  1. Nice mock. I mentioned this in another thread but I also expect Sullinger to drop out of the top 15 or even top 20. Also I'm almost certain that Austin Rivers wont get drafted in the top 15, lack of size and athleticism for a two guard is really going to hurt his stock.
  2. Awesome. Nice to have another Thunder fan on this site. Welcome back!
  3. The pg position is changing as we know it. Most pg's today are athletic and score first. Outside of Rondo and probably CP3, what elite pg plays the position traditionally? Plus Westbrook is still young. He has the playmaking ability in him as the postseason proved he just needs to play smarter at times.
  4. Limiting turnovers which goes hand in hand with becoming a better passer and becoming a better defender are two things that he most needs to improve on this offseason. If I remember correctly he and Westbrook combined for the most turnovers as a duo. Durant needs to play more decisively and anticipate plays before they happen. Defensively he already has the length, height, and quickness he just needs to bulk up a little so he can body bigger guys. That has been the one knock on him since he entered the league. I still cant believe the dude weighs 220 lbs, he looks nothing like it.
  5. So you would much have an overtime period? I'm not opposed to that but that could really extend some games and fatigue would certainly play a bigger role.
  6. I wanted the Lakers to trade Gasol well before the all-star break last season. I just don't see the desire in him to win another championship, and in Mike Browns system he is worthless. Unfortunately we aren't going to get much value in return. I would be surprised to see us trade him for a quality player. As for Bynum, unless we are getting Dwight Howard in return I don't see why we should trade away the second best center in the league. He has a shit attitude, but I think with time he'll mature. I've always supported Andrew and would hate to see him traded. Jordan Hill proved that he could be an impact player given the minutes last season. IF in an extreme situation we get a guy like Deron Williams, then I wouldn't mind starting Hill at the four.
  7. Am I the only one who feels that penalty kicks should be kicked from further out so that the goalie doesn't necessarily have the play the "guessing game".
  8. Top 5 would be stretching it. I would take Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Rajon Rondo, Derrick Rose, and Russell Westbrook over him age aside. At this point in his career he doesn't get the major minutes and doesn't have the multiple layers in his game as the other guys do.
  9. Yeh the Niners signed him, and word is that he's in really good physical condition. I guess I don't understand this question though. How is Nash "the best" current athlete? He's not even a top 5 pg anymore. He's deserving of a championship, but I could name countless number of better players ahead of him.

  13. I was on the same boat as Brandon lol. I used to be part of the Pokemon craze back in the day but totally missed the joke.
  14. Wonder how much longer Lincecum is going to part of the Giants pitching rotation.
  15. Well he was found guilty on 45 of 48 counts of sexual abuse. Looking at about 300 years of jail time.
  16. I feel like he is a bit overrated as a coach. Hear me out... Did he outcoach Brooks? Maybe. I think Brooks outcoached himself. What bothers me is that the media and people in general make him out to be a genius and the "next great coach", and that to me is just outrageous. Coaching is a underrated aspect of team sports but let's be real, this team didn't really have any significant roadblocks until they played the Thunder. Knicks couldn't match them on a talent basis, Pacers underutilized their bigs, and the Celts were just old. By the time they played a team of equal talent they were healthy, and their superstars played like superstars. What I do give him a lot of credit for is managing a team with so many big ego's. I wouldn't credit him a whole lot on his coaching, there are plenty of guys who could have succeed in his position this year imo. Question now is whether he can continue to maintain success for the franchise. I won't consider him a good coach until he can win another title.
  17. I didn't say anything about them sweeping Miami, and what does Kobe have to do with this topic? Typical Yugo post.
  18. You really think he could be a productive player for another year or two? It would make far more sense to amenesty him, make more cap space, and sign a more effective player via free agency. Just looking at their current roster they could definitely use more size and bulk up their frontcourt.
  19. Lets face it the man is made of glass. He has had chronic back problems and wasn't much of a factor until last night. Do the Heat amnesty cut Mike Miller and save a little over $6 million?

  21. The only game that Lebron's jumpshot was "on" the whole postseason was game 6 against the Celtics. I cant think of any other game. People that think that Lebron is a good jumpshooter are delusional. Honestly the Lakers probably had the best chance of slowing him down offensively. Artest has the strength to body him, and our bigs would have certainly made it difficult for him to finish around the rim. The Spurs would have been no better off than the Thunder.
  22. My guess if that he was probably gesturing Spo to get off the court.
  23. I'm pretty sure both teams will be the favorites to win their respective conferences and making a deep run next year, so the question is who has the better chance of returning to the Finals? Thunder can only improve with such a young team, and despite a disappointing Finals their two superstars Durant and Westbrook took significant strides and showed a lot of promise for the future. The Lakers, Spurs, Mavs and Grizzles are their main competition and depending how free agency ends up either team could take them out. As for the East, it's alot more weaker than the West. Bulls are the toughest competition for the Heat, but without Rose next season be a cake walk. Pacers are young and improving but do they have enough star power to overtake the Heat? I honestly don't think that Dwight Howard ending up on the Nets will make a difference, and neither will an upgrade at pg for the Knicks (unless of course its for a star like Deron Williams). Discuss.
  24. If this was your attempt to bait Laker fans, it just failed miserably.
  25. Yugo why are you so concerned about Kobe right now lol? No one even mentioned him. Didn't you get the memo that the next four months are all about Lebron, you can't talk about anyone else outside of him. We'll rebump this thread once that time period resides.
