Also, one other thing before I go into a longer post. It seems like your main argument is going to revolve around the "timing" of Hasek's rare goals that he allowed in the playoffs, which I strongly disagree with. For some like Roy that is thought to have been so dominant in the playoffs, which he was at times, with much better teams in front of him for the most part, you would think he would be blowing Hasek's playoff stats out of the water...........but he's not. Roy: 2.30 gaa .918 sv% Hasek: 2.02 gaa .925 sv% Also, I don't think it's stupid to think Roy is better, but I do think Hasek was better.

Oh, so you're saying that Hasek pretty much had to play a perfect game for the most part because he knew his team couldn't score, and he did play a near perfect game, yet he lets in one goal and now it's somehow his fault for letting it in at the "worst possible time"? So, he can pretty much play a near perfect game and then allow one goal, and the Sabres lose 1-0, Hasek should be criticized or whatever you want to call it for letting his only goal in at a poor time. I'll address this more tomorrow when I have more time.

He's a cocky, whiney little scrub. I hope he has a terrible career.

Even better than watching Harper fail, will be watching Lawrie fail much worse than Harper. I hope that scrub has a terrible career.

The way I stated the question was just a jab at the Canadians here. However, I think Hasek was certainly better than Roy. Yes, Roy has three Conn Smythe's, but Hasek was NEVER on a team as stacked as the Avalanche teams that Roy was on. And, the 1993 run was not as impressive as some like to think, but I can touch upon that later if need be. Oh, and for people that talk about how Roy has the Conn Smythe's and Hasek doesn't, here's a little reminder for you. The best Canadian players in the world couldn't beat him. And, Canadians love to talk about international awards, for reasons I will never understand, but here you go because Hasek stonewalled a stacked Team Canada. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zb9-hbwmb0Y And, what the hell does Hasek have to do with Blake Griffin? Flopping in basketball isn't a style of play besides playing like a [expletive]. Hasek played that style for a reason, and with great success.

Jason Smith's Flagrant Foul on Blake Griffin
EastCoastNiner replied to ChosenOne's topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
Blake still flopped on that play, flailing his legs in the air. He's the least likable player in the NBA. I think Smith should be given a contract extension for that foul on Griffin. -

You should check out the sports section on the misc with the newest NHL thread. They dedicated it to me this time. . I'm not saying they did it because they like me.......... :glasses: .
-
That was in my sig. If you would really consider him the best in the NHL, then I don't know what to tell you. I put that there around the time he was traded because the blinded Canadians here. Canadians can never admit a Russian or other European players are better than a "good ole' Canadian boy". Canadian fanboys actually think Roy>Hasek. .
-
No, he's not. Malkin is more dominant, and even when he's not scoring (which is rare), he is still dominating games the way no other player in the NHL does. Malkin>Crosby. And, I'm not saying that because of the Malkin "hype" right now. I've been consistent in saying this for years.
-
So, are you guys still going to sit here and say that Malkin isn't the best player in the NHL? He is, bar none.
-
Radulov is playing in his first game tonight since leaving the NHL and now coming back.

Well, if you were straight, I'd say, don't go opening your legs freely then. The guy should have just as much say as the woman, because we all know that women are generally leeches and will suck child support out of the guy if they end up having the kid. Also, why would it be alright for a woman to kill her child and the father have no say? Strong logic.

Saints punishment includes year suspension for Sean Payton
EastCoastNiner replied to Lkr's topic in NFL Football
Yes, filming football games with a new rule change to the video taping procedures is on the same level as paying players to go out of their way to not only try and inflict pain on other players (which is fine), but to try and deliberately injure them and end their career. Strong logic. Warren Sapp is a tool, so his word means very little. He should stick to beating up women, something he knows a lot about. -
I hate to break it to you, but the Phillies are going to suck. Cliff Lee is bound to suck as well. How many healthy knees do the Phillies have?

Saints punishment includes year suspension for Sean Payton

It should have been much more. Two 2nd round picks? It should have been two 1st round picks, for the next two seasons, not including their 1st that the Patriots now own. Goodell is a phaggot. -
They've made some decent moves, especially Moss, but I can't get that excited yet while not knowing the QB situation. They're the the favorites in the NFC West for sure and are a Super Bowl contender, but they haven't made many great moves so far.

The Patriots are filling holes left and right. They're heading into the draft with very few holes, if any. I'm looking forward to this draft!
