  1. Are the Lakers going to retire Kobe Bryant's jersey?
  2. http://i.a.cnn.net/si/2004/baseball/mlb/specials/postseason/2004/10/21/bc.bba.alcs.ap/p1_damon_slam1_ap.jpg I ain't even mad. The Patriots are going 19-0 this year. If they don't win the Super Bowl, I'll never post here again. Hell, if they don't win their first eight games, I'll stop positing here.

  4. That's the correct call. I usually hate long suspensions (if you call this long), but this was a clear, dirty elbow with some good force to the head of Harden. Very good suspension.
  5. No, you should not punish based on the result of injury. You should only punish based on the action itself. It's dumb now that the NHL factors in injuries to their suspensions. Suspend the act, and NOT the result.
  6. The Senators got the shaft on most of the calls and non-calls. I love how Rangers fans act like Neil not getting suspended for his LEGAL hit on Boyle somehow evens out Hegelin getting suspended for an illegal hit. Strong logic. The Kreider interference I didn't like too much, but he did go through the crease. The Foligno interference was brutal. Prust should have gotten two minutes for his late hit on Karlsson. Richards should have gotten two minutes for his Paul Bunyan chop. The Neil goal was too inconclusive to overview. However, I don't think the penalties that put Ottawa on the PK for the 5 on 3 were what killed them. Yes, it didn't help that they were down two men, but the Senators were killing it well, and then just blew it themselves.
  7. You didn't go off on anybody......... http://i43.tinypic.com/72fx2w.jpg
  8. Thomas HAS to make that save on the game winning goal. However, that was a terrible "slashing" penalty to put the Capitals on the PP.
  9. He better not play. I can't stand this guy. He's ten times worse than LeBron was made out to be because of "The Decision".
  10. That's because the glass bottled Coke products are imported from other countries and contain actual sugar cane. The sugar in all plastic bottles and cans in the U.S. are made with high fructose corn syrup. I haven't had coke in a glass bottle in a LONG time. I don't like regular coke that much, but now I'm craving it.
  11. I guess looking at a grainy video (that still shows his cuts) is more "legit". . If the head is split, you must acquit.
  12. I hope she has a painful existence for the rest of her life.

  14. He's a total chump. My ass he was having back problems since early March. He's not putting up 30 point games with a "bad back". If he sits out the rest of the season and playoffs, and then plays in the Olympics, I think it would be fair to say he'd become the biggest bitch in NBA history, if he's not already the holder of that title. Complete loser.
  15. Ask David Stern. These are direct quotes from him. And, yes, I do get what you're asking, and I'm not 100% sure, but I just go by what the rules state, and what the commissioner says..... Are you saying the commissioner is incorrect?
  16. They have to be 19 during the calendar year of their draft. How about you actually learn the rules of eligibility and look it up yourself instead of giving incorrect and misinformed comments and pictures as usual?
  17. I never thought one team could have so many tools on it, but I've been proven wrong. Arencibia got his ass handed to him. http://i.imgur.com/5DX6j.png JPA responds: http://i.imgur.com/JK2wq.png Then....... http://i.imgur.com/WI2v6.jpg Boom! http://i.imgur.com/XkL0Y.png http://i.imgur.com/NWbE9.gif
  18. Drogba spent more time laying down yesterday than on his feet. A truly pathetic display, but not surprising in the least.
  19. And, it's just another reason you don't give a long-term contract to a 42 year old juicer.
  20. Show me where the NFL has an age requirement, and not just a requirement of being years removed from high school. The NBA has a clear rule that you must be at least 19 year old. Those are completely different.
  21. Albert Pujols is sure having a strong start to the season. It's more and more obvious that the NL is pretty much the equivalent of AA as a whole.
  22. Notsureifsrs...... It's ILLEGAL for them to discriminate based on a person's age in an effort for them to get a job. The NBA can have the players union "agree" to terms, but those terms are worthless in court if those terms violate written LEGAL laws. And, I messed up in my first post about them not discriminating based upon age, which they CLEARLY are doing.
