  1. He's nothing more than a glorified role player...
  2. I actually see this more as Ron praising Lebron's abilities and talents for taking such a roster and making them one of the best teams in the league. But then again, you can look at it the other way around and cry about it. If Ron said the exact opposite, that the Cavs would still be a great team without him, I bet all the nut jockers would be bashing Ron for taking shots at Lebron and being a hater. LOL @ the crybabies.

  4. Gasol has just been "decent" this year, plus he has missed way too many games. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make the allstar team, nor will I be disappointed. I think Chris Kaman and Zach Randolph both have legitimate arguments to win a trip to Dallas.
  5. That sucks What a douchebag. Glad you are okay though, I hope everything works out bro.
  6. Man I hate the rain, I soaked my jeans and socks today when I got out of the car and landed straight into a huge puddle. grrrrrrr
  7. The Magic live or die by the three. Dwight was dominant offensively in the first half, but honestly, you cannot expect that from him every night. Beyond that, they've surrounded him with a bunch of jump shooters in Nelson, Lewis, and Carter (who has been terrible this year). I don't know what the hell Barnes does but I don't think he's starting material. They have nobody to attack the paint, and when their jump shots aren't falling, they're screwed because Dwight is too inconsistent offensively. The Magic are really missing Hedo's play-making ability, and his size. Hedo was the Magic's biggest weapons last year because he made them a nightmare to defend against (mismatches), Vince Carter provides nothing special and is nothing more than a jump shooter at this point of his career. The Hedo-Vince swap has been a failure so far for the Magic, and I'm pretty sure they're missing Courtney Lee's contributions as well. Orlando went into the offseason, made a bunch of moves, spent money. They have like 10 million committed to Bass/Gortat when they don't even play. I don't understand why they didn't just use that money to resign Hedo. They have a lot of depth, but beyond that, they have the worst starting 5 of the contending teams. I don't see them getting far this year unless they make a drastic 180 shift in their play. Jump shooting teams, and teams that rely on the 3 don't make it far in the postseason.
  8. The Clipper Curse strikes again That being said, I wish him the best of luck in recovery.
  9. yeah... a guy who is the same exact player ten years into the league as he was as a rookie is not a complete underachiever
  10. Well it depends on our health. If we cannot get healthy, then yes we're gonna suck. But if we have everyone healthy minus Kobe, I think we may obtain a high 30, low 40 win record (at best), which basically guarantees a spot in the playoffs in the horrible east. I don't know what more you'd expect.

  12. take away the best player from any team and most likely they won't be good...
  13. lol Why would you sleep in a haunted hotel when you have a game the next day. Just doesn't seem professional to me, shouldn't they be getting as much rest as possible? Funny story though.
  14. lawlz This happened like two years ago. Raiders were actually starting to win some games and played hard under Kiffin, and then Al Davis fired him. Cable seems to have done the best he could with the horrible roster and won some games. Now he's getting fired. lololololololololol I love Al Davis. Betcha he drafts a WR in the 1st round again.
  15. People don't want to go to Toronto because it's in Canada. Drew doesn't want to go there either. He was basically asleep during games for the past month, then the Bosh rumors start up and he immediately dominates Bogut and the Bucks. lol
  16. Oh, btw, you can also do the same thing with dumbbells. You can bench using dumbbells (usually I see people using dumbbells for incline bench), but I always found using the actual bar is more effective.
  17. I'm not really an expert at this stuff, just relaying what I know. If you want to increase the amount you can bench, the best exercise for that is to just bench. Just like if you want to increase how much you want to curl, the best exercise is to curl. If you're only looking to increase your bench press weight, I guess you should just stick towards the flat bench presses. Keep working on that and you'll get better. But if your looking to develop your chest/pecs, the best way about it is to do a variety of exercises, such as incline/decline bench and flies. You'll find that these exercises are all different. For an example, I can bench more on an incline bench than a decline bench, but I bench most on a flat bench. But I would recommend you try different exercises. They work out different parts of the same muscle and you get bigger/toner that way.
  18. Oh snap. Really? Did you start watching NBA yesterday? lol
  19. I edited my post. Do incline and decline bench presses and flies as well if you're looking to develop your pecs and chest area.
  20. Towards the end of my benching session I'm usually worn out. For me, I usually start out with a lower weight to warm up. I start out doing a lot of reps and then add weight gradually until I start repping near max weight. After doing a couple of reps there I'm usually exhausted and gradually decrease my weight again. That's how I've been doing it and it works for me. I guess you gotta try your own thing, but I always wear down towards the end. If you really want to bulk up your chest do incline and decline bench presses as well. They workout your upper and lower pecs. Also do flies, which helps shape and tone up your pecs/chest, but I heard it doesn't really help increase your bulk too much.
