  2. haha dude this whole burning the quran thing is moronic.
  3. kobe still shocks people with amazing plays? interesting. that was so 3 years ago for me.
  4. http://ll-media.tmz.com/2010/09/07/0907-ron-artest-ex-tmz.jpg LMAO
  5. I see... Sucks for Dodger fans. I remember LA loved him so much when he first came here.
  6. "Dime dozen?" I was trying to say there's a lot of similar players in the d-league with his attributes who haven't gotten similar opportunities. haha, unless you disagree with that?
  7. Can someone explain to me what happened with Manny and the Dodgers? I thought the fans in LA loved him and he sold tickets. I know he was injured and was sort of disappointing, but he's still batting .311 which is pretty decent. http://cache.boston.com/images/bostondirtdogs//BDD_MR_wigsla_8.18.08_dspho.jpg
  8. I'll go with Legacy, both did pretty well though. "How you gonna make fun of the Warriors when you support the Nets?" ^ lol for truth 2 - Legacy 1 - Nitro
  9. Guys like Patrick Ewing Jr are a dime dozen in the D-League. I wonder if he would be in the league if his last name wasn't "Ewing."
  10. I agree that Pau isn't better than Dirk, but you can't compare him to the Memphis Pau Gasol because he's gotten much better since then. He's turned into a completely different player last year than he was when he was first traded to the Lakers. If we had the Gasol in 2008 we would've lost Game 7, but the new Gasol stepped up along with Artest to carry the offense when we needed them the most, when Kobe was shooting 2-50 or whatever in the most important game of his career. With 2008 Gasol we probably never come back from the deficit and lose game 7 at home to the rival Celtics in double figures.
  11. I don't agree with Amare being so high. I think if you look at them individually Dirk should be ranked higher than Pau Gasol. Maybe Tim Duncan as well but I'm not sure how much his game has declined over the years. I'd rank Pau third behind Dirk and possibly Duncan (although I wouldn't trade him for either).
  12. lol I like JR Smith. When he's on he's virtually unstoppable, I still remember all those times he killed the Lakers, but he's just a hot or cold type of player. If he's not on fire he hurts you more than he helps. I kind of expected him to be traded when the Nuggets signed Al Harrington though, you can't have enough basketball to go between those two and that's only the bench.
  13. Brandon Graham has been impressive since training camp. He and Trent Cole will be a nice duo for our D-line for years to come. Nate Allen was great as well, despite getting absolutely trucked by Benson. Definitely his welcome to the NFL moment. Rookie linebacker Keenan Clayton was pretty impressive as well. I didn't hear much about him during camp but he's been pretty good in our two preseason games. Also, Dimitri Patterson should definitely make the roster. I thought our defense was pretty good yesterday, we held a potent Cincinnati offense in check despite missing our best cornerback. Offense is a different story.
  14. haha loved it when he realized he was being filmed
  15. They said he vomited as well before collapsing. He wasn't even doing anything physical at the time based off the reports. This doesn't bode well for him or his future. He has issues with his health that I think will plague him for his entire career. I remember him missing training camp last year because of some health condition, and he missed a couple of weeks last season because of migraines. Seems like this is a chronic issue with him that won't go away. I hope he gets better though, he had a tremendous rookie season and is fun to watch on the field.
  16. Only 15 back to backs which is down from 20 last year. 2 seven game road trips, one at the very beginning of the season. After the allstar break we'll only have 3 back to backs. Also more home games to finish off the year than we had last season, which ended up having us on the road the majority of the time. I like it.
  17. How credible is this source? I haven't heard reports about us signing Delonte anywhere else. It's also contingent on us moving Sasha, which I wouldn't hold my breath on. I wouldn't get my hopes up. I question where Delonte is at mentally and if he is even suited to play a whole year of NBA basketball.
