Kinsler > Hill despite Kinsler having a lower BA they both have a similar OPS (Kinsler.831 Hill .830) but SB isnt even close 16 to 3 Kinsler has also produced more runs (90) to (93) eh maybe hill should be there better defender its a toss up though I'd give Hill the edge

You can argue Cole Hamels isn't even an ace pitcher. L:cecum gets my vote. Edit - Who do you perfer David Eckstein or Jose Reyes
-
Cain and Lincecum dont run very fast
-
Mark Reynolds is on pace to break the strikeouts record I'll take Sandoval and his higher average and OPS despite playing in one of the worst hitters ball parks in one of the worst lineups in MLB The fact Kinsler isn't in anyway is sad hes a no brainier in the AL

Some Mets are pleading for Minaya to make a deal
fish7718 replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Baseball Forum
True it is obvious Ryan Howard would hit homeruns in any ballpark he plays in just like Dunn. They have the sort of power that ballparks do not affect. (evident by Dunn moving from Great American to National Park and still bombing homeruns) -
ECN I've lost a lot of respect for your opinions when it comes to baseball. First of all it is obvious to anyone Johan Santana is the best pitcher in the National League. Second Johan is in because he is top 15 in every major pitching stat. Third I agree there are some pitchers that deserved it over Johan but it's not a huge difference as opposed to Weaver vs Wakefield which is an absolute joke.

What an ignorant post. First you go on about how valuable Wakefield has been allowing 4+ runs a game and how he eats innings, ofcourse Wakefield eats innings because he throws a [expletive]ing knuckleball thus he doesn't get tired. Then you continue to talk about you don't feel like other Red Sox should be starting trying to prove your not bias or something which is completely retarded. I don't care how many wins you have if you have a 4.30 ERA you do not deserve to be in the all star game. The League average is 4.30 on the spot. Thus Wakefield is nothing more than an average pitcher. Then you diss the Mets and the fact that I'm a Mets fan proving more of how much of a baby your acting like. Just because you have 10 wins don't mean you belong in the all-star game [expletive]ing Kevin Slowey has 10 Wins. The fact Wakefield 10 Wins 4.30 ERA 1.35 ERA made it in over Weaver 8 Wins 3.10 ERA 1.13 WHIP is a crime

Funny you complain about how people say nothing but "your thread is dumb" and don't defend themselves when they post in probably the worst thread on this forum "MJ is Over-Rated." Then you come in and here and say something retarded like that and don't even defend it. HYPOCRITE!
-
Wakefield a good story? Wakefield has a 4.30 ERA Wins is the most over rated stat I've ever seen for a pitcher. It is a complete team stat. Josh Hamilton is like Shaq making it in the NBA a few years ago. Completely agree managers picks are horrible Marquis and Lily over Gallardo and Cueto? JOKE! Yadier Molina? lol terrible terrible terrible

R.I.P Steve Mcnair (Found Shot Dead)
fish7718 replied to MainEv3nt's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
VERY sad day in the world of sports. McNair was a class act, fan favorite and role model to all people. The way he played through all his injuries was amazing. Steve you be missed, prayers to you and your family. R.I.P Steve McNair -
First of all it is so difficult to not win a championship without a dominant big you can go back almost every single championship won the team had a dominant big, Jordan did it 6 times. Then find me another swingman averaging 30+ a game shooting 50% from the field. East Coast sorry this thread is a JOKE.

Matt Holliday is a bit over rated hes backing up the fact that his numbers were a product of coors field. Away from Coors he averages about 20 HR's a year and like a .280 average which is solid but I'd rather have Dunn and you'd be surprised Dunn is not much older than Holliday if he is at all. -

I didn't meet them in that sense of the word. Like I didn't go to one of those things 'meet (player)' or like have meet them off the court. I'm talking bout waiting outside MSG waiting for people to stop their cars lol. Anyway Jamal drove his car and you could just tell he had the best personality. This random chick even asked if she could kiss him lol and he was like yeah whatever. Isiah Thomas seemed like a solid guy as well.

Walsh Hints At Unannounced Player Move?
fish7718 replied to The Goods's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
I'm assuming that either Curry is opting out or we are trading for T-Mac, or both. -
BTW the fact all you people mention PG's like Deron and Terry and fail to mention Tony Parker shows how under rated he is.
-
David Lee is not under rated trust me I'm a Knicks fan he plays NO defense. I'm surprised no body mentioned Nate Robinson 21 PPG as a starter 19 PPG post all star (30 min PG). He played like an elite scorer at one point last year.

All Jefferson is, is a scorer, which is not a bad thing depending on the system. I think he fits perfectly into the Spurs line up because they needed to find another guy besides the big 3 that could score. However, Artest fits perfectly into any system, he got a decent 3 ball he can handle the ball a little and what I think sets him apart from Jefferson is he will cover the other teams best player. What does that means for the Lakers? Means Artest will lock down PP and allow Kobe to just go off. Ron Artest is the better player. They are both good fits, I believe Artest is a better fit too though.

I actually think NO ONE on that list was on the Mets 2003 roster =) especially glad to see Piazza is not even rumored
