We're making Cartier Martin look like Kevin Durant.

Took the Wizards nearly 10 minutes to realize that they could run on us and score every time. And now we're down six.

Who's on your All-Star teams
The Regime replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in General NBA Discussion
Paul George better make the all-star team this season. I'd take him over Paul Peirce and Luol Deng. I also think Westbrook and Z Bo should be starting for the West. Other then that I agree with the teams that CF posted up. -

And he just had a nasty step back over Mills. My god Lillard is just unreal. -
San Antonio at Portland

Lillard has his jumpshot going today, nice to see him get out that shooting slump from the past couple games. -
Moral victories are starting to pile up.

Can you blame Kobe for taking tough contested shots in tight games? He found Meeks and Ebanks for wide open looks on back to back possessions but they couldn't capitalize.
-
Start the half by switching all screens, Knicks catch on, Felton takes advantage, and D'Antoni makes no adjustments. Also I hate Jamison.

Playoffs are looking like a pipe dream.
-
It's like we don't even know our defensive assignments. Guys are scrambling every single possession.
-
Well looks like we've already given up, chucking up three's left and right.
-
Pull Duhon out of the [expletive]ing game already.
-
Too many "one shot and done" possessions. Guys gotta crash.
-
That's probably not in our best interest.

Laker turnover issue is overrated
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Well damn it, I should have used a more reliable website lol. I knew that number didn't look right. Kinda tosses my whole argument out the window. Lock this shit up lol. -
I knew Mo was going to take the final shot of the game just based on the last two shots that he missed. Green couldn't have defended that any better.

I have a good feeling about tonight. We're due for a big win.

All I've hearing this season is that we need to limit turnovers. Kobe in particular has preached it multiple times, the most recent being his interview with Stephen A.So I was a little curious and decided to dive into the stats a little. As a team we're averaging 13.1 turnovers per game which actually isn't bad at all, as a matter of fact that's the 5th least in the league. However, with that being said Kobe leads the league in turnovers with 84, and Dwight is sixth with 73. That's 3.8 and 3.3 turnovers per game respectively. Our two best players are responsible for over half the team turnovers, this is concerning but at the time I'm not too worried. There are a couple things to consider. For one, it's hard for me to imagine that those numbers wont go down as the season progresses and team chemistry strengths. Both guys are high IQ players so that wont last very long. Secondly, Steve Nash's return will have a huge impact on both guys. Kobe wont have to handle the ball and create as much, and Dwight wont have to score and create out of the post as much. Turnovers go hand in hand with our poor transition defense. I can almost guarantee that both of these issues will be resolved to a good extent as the season progresses. Laker fans just need to wait it out and be patient.

dat killa instinct hun?

I don't scrutinize Doc a whole lot, but the plays at the end of regulation and in OT was terrible. Couldnt end hit rim on either attempt.
-
Celts cant protect the rim to save their lives. Collison and Mayo are getting to the rack at will.
-
Why does Doc continue to go to Rondo for gamewinners?

Kobe interview with Stephen A. Smith
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
He's not fit for D'Antoni's system. I'm sick of people saying that we need to give Pau more of an opportunity in the post. He was good a couple years ago, not now. Dude can barely elevate and finish over opposing big men. You add all that to the fact that he doesn't play a lick of defense (struggles with his lateral movement and slow on his rotations), and you get a guy who is easily replaceable. Laker fans have already thrown out the idea of starting Jordan Hill over him, its that bad. -
Gotta get the ball to Ray Allen, he's by far the most clutch player on the team.
