Lakers Championship Parade
The Artesticle replied to GamerGuy's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
the parade this year is gonna suck remember how LA had trouble funding our parade last year? well apparently the city is so broke that there's not gonna be a rally at the end (last year we had it in the Colosseum) so it's probably just gonna be a drive down the street, no player speeches, nothing. sucks because i wanted to see what type of crap Ron was gonna pull. lol im still gonna watch, just not excited for it like last year. -

Iverson Intends To Play In NBA During 10-11
The Artesticle replied to The Regime's topic in Philadelphia 76ers Team Forum
i wonder who wants him, Philly gave him a second chance and I think he wore out his welcome, again (even though this time wasn't his fault) -
Game 7: Biggest game in Kobe's career?
The Artesticle replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Kobe choked. We won regardless. Thank you Pau Gasol and Ron Artest. -

Redskins want money back from Haynesworth
The Artesticle posted a topic in NFC Conference Discussion
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-redskins-haynesworth seriously, they never learn that you don't just go out and sign any "big name" you can possibly find. Absolute fail on their part. Haynesworth is a [expletive]ing idiot too. They should be a match made in heaven. -

GM2: Boston (0) @ Los Angeles (1)
The Artesticle replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Drew and Pau showed up to play. Kobe, partially, but he was in foul trouble. I'm hoping for a better showing for game 3, I'm surprised we were even in the game to be honest. This [expletive] better not happen on the road though, or it won't even be close. Lakers gotta be ready and focused or else it's been two years for nothing, and Kobe can go cry to himself over the summer. -
Same. I had the combo game, with Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros. in one, for the original Nintendo. Good times

GM2: Boston (0) @ Los Angeles (1)
The Artesticle replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
agree 100% Gasol and Bynum were the only two who had a good game for us. Everyone else was disappointing. I guess it’s a little unfair for Kobe, but he was in foul trouble the majority of the game and never really got going. Fisher was pretty bad, we got absolutely nothing out of our bench. LO decides to go MIA again and picks up 3 fouls in 2 minutes. Ron Artest was absolutely terrible. That’s why I’m not giving up yet. We played terrible, and Boston needed an epic performance by Ray Allen to get by us. We’re in okay shape, it’s just a new series. Boston has 3 at home, so more adversity for us to conquer. If we’re true champions, we’ll win regardless, if not, then it wasn’t our year. But we shouldn’t beat ourselves up over this game. Congrats to Ray Allen on setting the record though. He was amazing today, and Rondo played terrific basketball as well. I'm sure as a veteran team, with guys like Phil/Kobe/Fish, we know what we're getting ourselves into with 3 games in Boston. I expect the Lakers to step up and still win the series. Don't give up yet! -
Fisher Isn't Planning On Retiring
The Artesticle replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Fisher was god awful in the regular season, but has really stepped up his game this postseason. I wouldn't mind him back next year, but at a cheaper price. However if Fish does return, we still have to get another quality PG. I like CJ Watson, however, if money is an issue I wouldn't mind Steve Blake or Luke Ridnour either. -

GM6: LA Lakers (3) @ Phoenix (2)
The Artesticle replied to Real Deal's topic in Phoenix Suns Team Forum
Great series by the Suns. They fought hard and played us tough, definitely exceeded my expectations. Dragic is going to be awesome in the future. I feel bad for Nash and Hill though, two players in the league that I wouldn't mind seeing win a ring. Well hopefully they'll end their career in LA Anyways, four more wins. Hopefully we get our revenge on Boston. -

Doug Collins new 76ers Coach
The Artesticle replied to bigdog17k's topic in Philadelphia 76ers Team Forum
Collins has pretty much failed every where he's coached, if I'm not mistaken. And for some reason he received a four year contract. Sixers love paying money to fired coaches I guess. I don't see him lasting 4 years, just like all the previous coaches that came before him. -
What trade for #2 would you accept?
