  1. Did I really just see Luke Walton get some floor time? Is the Cavs bench really that bad?
  2. Boston is in a pretty good position considering the onslaught of threes from Miami. Boston bench did their job. I still think Rondo needs to be more aggressive offensively for this team to be a legitimate threat.
  3. Really surprised that no one mentioned Percy Harvin for offensive player of the year, and maybe even MVP. He's had a big hand in every one of their wins this season.
  4. I don't think there's any doubt that Kobe is going to play today. I'm honestly expecting a blowout win for the Lakers today.
  5. Lol at KG giving Ray Allen the cold shoulder.
  6. I just wanted to say that Harden will not be an all-star. I realize it's not really a bold prediction, but I just had to get that across with so many Rocket fans overrating the shit out of him.
  7. He's gonna be out atleast 6 weeks. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/story/_/id/8571019/amare-stoudemire-new-york-knicks-likely-six-weeks-re-injuring-knee-sources-say
  8. T-Wolves have a slew of injuries heading into the season. No love for a quarter of the season, and Rubio is out for atleast half the season if I'm not mistaken. If they were heading into the season injury free then I would have them anywhere from 6-8. Warriors are the obvious pick. Really deep team, but it's hard to believe that they'll make it through a good chuck of the season with the same starting five. I'll go with the Kings though. It's really hard to pass up a frontcourt with Cousins and Robinson. Cousins will be the clear cut third best center in the league by the end of the season, potentially making a case for the second best.
  9. Most of you already know I'm really high on Paul George, he'll be a borderline all-star this season. Outside of him though I really like OJ Mayo. He'll get the minutes and Rick Carlisle already stated that he's going to get Mayo in the right position to have a breakout season. He'll duplicate his rookie season stats, somewhere around 18, 4, and 4. I've liked Blake Griffins progression offensively this preseason, I think he'll take over as the best power forward in the league (especially with Love sideline for a quarter of the season). Damian Lilliard will win ROTY pretty handily imo. He has a scorers mentality on a team that doesn't have a whole lot of scoring options and that will definitely bode well for him.
  10. Damn nearly missed on back to back homers, but I'll take the double and triple.
  11. James Harden was the favorite heading into this season but assuming that he starts, which he probably will, who then becomes the frontrunner for the award? Is there a clear cut favorite? Some viable candidates off the top of my head are Manu Ginobli, Lou Williams, Jason Terry, and Ray Allen.
  12. Still semi hungover from the crawl last night and going off 4 hours of sleep. I have no motivation to be at work right now.
  13. That last drive for the Bears couldnt get any easier. They should have been driving down the field like that all game long.
  14. Its a shame that the Seahawks suck so bad on the road.
  15. Bears score another defensive td lol. This wont do any good for Cam's morale.
  16. Get RG3 some guys that can catch.
  17. Skins wr's are awful. I've counted four dropped passes already in the first half, two of which were for td's.
  18. RG3 got blown up lol. Redskins are killing themselves right now with missed opportunities.
  19. Amazing what happens when Forte gets touches. Mike Tice has been underutilizing him all season.
  20. A couple things: 1) A little premature to say but I just cant see Lin and Harden coexisting. Neither guy can play off the ball. I've never liked Harden and I think he's really going to get exposed as a the teams go to guy. 2) Thank you OKC for paving a easier path to the Finals. Where are the Thunder going to look for offense when Harden/Durant rest, get injured, or get into foul trouble? OKC should have kept Harden till next season.
  21. Sucked to see Lattimore go down again. It's going to take a lot of mental toughness for him to grow through another year of rehab. Really happy to see Florida go down, and Oregon just pour it on.
