  1. Westbrook will forever be scrutinized until he accepts his role on the team. He needs to stop being the hero, those last two minutes were dreadful to say the least.
  2. Kevin Martin is keeping OKC in the game. Game shouldn't even be close considering how bad Durant and Westbrook have played. Lou Williams is putting his stamp on the 4th quarter. Hopefully he can close it out for the Hawks.
  3. JJ Reddick is gunning for sixth man of the year. Orlando as a team is playing a lot better than most people expected.
  4. I'm not going to get my hopes up. With the way we've played defense anything is possible.
  5. I'm having flashbacks of the Giants-Bucs game from week 2.
  6. How the hell did the Raiders contain Charles lol? Doug Martin is running wild.
  7. Bucs are super underrated. Almost every one of their losses have come down to the wire. Josh Freeman is tearing it up this season and Doug Martin is starting to come alive in the second half of the season.
  8. Two words.....Brandon Marshall. Dude is a straight up savage.
  9. Chris Paul got to the rim at will in the last two minutes of the game. About time someone stepped up and drew a charge.
  10. Lillard had his fingerprints all over that OT period. I really like the Blazers starting five, even though their frontcourt is undersized. Team would be legit if they had a bench.
  11. [expletive]ing Steve Blake and Pau messing up the little momentum that we picked up.
  12. Harden is making me eat crow. I'm going to stick by what I said though, and hope that the first couple games were a fluke.
  13. 21 and 7 for Lillard tonight, and only two turnovers. He's going to run away with ROY at this rate. Blazers could be something special if their bench wasn't so mediocre. Arguably the worst in the league.
  14. Bulls can still ball without Rose, they might be better than I expected this season. Nate Robinson is such a good fit for this team right now.
  15. Asik has a motor. Dude is playing hard on defense and hitting the glass hard. Earlier today Bill Simmons said that Asik could win the rebounding title, that prediction isn't looking too farfetched now.

  17. He's already become one of my favorite players. What surprises me most about him is his maturity. You rarely see that from rookies, let alone rookie pg's. He and LA can easily become one of the most lethal p&r/p&p duos in the league.
  18. Kobe has a slouch on defense the last couple seasons. And most of that is the result of age and his knee's just not being the same. He can still lockdown guys at critical junctures in a game, you just wont see a consistent effort from him the whole game.
  19. Back to back games allowing 100+ points, abysmal play from the bench, and too many turnovers (20 of the 24 coming from our starters). This is going to take longer than I envisioned.
  20. I was talking about Harden's scoring abilities, not his playmaking abilities. You're the one who rerouted the argument in a different direction. You can't compare Lebron with Harden. Lebron has a post game and he is alot more effective shooting off the dribble. All in all he is just way more rounded than Harden obviously. Forgive me but I just don't see where you are going with that comparison. You continuously discrediting the fact that Harden is playing "significant" minutes with Westbrook and Durant on the floor with him a good chunk of the time. Say what you want about him, but for me he's mostly a product of the system. Only time will tell what kind of player he becomes. I'm not arguing just for the sake of it, I just don't see how a guy who has played third fiddle his whole professional career and has come up short in the most pressure packed situation is deserving of a max contract.
  21. Damn I wish I wasn't stuck at work so I could watch this game on league pass. What's the status on Nash?
  22. I never said anything about Harden not being a good facilitator. He was probably the best playmaker on the team. But as the Rockets #1, they're going to expect him to score first and create second. And given the lack of talent on that team, he isn't going to put up flashy numbers every single night. He's going to see an onslaught of double/triple teams as the season progresses and that will throw him out of funk because he definitely wasn't used to that in OKC. And lol at comparing Lebron to Harden. They might have the same strengths but their method of attack and physicality are on two totally different levels. I just don't know any other way of putting it. You say that he blossomed in crunch time and played significant minutes but that was with Durant and Westbrook on the floor, and they warrant way more attention that Harden does. Harden isn't going to have the same success in Houston with Lin and Parsons? And he did lodge plenty of minutes against second units, you guys are acting like he was a starter and controlled the floor minutes at a time without Durant or Westbrook.
