tied the game up. Hopefully they build on the momentum in the second half.
-
4-23 shooting for the Big Three this half, wow.
-
Is that Wade's first T of the year? Looked like pretty good defense to me.
-
Mike Bibby just needs to retire, he hasn't done squat for Miami outside of setting solid screens as Hubie Brown always says.
-
I'm glad the refs are letting both teams play for the most part. Wade is complaining every single time, I don't get how he or Lebron never get hit with t's.
-
Ibaka really needs to work on that midrange jumpshot, he's missing way too many open looks. Also Westbrook needs to be more of a factor for OKC next half, the pace just for the Thunder just isnt the same with him out.
-
OKC is killing Miami on all these back door cuts. They've got atleast 3 dunks/layups like that in this quarter. Wade with a ridiculous poster. That was sick.
-
Thunder are beating Miami at their own game, running the floor really well early.
-
Yeah. He's a Trevor Ariza clone with more upside.
-
Is it me or does Perkins look a lot more lean? He's in OKC shape, conditioned and ready to run.
-
And as for pg, John Wall is the obvious choice but I also wouldn't mind Kirk Heinrich, Tony Parker, Ty Lawson, or Raymond Felton.
-
^Wes Matthews, Nicholas Batum, Aaron Afflalo, or Dannillo Gallinari, with our current team. We need role players, not another star like Danny Granger. Plus I like the upside and youth for all three of the guys that I mentioned.

Terrible pass on his part, but Melo still wouldn't have had enough time to put a shot up before the time expired. It's impossible to get a shot out of your hands in .03 seconds from that range. Their best bet would have been to throw a lob up to Amare, but the Pacers made sure they put multiple bodies on him.

Fredette's Family Would Prefer He Join Knicks
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
^Well he is a defensive liability (probably his only glaring weakness as a college player) at this point so I'm positive that he's not going to start for any team. He'll more than likely have to ride the bench and sure up his defense for a couple seasons before seeing a starting role anyway. With the Knicks he'll be an excellent sixth man, and since Mike doesn't preach defense he'll fit right in. I can see him putting up double digit figures with NY on a nightly basis. -
Ford: Irving to Return on Friday?
The Regime replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in General NCAA Discussion
Eh, I'm still going to stick with San Diego State. -
Nice to see him get some recognition because he seriously has played some top notch defense this season. But it's quite obvious that Dwight is going to win DPOY again, no guy makes a bigger impact defensively than him. You take him off the team, and you're looking at one of the worst defensive teams in the league if not the worst.

Wallace promoted to starting five over Camby
The Regime replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
Gerald Wallace plays the four, LA plays the five. In a playoff series I'm pretty sure McMillan would start Camby at the five, especially when you consider how well Bynum has been playing since the allstar break. AB has just dominated the glass, if Portland wants to get abused in the paint then they'll stick with Gerald Wallace on hopes of outrunning and tiring us out but that wont work. Their best bet is to match our size. And btw, Gerald Wallace is a really good rebounder for his size but this strategy will only be successful against smaller teams. Against us Portland will be lucky to win one game. -

Here's a topic I got off RealGM, thought it would make for some good discussion. If you could add one player to your team, who's not an all-star, who would it be? Would you base it off team needs, or would you acquire one of the best guys available and build your team around them?

Marcus Thornton, best scorer in the NBA?
The Regime replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Sacramento Kings Team Forum
I think the better question to ask is whether Thortons play makes Tyreke replaceable. Tyreke certainly didn't improve any facet of his game this season, and we all know that Thorton was one of the most explosive bench scorers in the league when he played for the Hornets. Or even better yet, the Kings can try and shop Beno Udric and perhaps start Tyreke at pg. Tyreke/Thorton/Cousins, make those guys untradeable and build around them. -
Boozer is already out for this game, but it looks like they might also be without Noah. Rose knows what's at stake though, a #1 seed. The Bulls wont give away games. I'm expecting nothing less than an ass whooping.
