  1. And, it is the same article I read earlier. I felt bad for him before because of his injuries, but with quotes and actions like these, he's going to lose respect from a lot of people. Let me blame everyone else for everything that has happened to me. Let me blame other people for my drinking problems. Get real.
  2. I'll look at it in a little while, but if it's the same article I read earlier, Greg Oden comes off as a complete douche-bag who blames everyone else for his problems.

  4. These are the first two that popped up, so you can continue looking on your own if you want to discredit them. Again, you keep ignoring the questions because you're an enormous hypocrite proven time after time, and you don't seem to want to answer simple questions, that don't require any research at all. http://www.familyresearchinst.org/2009/02/getting-the-facts-same-sex-marriage/ http://www.drtraycehansen.com/Pages/writings_samesex.html
  5. This isn't playoff related, but after reading the deadspin (possible false) story about Kane this weekend, I looked up at his career and season statistics, and was honestly very surprised. He's only had one 30 goal season which really blows my mind.
  6. I've provided you with as many sources as there are. You keep avoiding the question though, which doesn't surprise me at all.
  7. Many sources. I'll give you free reign of which ones you want to choose! Keep ignoring the question though! Source
  8. It all makes perfect sense now. It's exactly what I assumed. Your thought is that gay people are born gay, and that it's not a decision? Otherwise your interracial marriage comparison is garbage. I like how people are blaming "religious nuts" and "conservatives" for the non-passage of gay marriage in NC. I'm not even going to get into the conservative/liberal debate because I don't feel like giving you a free history lesson.
  9. Notsureifsrsorjustretarded............... First off, I haven't mentioned anything about religion and gay marriage because I think many people who use religion as their reasons for opposing gay marriage are hypocrites, and just want an easy out and a reason for them to oppose gay marriage. However, I'm sure if I mentioned something about religion you'd go back to the stone ages to did up some useless information. Now, I know for a fact that you'll be able to find videos, articles, and probably studies that show gay marriage does not have a negative effect on a gay couples children. However, I can find sources that would certainly dispute that as well. Whether it is fair or not, many people just think homosexuality is weird and not right. If you're a gay couple and you have kids that are in elementary, middle, and high school, there's an extremely high chance that they will be harassed, made fun of, and segregated by many people, fair or not. With that said, would you be for civil unions for gay couples in all states instead of gay marriage as a possible compromise for certain states?
  10. Answer the question fool. I never said I was against gay marriage, but you're as narrow minded as they come, and can never see both sides to an argument. The funniest part about all of this is that the media has led people to believe that the majority of people support gay marriage, yet that is CLEARLY not the case. Please go.
  11. No, answer the question. You can claim it's a stretch, but it's not a stretch at all.
  12. And, I now remember why I've never liked Josh Beckett.............
  13. Part of me thinks it's dumb that gays can't get married in certain states, but I do understand certain arguments, and I'm not just talking about religious arguments. Would you have a problem with a man having four wives? If gay marriage is legalized in a state, it can certainly open a can of worms where people are going to want rights for all sorts of crazy things. You have a very narrow view on things.
  14. It's much better that NBC has the rights to the NHL. ESPN offered more money than NBC for the rights to air NHL games, but the NHL still decided to go with NBC for good reasons. I love ESPN, but hockey is better suited on NBC. Ratings have been going up each year for the NHL, especially in markets like St. Louis and Los Angeles. I think NBC is going to grow a lot in the coming years, and having a channel whose main sport is going to be hockey will be huge for the NHL. I think it would be overshadowed on ESPN, and I wouldn't fault ESPN for that because right now, the three other major U.S. sports are much bigger money makers.
  15. Reading the comments section below the article, I'm actually extremely surprised how many people oppose gay marriage. Over the past few years, I think the media has led people to believe that the majority supports gay marriage, but that doesn't seem to be the case. And, no, I don't think most of the comments are from people in North Carolina, but rather people from all over the country. I don't have too many thoughts on this now, but there is one thing that is extremely true about situations like in North Carolina when there is a vote like they had. Whenever homosexual people get their way, as in more "rights" for them, they are all good and dandy, yet when people oppose gay marriage, out come the lawsuits from them and trying to go around the legal system. If gay marriage goes to a vote and is passed, that's fine, but don't try and go around and weasel your way around the legal system when you don't get your way. http://news.yahoo.com/n-c-vote-ban-gay-marriage-warning-obama-060012987.html
  16. I'm trying really hard not to keep laughing at that attempted clearing attempt by Bryzgolov that went in the net. .
  17. No, I don't think many people would say that. There's not the same amount of hate between the teams as there seems to be between the Penguins and Flyers. There's multiple reasons for that as well. The Penguins have had more success in recent years, they have the two best players on either team (arguably the NHL), and are interstate rivals. They claim the Flyers are dirty, and the bantering goes back and forth. The Flyers are a "tough" team that has played the Penguins well this year. The Penguins have Crosby who is the face of the league, and many people think he's a whining baby, especially Flyers fans. Flyers fans still don't like that the Penguins were able to get Crosby and Malkin in back to back drafts. There was some serious luck with that, and I would be envious as well. However, this was the real spark plug to the eventually powder keg explosion. This was one of their last meetings of the season. The big hit was extremely clean, but people questioned why Vitale (player that made the hit) was even on the ice after not playing much during the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNyhm9qAAuw
  18. I think it's great that Justin Tuck really likes the Rangers. It's cool to see athletes of different sports in the same city support their fellow sport teams. Even if the chance is small, I think younger kids, especially African American kids seeing Justin Tuck at a hockey game, which is predominately white, can help the sport grow and gain some more fans..........I hope.
  19. At the end of the day you have to put the puck in the back of the net. The Capitals have had more great chances, especially tonight, but they couldn't finish. The Bruins had more chances than the Capitals in the first round and couldn't finish either. The Backstrom post and the multiple botched or well played defensively odd man rushes are what did the Capitals in tonight. I'm not putting all of the blame on Ward at all. The Capitals could have had a two goal lead late in the game if they could capitalize, but they didn't. If tonight's match-up was a game 7 instead of a game 5...........oh, my.
  20. The playoffs are always crazy, but this year's first round was extremely crazy, and the two Eastern Conference match-ups this round have been great as well, especially the Rangers and Capitals series. In the past four years, the Boston Bruins have played in ten playoff series. Out of those ten playoff series, they have played in SEVEN game 7's. That's a ridiculous amount of game 7's to be in, and they take a toll on you. Some of them have been heart-breaking as well. -The Bruins lost to the Canadiens in game 7 during the 2008 playoffs, in a pretty bad beating. -The Bruins were the #1 seed in 2008-2009, and lost in a game 7 O.T. in the second round on a goal by Scott Walker, who probably should have been suspended for a sucker punch. That one stung really bad. -The Bruins were up 3-0 in the series against the Flyers in the second round. The Flyers came back and won three games in a row to tie the series up. In the seventh game, the Bruins jumped out to a 3-0 lead................and managed to lose the game. -Last year, the Bruins beat the Canadiens in game 7 O.T. (I was there), then beat the Lightning in game 7 two rounds later, and then finished off the Canucks in seven games in the Stanley Cup Finals. -And, this year, the Bruins lost in O.T. during a game 7 after missing some chances. That's just one teams recent experiences during the playoffs during the past five years. It just gets insane during the playoffs, and any team can really win.
  21. I hope the Rangers are counting their blessings tonight.
  22. Well, then I think you just witnessed his second one. He has to cover that up.
