  2. lol wow Revenge for last game I guess. Lakers owning without Artest or Pau. Cuban at home crying like a baby.
  3. pg: Iverson sg: McGrady sf: Young pf: Brand c: Dalembert ^ lol 4 years ago this team would own
  4. I only watched the 4th quarter, so I cannot comment too much, but against a Kings team without Tyreke Evans, the game shouldn't have been so close, and we shouldn't have to rely on Kobe to hit a game winner. I agree 100%, throughout the season we've been playing lazy [expletive] basketball. We let teams hang on instead of killing their spirit. Hopefully that changes soon because I'm sick of tired of the team half assing it on the court every night. We always come out slow as [expletive] and decide to flip the switch halfway through the 3rd. pathetic
  5. Still judging your team off of regular season, I see. I thought you learned your lesson last year about overrating your team. Guess you're not that smart. Doesn't bother me though. It's gonna be fun watching all the Cleveland fans cry again when they fail in the postseason, yet again. I wonder what the excuse will be this time

  9. so cute ^_^ I bet Sonny Weems is a monster in bed
  10. What a beast Watched the game, exciting high scoring affair. I hate Farmar, but he was decent today I guess. Get ready for 5 games of extreme suckage. Kobe's a beast. What's new. Pau played a good game too. LO was absolute [expletive] the 1st half, but really stepped up in the 2nd. Someone needs to tell him to stop shooting 3's. That's not his forte, I don't know why he's fallen in love with them this year. Sasha played well off the bench. Played pesky defense on Morrow and Mike Bibby'd him. lol Haven't seen that in a while. Props to Sasha. Good win. Get some rest, hope Ron Ron is back for the next game. Nice game by Anthony Randolph btw, he's very impressive. Turiaf also blocked a dunk attempt by Kobe. Pretty sick lol

  12. Not Snoop, he was chilling like a G http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJ_6WhF500c see for yourself
  13. Hinrich is a huge question mark. He's an upgrade over Fish/Farmar, but that's not saying much. Farmar is an absolute scrub, and Fish is unreliable 90% of the time, he only wakes up when the game's on the line. That being said though, Kirk's shooting percentages are TERRIBLE. He's shooting 36% from the field, and only 34% from beyond the arc. He has struggled these last two seasons, or ever since he signed the contract extension. He is also getting paid a crap load of money, for being just an average/backup PG. So although he may be an upgrade over what we have now, I don't know if it's a smart move to make at this point. He's vastly overpayed and overrated (seeing how some Laker fans think he is a savior).
  14. Yeah, Mitch did say he wants to be more thrifty with finances. But if the team continues to struggle, he'll have no choice but to make a move. Luxury tax really isn't a big deal for Jerry, he'll pay whatever it takes to win. If the bench continues to struggle with everyone back healthy, I definitely see changes being made. We have almost 15 million in expirings at the end of the year, I'm sure they won't have an issue using up some of that money to make us a stronger team, if need be.
  15. Wait, Sky, are you just speculating about the Hinrich/Sessions deals, or have there actually been talks and legit interest between the two teams?
  16. Dungy was a great football coach, but he's a great person as well, which is what matters most.
  17. Happy birthday dude. A day after Christmas, lol. I bet you had fun. And Situation is a beast, I wish I was him.
  18. Great performance by Kobe tonight. May not show on the stats, but he injured his elbow and played through the pain to lead us to victory. I don't think it was too serious, but who knows. Hope he feels better, we rest tomorrow. The team is struggling right now, but a win's a win and I'll take it. Shannon Brown's play also helped spark the bench after yesterday's horrible showing. Drew has struggled a lot lately. I dunno how much of that has to do with his illness, but if he continues to play this way, give him a couple of days off to heal. He's doing us no favors with these type of performances. And best wishes to Ron Artest, this game was for you.
  19. Nothing says the Lakers are only looking for an expiring contract. If the bench continues their horrible play when Walton returns, there will be no more excuses, and I fully expect them to explore their trade options. Jerry will spend whatever it takes to put a winner on the floor, and if the right trade comes along, I highly doubt they will reject it if the bench continues their piss poor play and continues to cost us games. And as for Farmar, he is not the future PG of the Lakers, never has been never will be. If the right deal comes along, he'll be sent packing. The management doesn't think highly of him either. They didn't pick up his option and haven't worked out any extensions. He certainly doesn't fit well with this team because all he does is chuck up shots and play matador defense. We need help at the guard position. We need another guard who can play. Farmar and Sasha both suck. Shannon is good when he plays within his limits, even then, he's not somebody who can create his own shots nor facilitate the offense. Fish is somebody I like when the game is winding down, but completely unreliable the other 90% of the time due to age and decline in skills. Yes, there are issues that need to be addressed if we want to repeat. The most alarming is our bench play. Lamar usually turns it up in the second half of the season, so we'll see what happens there. Having a focused Lamar Odom would do wonders for our bench alone, yet his mind has been wandering all season so far. There are areas of concern on this roster, we definitely are not perfect. But either way, one regular season game does not determine everything. The Cavs obviously wanted the game more, and they got it. Whereas Phil was still tinkering and experimenting with his lineups (as evident when Sasha was like the 1st guard off the bench). I know that come postseason, we should have our act together, and that's all that matters. We have issues that I'm sure the management and coaching staff are aware of, and will look to address.
