  1. yeah I hope the Phillies trade Werth away, that way he won't leave in free agency for absolutely nothing. Hopefully we can get something of value back for him. Very disappointing season to say the least (even though I haven't really been keeping up with the team lately), I expected a better record especially after we went to two world series in a row.
  2. lol I wonder if Cleveland fans will hate him as much as Laker fans hated Shaq. At least I don't think Lebron's gonna throw the entire city and franchise under the bus, but a big LMFAO in the face of Cleveland fans and the entire city. There goes their economy!
  3. Cavs were supposed to win the championship the last two years in a row, apparently. This isn't a fairy tale, this is real life. Welcome.
  4. i guess it wouldn't be too shocking if it were another team outside the division... but i can never root for the cowboys, giants, or redskins whatever [expletive] him lol
  5. If Fish leaves who do you think are some good replacements Sky? Do you think a Steve Blake/Keyon Dooling backcourt would work out? They are certainly an upgrade over Fisher/Farmar skill wise. I really won't miss Fish too much if he leaves, but one thing he brings to the table cannot be replaced, and that is leadership. In the end I think he'll be back, but it'll take some time.
  6. You didn't see Gasol get completely dominated and overwhelmed at center? Or do you need glasses.
  7. I'm guessing you didn't watch the 2008 NBA Finals.
  8. Kolb is either gonna make Reid and the management look like geniuses or complete idiots. I've heard some of his interviews after the McNabb trade and I like his attitude. I hope he can back his talk on the field. As for the season, this is the first time in a long while that I'm not really excited. My expectations for the team is pretty low, which is probably a good thing because every year they disappoint me and break my heart. Won't happen this year. I'm excited to see all our youngsters step onto the field, but I think a lot of them may be a year or so away from truly contributing. I HIGHLY doubt we get 10+ wins, I wouldn't be surprised if we finished last in the division. But I'm not counting them out completely, we do have some good talent on the team still, but I don't envision us playing better than Dallas or New York. I'm not too sure about Washington because that team sucks annually, but McNabb will win them some games.
  9. he's so dumb. lil wayne always sips on that sizzzurp and never gets in trouble. jamarcus russell is an idiot. i give him 2 years before he goes bankrupt
  10. lol If Amare somehow convinces Lebron to go to NY with him, then Cleveland is [expletive]ing stupid. They could've traded for Amare at the deadline if only they gave up JJ Hickson. Watch them lose Lebron and Amare because of Hickson. LMAO
  11. better than a powerpoint LOL knicks can do nothing right
  12. http://tweeter.faxo.com/Justin_Bieber_My_World_Tour vote here!
  13. oh, btw http://photos.imageevent.com/alexmophotos/random/fish.jpg vs http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/4152/78921003.jpg he look he can make layups
  14. this is all part of negotiating, after what we saw last year with LO, it doesn't worry me. Nobody is stupid enough to throw 5 million at Fisher, at the end of the day, we are his best option and he knows it. Obviously he's going to start off negotiations on the high end (5 million) and the Lakers will start off at the low end (2.5 million). At the end of the day I see a deal getting done, my guess is probably a two year deal worth 3-4 million per.
  15. video someone made about Blake: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x14d78_steve-blake-face-aux-blazers_sport look at that passing... OMG when was the last time we had that here? i cannot remember ever seeing that.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmOhPY3Y5yU Eminem signed this guy to his label. Thoughts?
  17. This just makes me like the signing even more. Unlike Mike Miller, Steve Blake actually fills a DRASTIC need that we've had for years now. We finally have someone we can count on to pass the ball and give touches to our bigs (besides Kobe and Walton who is always injured). I don't think people realize how big of a deal this is. Blake isn't flashy, he isn't a big name, but he will get the job done. He can shoot the ball, he can run the offense, and he is an upgrade defensively over what we had. This is an awesome signing, and not big money either. Props to Mitch for this signing. I don't think this signing sounds as good as "MIke Miller to the Lakers" but in the end, it is just as if not even more significant.
  18. BSPN reported that the two sides have met but no contract was offered... Hmmmmmmmmmm who to believe
  19. ^ wow... so much for penny pinching If we're going to spend the MLE I'd rather go after a point guard though. Mike Miller would be awesome for the team but PG is the number one need. I'd go after someone like Felton, or split the MLE between Blake and maybe Kyle Korver, who said he's 95% certain he won't be back in Utah. ANYWAYS GREAT TO SEE JERRY BUSS DECIDING TO SPEND
