  1. Dunn is a perfect fit, we need a power bat. DeRosa is just a spec below perfect.
  2. lol if your going to compare the WR's why don't you compare the o-linemen as well pal (You said manning blaming his O-line lol its the same as Brady complaining about WR's bud) Manning is better

  4. Yeah there seems to be a feel on panic amongst Mets fans that if we don't make a move now we are going to fall out of the race and not climb back in however, let's examine the facts. The Mets are 2 1/2 games out of first with over 80 games left in the regular season. The Mets have 1/3 of their 25 man roster on the DL right including key players such as; Jose Reyes, Carlos Delgado, Carlos Beltran, John Maine, Oliver Perez, JJ Putz, and Billy Wagner. Despite losing all those players the Mets still are only 2 1/2 out. Last year in July the Mets were as many as 7 games out of the race and still held a firm lead in September. Now the agreement is why make a deal when we have so many players ready to come of the DL and be fresh players in the 2nd half. The response to that would be, "what if these players don't come back or don't perform when they do?" The response to that. If we don't expect so many key players to not come back is it really worth it to trade some of our top young players and go for it this year as opposed to just developing them and playing for 2010 or 2011? I expect Minaya to make a move by the deadline to either make a commitment to now or next year. I just hope it's the right one.
  5. Push? lol under Over/Under 1,000 Yards for TO
  6. Fact, just has to stay healthy Fact or fiction, Vernon Davis will emerge this year.
  7. Completely agree. Yao is much better from about 8 feet out and back. I think it's not even close when you consider Yao takes the technical free throws for his team Dwight bricks big ft's in playoffs. Then also consider Dwight averaged like 1 apg in an offense where that revolves around catch and shoot 3 pointers. Yao averaged about 3 apg in his offense showing you how Yao's passing is worlds ahead of Dwight's. Yao in a landslide with the injuries Yao by a bit. (After all they are kinda freak injuries)
  8. In their prime I'll go with T-mac he was a machine before the injuries hit
  9. Fact. No way Culpepper lasts the full season. Fact or fiction, a team that has won the superbowl in the past 3 years makes it back.
  10. This topic is a joke in my opinion its not even close. Peyton Manning has always been the best QB between the 2 but ill admit its been debatable. However with Tom Brady coming back from surgery (same injury that killed Palmers arm and ended his career) and taking a full year off from football its not even close. Peyton Manning by FAR.
  11. PG. Devin Harris SG. Andre Igoudala SF. Paul Pierce PF. Chris Bosh C. Kevin Garnett Reserves PG. Rajon Rondo SG. Ray Aleen SF. Wilson Chandler PF. Elton Brand C.Brook Lopez Nate Robinson David Lee
  12. Yeah just his contract. The fact teams still trade for him proves he is pretty valuable. He is a liability on defense and does tend to take dumb jumpers but other than that hes a very solid player. He was turning into a fan favorite in New York because he was averaging like 25 and 15 for 2 weeks but because of his huge contract that doesn't terminate in 2010 he had to go.
  13. uhm, Fiction? lol The Bears with Cutler have a shot at a 12 win season Fact or Fiction, LaDainian Tomlinson will lead the NFL in rushing?
  14. Easily the best he trademarked the attitude era (the high point in WWF/WWE history IMO) Wrestling died to me when he left EDIT - I should say Co-trademarked Stone Cold was big too
  15. lmao @ Aaron Rodgers top 5 QB Fiction. Not with Culpepper at QB. Fact or Fiction, the madden curse will hurt Polamalu and Fitzgerald
  16. ^ What field do you like more I've been to Yankee Stadium twice and Citi Field three times and I think Citi field is better without trying to be bias
  17. Favorite Team: New York Mets Favorite Players: David Wright, Ryan Church, Jose Reyes, Johan Santana Least Favorite Team: Atlanta Braves Least Favorite Players: Larry Jones, Jimmy Rollins, David Ortiz and Johnathan Papelbon Anything Else: lol @ Phightins hating Fernando 'double play' Tatis

  19. Chandler is younger than them both and has already put up a very impressive season in the nba and showed flashes of being a top scorer in the game just has to improve his game
  20. lol Wilson Chandler is much better than Ellington Brewer and Carney Chandler has the pot to be an all star IMO none of those 3 do
  21. I'd say 25% if Knicks really wanted too they could send Wilson Chandler over and land Rubio Minnesota is in need of a SG/SF
  22. This must be what he was doing instead of studying for the SAT lol
