  1. Awesome news. We'll make one more run for Phil before Brian Shaw takes over. Happy
  2. Man I am so [expletive]ing sick and tired of Bynum (pardon my language). LOVE his potential. LOVE him when he's healthy. But when was the last time he's stayed healthy? We've been to the Finals three years in a row, and all three years his performances have been underwhelming (or didn't play at all) because of injury. He has been completely unreliable for three postseasons in a row, what makes people think he's going to turn the corner next year? It's gonna be the same thing next year. He'll start out strong before the allstar break, look like the next big thing, suffer an injury and play hindered the rest of the way. I for one, am ready to deal him if the deal is right. LO has also been extremely disappointing (but that is expected) and played terribly in the Finals. He underperformed in the playoffs as well. If the right deal comes along it's time to pull the trigger. Stop gambling on Drew's health. This is a deal I'd strongly consider making if I were GM. LO shouldn't be a deal breaker.
  3. I thought it was a pretty touching tribute for MJ. I felt sad when he started crying.
  4. well i guess i'd offer him another cheap deal, if he turns it down then goodbye. he was very disappointing this year, but had a couple of memorable dunks. beyond that i strongly believe sasha vujacic outplayed him in the postseason.
  5. If the Knicks end up getting Johnson and Boozer I will LMFAO The 2010 free agency was so hyped up and they end up with jack. lol Not to mention all those wasted draft picks they traded away. Joe Johnson and Carlos Boozer won't get them anywhere near a title. It's Lebron/Bosh/Wade or bust.
  6. So is this the signing that will put the Cavs over the top and guarantee a championship, the third time in a row? (according to you)
  7. http://i.imgur.com/mfNxI.jpg lol kobe's a beast
  8. Phil is one of the best coaches of all time. Of course if he leaves our chances to repeat will diminish, especially if we replace him with a rookie coach in Brian Scott, or bring in someone like Byron Scott who will implement an entirely different system. We'll still be contenders though, and at the end of the day, anything can happen. But obviously our chances are best with Phil. As for Farmar and Brown? Both scrubs, won't miss either.
  9. In Sasha's exit interview, he mentioned playing point guard next year, so I'm guessing we will see him there at some point next season. pg: Fisher, Critt, Sasha sg: Kobe, Bell sf: Artest, Walton, Ebanks pf: Gasol, Odom, Caracter c: Bynum, vet Sky, do you, or anybody know if Raja Bell has the ability to play point guard in our offense? He could fit in as the Ron Harper of 2010.
  10. I love the Ebanks pick, I'm hearing he is basically a Trevor Ariza clone (without the 3 pointer, but that can be developed, as Trevor demonstrated). Oh, and he is from Queensbridge. LOL Don't know much about Caracter, but at pick 58 I wasn't expecting much anyways. I like what I read about him though, he drew some comparisons to Big Baby Davis. Doubt he makes the roster but I'm rooting for him.
  11. 15th pick likely lands you a role player Evan Turner, at 2, can be the cornerstone for the franchise for years to come. Dumping a potential up and coming star just to get an expiring is plain stupid. Especially for a team like the Sixers who desperately needs a new face for the franchise to sell some tickets.
  12. I like Shannon Brown for the money he is making now, but if he opts out and seeks a larger deal then goodbye. I love his highlight plays, but with a bigger role this year, his game has been exposed. He turned into a chucker and everyone realized just how low his basketball IQ is. Steve Blake is the perfect PG for us to sign, IMO. He's a vet, he can shoot the 3 and knock down open shots, he can run the offense, and is an upgrade defensively over Farmar. He also shouldn't cost too much if nobody tries to overpay him, so he should fit in our budget as well. He's not flashy, but he's someone who can get the job done. If we add Blake and Bell this offseason for Farmar and Morrison we'd be in perfect shape to repeat.
  13. Sounds like fun. I hope his injury isn't a big concern though. The Raja Bell I remember would be a perfect addition to our team, but honestly speaking I haven't seen much of him since his Phoenix days. I'd welcome the addition if Kobe is for it. He'd be an awesome backup for Kobe/Ron if he's still close to the player I remember him being.
  14. steve blake is my preference, if they don't want to spend the whole MLE
  15. lol Scott Skiles is gonna have a blast coaching Maggette
  16. comparing him to Ariza is disrespectful i wanted Trevor back, i dont give a [expletive] where Farmar goes. he barely cut it as our backup PG, good luck finding a starting gig elsewhere LMFAO don't let the door hit you on the way out. he is the only player on our roster that i legitimately hate, i hate his attitude and his game. this is like a christmas present for me, finally he will be off our roster (please dont do anything dumb Mitch, let him go)
  17. We graduated at our school. haha Tight though man, have fun. It was an exciting, bitter sweet moment for me. Have fun tonight
