Well they're arent running anything special defensively. Just a lot of traps, the DR is just folding under the pressure. As a whole I'm not really impressed by the US thus far, they look disorganized.

Coach Calipari coaches the Dominican Republic team? I could have swore that was him. Edit: Wow, that is him. Not sure why he wanted any part of this team lol.

ON ESPN right now. No one posted the thread, so I decided to make one myself. I didn't post it in the Gameday thread, but the mods can move it there if there if they please. US doesn't look all that sharp in the first. Durants on fire though.

What exactly are the Mavs doing?
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in Dallas Mavericks Team Forum
Looks like things are falling into place for the Mavs. First they traded for Collison to fill a vacated position, and now with Scola in the open market I could see the Mavs placing a bid for him. There aren't contenders, but atleast they can stay competitive heading into the following season. -
Greg Oden says he wants to play this year
The Regime replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in General NBA Discussion
The Heat have Pittman and Curry warming their bench. I don't see why they wouldn't give Oden a chance. -
Is it even possible to give Dwight a max long term deal if they take Jason Richardsons contract? That's easily the best deal on the table for Orlando, unless of course they get Bynum. Depth would certainly be an issue for the Thunder, but if it's one thing we've learned abour super teams it's that they attract guys who are willing to take a paycuts just to have a chance at a championship.

Warriors Trade Dorell Wright To Sixers For Pick
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
Jack will be a solid backup for the Warriors. Wonder what this means for the Hornets. Are they really going to start Austin Rivers at point? That's a disaster waiting to happen. -
Negotiations w/ Denver going well for McGee
The Regime replied to ChosenOne's topic in Denver Nuggets Team Forum
You've gotta be [expletive]ing kidding me. Nuggets paying strictly on potential. -
First move they've made all off season. I'm not convinced that this is even a playoff team.

Not bad. I don't think the text compliments the rest of the sig and image itself is too bright. I like the faded background though.

Jerryd Bayless Agrees To Sign With Memphis
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
That's when we were amateurs. They were both snipers a couple years back, I don't know how. Things have changed though, we need to set up a rematch sometime soon. -
A little bit more Kyrie. [expletive]ing love this dude. No homo. http://cdn0.sbnation.com/imported_assets/1116972/IrvingWow3.gif http://cdn2.sbnation.com/imported_assets/1116975/IrvingWow.gif

LMAO, they would be out of their mind to do that. We would be lucky just to get Josh Smith.
-
I wonder if the Hawks play on utilizing him as a starter or as a sixth man. Hard to imagine Teague as a sixth man though.

If the rumored Howard-to-Nets trade goes through...
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
Dwight has a way to go offensively, but that doesn't mean that he can't score. He'll go off against the likes of Bosh, Haslem, and Joel. -
If the rumored Howard-to-Nets trade goes through...
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
As good as that starting five is the Nets have no depth, and I really think that would hurt them in the postseason. However, Miami won the title with mediocre bench play so anything is possible as long as the starters can play at a high level. On paper they're the second best team in the East hands down, the question is how long it will take them to develop chemistry. In a head to head matchup against Miami, I would give the Nets an edge just because I don't see how the Heat would defend Dwight. Their current roster is too undersized. It's no mystery that the best way to exploit the Heat is by pounding the ball in the paint. I think if it all comes together (postseason matchups and avoiding injuries) for the Nets they could make a legitimate run to the Finals. The starting five is way to talented to come anything short of a ECF. -
Danny Green Signs 3 Year, $12M Deal With Spurs
The Regime replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in San Antonio Spurs Team Forum
He has found himself a nice niche in San Antonio. I personally think it's a lot of money for a guy who is strictly a system player, and he disappeared in the postseason. Hard to question Spurs management though. -
I didn't get to watch the Cavs play much, but my god does Kyrie have some mad handles. http://cjzero.com/gifs/IrvingWow2.gif
